  1. Sounds like you might have a loose screw, try tightening the screws, sometimes the heat can cause the screws to loosen. I'm not familiar with your particular tank so that's all I can offer. Please disregard a loose screw will cause more resistance not less, looks like I might have had a loose screw for a few minutes. how close to the side of the tank are your coils, one may be shorting on the side of the tank.
  2. Depends on the drug test, what are they testing for? Also it depends on what you vape.
  3. It seems the coconut gets stronger after a week or so, its hard to predict what some flavors will do. I tried it the day after I mixed it and the coconut wasn't that strong, and the chocolate was, but after steeping for a week that got reversed. I had about 60ml left of the original left, so I mixed up a 60ml batch with no coconut, and more chocolate, we will see how that turns out after I combined the two batches.
  4. My first coffee mix was going through a coil every 2 tanks, but then I reduced the coffee flavor from 10% to 5% and now I get 3 tanks per coil. Update on my Candy Bar mix, I reduced the coconut from 5% to 3% and raised the Chocolate from 5% to 7% I failed to fine tune it until yesterday when I thought it might have too much coconut and not enough chocolate.
  5. The only problem I have with coffee flavors is coils don't last very long, but with a RBA it really don't matter much.
  6. The Ego one tank can use the 1.0 ohm coil, or the 0.5 ohm coil, it would be my guess the spinner 2 will not fire a coil that low of resistance. I could not find information on how low of resistance the spinner 2 will fire.
  7. When I was young I thought it was illegal for politicians to take bribes, but I guess that is not the case.
  8. I don't have the patience to wait a week.
  9. Good article, it confirms what I already thought.
  10. I used to use a sonic cleaner to fast steep my juices, than I used a small crockpot for a couple of hours, now I'm lazy, after mixing and shaking, I loosen the cap and put it on the vent of my printer which stays about 130F overnight and it is ready in the morning.
  11. That's pretty close to one of my recipes, but I use 10% Chocolate TFA(clear) 8% Cherry FW 2% Bavarian Cream FW I have a feeling a lot of our recipes will be quite similar.
  12. I like to add a little hazelnut to coffee flavors, and on its own it is a good flavor.
  13. With the dark juices I think using TC makes the coils last longer (they don't crud up as fast). I know some people will disagree with me, but I prefer to use rayon wicks with dark juices, rayon also seems to make the coils last longer. I still use cotton for most of my builds because its easier to work with.
  14. I was thinking about adding a nut flavor instead of coconut, but the only nut flavor I have is hazelnut, and didn't want to try it at this time. So I went with coconut. Peanut butter would make it taste more like a snickers bar.
  15. I have one, and they are about the same as a subox mini setup, but the tank is smaller, and the mod is smaller at one end. Which coil you use depends on how you vape, I use the 1.2 horizontal coil, but you may want to use a different coil, depending on your preferences. Also the Nano is better if you prefer MTL over direct lung.
  16. The tank depends on how you use it, do you want to use factory coils or make your own coils? I use subtanks with a RBA and make my own coils, but you may not want to do that. You will get a lot of different recommendations, but I personally prefer Kanger subtank minis, they are very versatile, and very common so coils are not hard to come by.
  17. Flavor West, but substitutions will probably work, just adjust to your taste.
  18. I guess I'm the first post here. I wanted to try a juice that tasted like a candy bar, I figured I would try a 10ml batch with equal amounts of chocolate, caramel, coconut, and vanilla custard, and adjust the amounts later. To my surprise it tasted really good to start with, after aging for a day. 5% Chocolate TFA (clear) 5% Caramel TFA 5% Coconut FW 5% Vanilla Custard FW The percentages can be adjusted to your taste, I used a 30PG/70VG ratio.
  19. From a business standpoint I can understand why they discontinued making them, the vertical coils are not easily rebuildable, they would prefer to sell new coils rather than have people rebuild the old ones. New coils depending on where you buy them can cost $2 - $4 per coil, a coil can be rebuilt for pennies, and a little time. Being semi retired I usually have the time, and it keeps me busy.
  20. I don't know if Kanger uses vendor supplied coils or they manufacture them, if they use a vendor the vendor may still be producing them, and they may be available for quite awhile. On the big box that I got none of the boxes were checked, on the smaller boxes none of the boxes were checked, so it may be like Earthling789 says, they may be a overstock of a discontinued product, and in that case once the overstock is all sold there will be no more available. I have over 100 right now, so even without rebuilding them I have a years supply. (I do rebuild them), but will keep buying more if they are available.
  21. Most of my flavors are FW but the chocolate I use comes from TFA and is almost clear, and the coils last longer. I don't know how it compares to the dark chocolate but it does taste like chocolate to me. It seems like when I add a little TFA caramel to the mix it brings out the chocolate flavor a little more. I hope eventually I can find a lighter color coffee flavor, but probably not.
  22. I don't mind spending a little more if it helps to support the forum, actually I would prefer to buy vape products made in the US, but I don't think there are any, not saying there's anything wrong with the Kanger stuff made in China, because they do make a good dependable product or I wouldn't be using their stuff exclusively. its just I would prefer to buy American made stuff. There was a rumor that the Hohm Slice is made in the US, but found out it was designed here and manufactured in China, same is true of Evolve. I did read somewhere, I can't remember where but rumor has it that the TC Kanger uses was designed by TI. I guess that's close enough.
  23. Would be nice if those were the coils, but some people here including me prefer the horizontal coils over the vertical coils. The horizontals seem to last longer, better taste, and leak less. I guess we just get picky, and can't be made happy.
  24. Maybe if we only listed recipes with 0 nicotine it might help with legal issues.
  25. Thanks Chris, if it is a legal problem don't look at some of the posts from the past, that way you can claim you didn't know.
