  1. The subox nano mod should fire a .3 coil, the Eleaf Melo might look a little big on it, but it should work.
  2. I don't know anything about a Provari, so can't be much help there, but I do know about the subtank nano, I use them every day almost, the only time they leak on me is when I leave them in a hot car. Other than the hot car thing, my nano tanks don't leak. I use a 30PG/70VG mix so that might be why they don't leak, maybe with a thinner juice they might leak.
  3. That would do it, sounds like a house brand, should be steeped already, from just sitting on the shelf waiting to get bought. Could be a bottle without flavor in it though, in that case no amount of steeping will bring the flavor out. I checked Uncle Junks on the internet, they get pretty good reviews, and they use a 70VG/30PG ratio which is a good ratio.
  4. I have many mods, from Subvods to a Kanger 160w, mostly I use a Kanger 75w TC, there are many ways to age juice, from using a sonic cleaner to a crock pot depending on what you have available. What brand and PG/VG ratio is the juice you have?
  5. By the looks of your post it seems you are using TC, turn the temp up a little at a time until you can taste it. If it starts to burn before you can taste it, might be your juice has very little or no flavor in it, which can happen when large batches are made and not mixed good enough. Also your juice may need to be steeped (aged to bring the flavor out).
  6. I have used non PG flavoring from Olive Nation, their website recommends not to use it for vaping, (it is probably just for liability reasons) use at your own risk. It has a water/alcohol base, so when vaping it you will get more sizzle, and spit back at higher watts, and you will also need to use a little more flavor. Try to stay away from flavors with Triacetin in them, it will separate from VG,
  7. Good choice so far, hope you have good luck with vaping.
  8. You can get a 75w single battery mod for cheaper, but don't know your vaping habits. The reason I like the mods that use the 18650 battery is you can keep a spare battery charged and just switch batteries instead of waiting for a charge.
  9. I would recommend the LG HG2 if you need a good 18650 battery. I have heard good things about the eleaf ipower 80w TC, it has a 5000mAh built in battery, more than twice that of the disruptor. I was a little late it looks like. Apparently shipping to Canada is spendy, but good choice.
  10. Yep you sure do have to order batteries as well, unless the batteries are built in. I was just using the Kanger 160w as an example, the VT store is currently sold out of them (I got the last one). I ordered it Saturday, and got it Tuesday, so the wait isn't very long. Don't know how the shipping to Canada is though, that would be a question for Chris.
  11. I agree with Adversarious, the disruptor won't give you much to grow, only 2000mAh battery won't give much battery life, no TC which you might not need but I found with chain vaping it helps to keep the tank cool, and longer coil life. For the price I don't think the disruptor is a good buy, when there are better mods at a cheaper price. My last purchase was a Kanger 160w TC Kbox from the VT store, $39.99 with free shipping, add a couple of 18650 batteries and you have a mod that will last a couple of days on a charge, for around $55 - $60.
  12. I think your interpretation is close if not right on. Don't know what the FDA is going to do with all that money, but I figure it isn't going to be used to reduce the cost of running the FDA. It seems to me the more money the government gets the more it wants, just my opinion.
  13. Personally I'm getting tired of the government telling me what's best for me. I can make my own decisions on what's best for me, I don't need a bunch of politicians in DC telling me how to live my life. I also know a society needs a certain number of laws, but right now I believe we have too many laws that infringe on our freedoms.
  14. Got my Kanger 160w Kbox today from the VT store, ordered it Saturday, got it today. Pretty fast since it came from NJ. I thought the VT store was in California, but wrong again I guess.
  15. Do you plan to run TC, or just watt mode? lately I have been running TC exclusively, except for the Subvods I use.
  16. I use a single 18650 LG HG2 in a 75w TC, and it lasts 6 - 8 hours using TC. In the 160w with 2 batteries it will last 2 days then some, but that's dual battery too. How high of watts you talking about?
  17. The base for the Subtank mini, and the Top tank mini are the same base, you can get a bell cap that will fit either one. Subtank mini bell caps are available from a lot of places, I got one from SV. SV has the bell cap for $3.95
  18. The Kbox 75w uses a 18650 battery, not built in, but the Kanger 70w is almost identical to the istick 50w. Other than the 70w only has a 4000mAh battery, it also has TC, which the istick 50w don't have.
  19. Just placed my first order with VT store, got a Kanger 160w TC Kbox, I wanted to get 2, but they only had 1, so now I'm waiting for Chris to get some Subvod batteries in stock, and maybe more 160w Kbox mods.
  20. The bootlegging will start if it already hasn't, someone will see a profit in selling vape gear to minors, There are teenage gang bangers in some cities that pack guns, you know they didn't buy them at a gun store and you can't buy them online. Just because something is illegal for them to buy don't mean they can't get it. When I was a teenager I didn't have much trouble getting smokes or alcohol. I don't think some Chinese vendors will be very picky about who they sell to.
  21. It would probably depend on the state law, I didn't notice in the regs any thing about it, besides sales to minors are prohibited. You are right about kids going into bars with their parents, its been happening for years. Maybe they are afraid the second hand vape will be harmful. But being private property they can restrict minors from entering if they want, at least that's the way it used to be.
  22. I am very familiar with over production, using CNC machines, once the tooling is set and the program is in, the only cost is material, and electricity. As a example I sell 200 parts to a company every few months, if I run 800 - 1000 parts, I can sit on the remaining parts until they order them. The only downside is if they change the specs. So far they have not changed specs for years. I do this with most of the repeat parts I produce. The more parts I produce the cheaper the cost per part, so profit margin goes up. Due to the fact most of the parts I produce are proprietary, I can't sell them to someone else. The Chinese could care less if a part is proprietary, so they can sell them.
  23. The istick 60w TC, 100w TC, 200w TC, and the Pico all use replaceable 18650 batteries.
  24. You could go simple and get a ijust or maybe a subvod, no VW but they work well. I only have Kanger mods so I can't be much help on choosing a mod, except I can tell you the Top tank mini 75w TC is a good setup, top fill and replaceable 18650 battery. The Pico sounds like a good mod, if you decide on a TC mod try to get one that can use a variety of coils. Ti, Ni, SS, and maybe NiCr.
