  1. I prefer Heartland vapes or Wizard labs, they both have very good reputations. Both websites handle all of the top flavor makers, and sell good quality PG, VG, and Nicotine base.
  2. LV is selling this battery on their website, like to know if anyone has tried it? I'm happy with the LG HG2 batteries, but open to new products.
  3. You will figure it out and get back to vaping, at least I hope you will. I went for a ride the other day, put a Subvod in my pocket, and a 75w TC mod in the sissy bar bag for backup.
  4. Back when I smoked I sometimes would pick up a few cartons from the reservation, when going that direction. Spring is almost here, and maybe you are looking to go for a ride, but don't want to be seen on that Harley with a pink mod.
  5. The muffin man made you do it. How much is a pack in NY now?
  6. You can take it back to the vape shop, or try a higher resistance coil, or put the tank on your subox mini and see what happens, you may also have a short in the tank base. If you have a Subtank mini try putting that on the Subvod.
  7. It is possible the Subvod battery is bad, did you buy it online or at a local vape shop?
  8. Probably not the battery, more than likely you have a bad batch of coils or maybe the coils were packaged wrong, which is possible, what does the coils have printed on them? Did the Subvod work when you got it? Yes a .5 coil will work in a Subvod, if that is what you have.
  9. They should work just fine, the Subvod will blink 3 times when the coil is below .5 ohms or if there is a short, I have Subvods and have tried to use a coil below .5 and all it will do is blink 3 times. Factory coils aren't that accurate, and yours might be .49 or .48 and cause the mod to think there is a short.
  10. What coils are you using, and what ohm are they? The Subvod will blink 3 times if the resistance is below .5 ohms.
  11. The only thing I can suggest at this point is a juice with a little more PG in it. The vertical Kanger coils have cotton that can get packed too tight and won't allow good juice flow when using a high VG juice.
  12. Did you buy it online or at a local vape shop? 3.7 volts should be enough to power a .5 coil. That figures out to be about 26 watts
  13. They should work fine. I have read a few articles about some Subvod batteries going bad after a couple of weeks, maybe you got a bad one. The only way to tell is to check it with a voltmeter. It should read 4.2 volts when fully charged. When the low battery light on mine starts to flash there is still 3.2 volts left.
  14. If what you mean by max VG is 80% or better, than yes its too thick. What ohm coil are you using? Hopefully you are not running a Clapton coil, it needs more watts than the Subvod will put out.
  15. I run 70VG/30PG in the Subvods I have, and they do very well. If your juice is too thick it won't wick very well. One thing is for certain, you will not win any cloud competitions with a Subvod. But they will produce pretty good with the right coil and juice.
  16. As far as the battery goes if you can pick up a LG HG2, its a long lasting battery at 3000mAh, and its a continuous draw 20A battery. Also the difference in coils makes a difference in battery life, a 0.5 coil will make your battery last longer than a 0.3 coil. Basically the higher the resistance the longer the battery life. Titanium and Nickel should be used in TC mode, and never in wattage mode. Another thing you could do is pick up a spare battery and a charger, and during lunch put a fresh battery in it. You did not mention what kind of tank you have, if possible get a tank that you can use a wide range of coils in, the way it sounds is you have some kind of subtank. I'm pretty sure you will get many suggestions on what kind of tank to buy so I'll leave that up to the other members. after rereading your post I did see that you have a Melo2 tank, I have no experience with that tank, maybe someone else here does.
  17. Glad to hear you found something you enjoy, and hope it works out for you. in todays economy one income isn't enough for most people. Personally I would rather be poor and live in the sticks than to be rich and live in a city, but that's me, and everyone has different priorities.
  18. Next time I order from Slowtech this will be on my list. https://www.fasttech.com/product/1804300-510-cree-xp-e-r2-3-mode-280-lumen-pure-white-led
  19. It would not be difficult to take a tank, add a coil that includes a light bulb, and call it a flashlight, that is if flashlights aren't already banned.
  20. I think Kanger may be preparing for new regulations in Europe, they are coming out with a tank that's called a CLtank, the CL stands for child lock, supposedly the tank has a child proof fill. I highly suspect that's the reason that Subvods sold in Europe have a 1.8ml tank. I suspect once they start regulating them here they may even set a limit on wattage, or volts. I'm glad I have some unopened mods and tanks stockpiled.
  21. Glass bottles are not free, you neglected to add the price of the bottle to your cost. When you transfer the 500ml to 10ml bottles you will get some waste, you also didn't add other costs, like labels, transportation costs, and unforeseen cost. At $2.00 per bottle you would be lucky to break even. Also your customers would only have one flavor and one nic strength to chose from.
  22. The only thing you listed that I know of is the 25r, and it is a very good battery, it is possible you may be using a high VG juice and it isn't wicking good enough.
  23. It don't make much sense to me when you can take a pack of cigarettes on a plane, but not a e-cigarette, which is at least 90% safer to use. I guess the politicians aren't getting enough money from the vaping people. Maybe the rider will be taken out before it gets voted on by the Washington cartel.
  24. This is a good example of how the government has to protect the stupid American people from themselves. I do have to add that the people can't be very bright if they keep voting to put people like this back into office. I didn't read the entire bill, but does it state a reason why. If it is because of the batteries, cell phones, laptops, and many other items allowed on planes also have rechargeable batteries. I can see vape gear rental shops opening in airports so you can rent vape gear and buy juice while in town, but maybe juice won't be banned because it doesn't have a battery in the bottle.
  25. I have 2 Subvods, and they vape very well. They do better with the 1.2 horizontal coils than with the .5 coils. Is the air flow open all the way? I can get more vapor using a 75w TC mod with a subtank mini, but not that much more.
