That is how most people list recipes, but the point I was trying to make is flavors vary between makers, 3%mint from FW might be different from 3%mint from TFA, flavor strength varies between different makers. A little adjustment may be necessary to get the same results, so if someone uses the same flavor from a different maker they may have to change the percentage a little. Its kind of a hit and miss thing. I have used recipes that call for a certain flavor maker that I didn't have so I substituted one that I have. I have usually had to adjust the percentage. -
All my stuff from Slowtech comes through customs in SF and usually clears in a couple of days, sometimes only 1 day. Probably SF has a larger customs office and can process stuff faster, since it is a major west coast seaport. As you can see my last shipment was pretty quick. I agree with Edna, we probably could use a subforum just for DIY recipes. I know that everyone has different tastes, and what may taste good to one person may not taste good to someone else. I mostly use Flavor West flavoring, and they will differ from other flavor makers, which people have to consider when mixing flavors. -
I started this morning with what I call caramel latte, its a mixture of caramel, cappuccino, coffee, and Bavarian cream. Now I'm vaping what I call candy bar, it has chocolate, caramel, coconut, and vanilla custard in it. Thinking about switching to strawberry cheesecake. Typically I vape 6 to 7 different flavors a day.

Bump when you get something in vape mail.

Sweet Vapes has them for the same price, Picked up 2 of them plus a Kbox 160w TC (just the mod). -
I have been wrapping my own coils for quite awhile now. When I make a new coil for a RBA I try for .5 ohms, but they vary between .49 and .53, not a big difference, and don't notice a difference when vaping. I use TC for these coils, I let the mod figure it out. All I do is set the temp, and that varies between juices anyway.

In my opinion Its really not that safe to run a single new purple Efest at that wattage. You didn't mention if you use a Kanger single, or a dual battery mod. It would be safer to use them in a dual battery mod. The thing about the kanger mods is they will quit working if the battery is not a good battery and will shut down before blowing up.
-
I don't know why some people rewrap batteries, Personally I would toss them. If you want to use them, it would depend on the mod you have and what wattage you run at. If you use a mech mod defiantly toss them.

One thing I learned about Slowtech, if you check the order status a day after you order, some of the items they don't have in stock are on back order and they wait to ship. I just cancel the back ordered things, After you cancel they ship the stuff they have in stock within a couple of days. Pay pal credits your CC for the difference.

I use this place to search for stuff that's hard to find. http://www.vapecrawler.com/results/IStick 50w

To a mech mod user a good ohmmeter is very important, probably critical. I don't use a mech mod but if I did I would use a protected battery in it. I have read where some mech mod users use coils as low as .1 or .2 in my opinion that's a bomb waiting to go off.
-
Those guys on TV that blow themselves up use mech mods, not regulated mods. With a regulated mod it will shut down before it blows up.
-
I picked up one of them ohm meters on sale, personally I think using the mod is more accurate. I quit using it except for the volt meter part, I use it to see how much charge is left in Subvod batteries. Maybe I got a bad one.

Jason have you seen the new mod by Kanger, I can't remember what its called but its like the NEBox, but only has a 5ml tank and replaceable glass tube. Looks like a updated NEBox. I guess its called a cupti

I have 24g 26g 28g 30g and 32g, it all depends on what resistance you want. I like to use 5 - 7 wraps so I choose a wire that will give the ohms I want. I have settled on 28g for the most part.

We were all dummy noobies at one time.

They are all about the same, some are more expensive than others, but I don't find much difference.

You will probably have another 2 years to get backups for your backups.
-
That wasn't the reason, but it is now.

If you plan on DIY you need a good mixing program, I use ejuicemeup you can find it here http://www.kritikalmass.net/calculators.asp They have a lot of recipes too.

I get my wire from Slowtech, I was getting it from LV but found the wire from China to work just as good, besides I think LV gets their wire from China anyway.
-
You may want a nic base with a higher nic percentage, I use 100mg base. When mixing a 30ml bottle of juice if you want a final nic content of 6mg you would need to add 1.8ml of nic base, so a 100ml bottle of 100mg base will go a long way.

The Subtank mini is available in a top fill version, its called the top tank. As far as wire goes Kanthal is a good choice for power mode, I personally prefer the 28g Kanthal, but other people have different preferences. In TC mode I use SS 316L but not all mods support SS. I find SS is the easiest to work with. I also use SS in power mode. Wicking materials are another story, In the Subtank RBA I use cotton, but in the Kanger horizontal coils that I rebuild I use Rayon, I tried the cotton, but had some wicking problems when chain vaping, the Rayon seems to wick better in those coils. Vaping is not a one size fits all, you will eventually settle on what's best for you.

The way it has been described, sounds like a cigalike to me. I have only tried one once, don't know if they can be chain vaped.
