  1. The saying goes, "the simpler the better" I don't think I want a tank with moving parts in it. The tank I use the most is a Kanger Subtank mini, don't get much simpler than that, and no moving parts.
  2. Horseradish is a root, so it grows just like taters. Don't even have to replant every year, unless you manage to pull all of it up. When we need some horseradish we just go out back pull one up, and make fresh horseradish.
  3. I break mine down into smaller bottles for two reasons. I received them in plastic 1 liter bottles, and I read somewhere that over time nicotine will degrade plastic, don't know if this applies to nic kept in the freezer or not, I don't even know if nic does degrade plastic for sure. When kept in smaller bottles with a minimal air space there's less chance of oxygen causing the nicotine to oxidize (turn brown). Besides I have lots of spare time.
  4. Don't know if you have a dog, but if you do, you can rename him Egor, and really give your neighbors something to think about. Do you grow your own horseradish? I planted some a few years back, and it grows like a weed, can't kill it.
  5. Coffee clears your taste buds, so people taste more when drinking coffee. That's why I keep some coffee flavored juice in one of my tanks, when I start getting vapors tongue I vape some coffee juice for a little bit and it clears it up, but it only works if you use a coffee flavor made from coffee beans, not all coffee flavors are made from coffee beans.
  6. Its a VG base, and VG don't freeze in the freezer, when I get Nic base I buy it by the liter, I transfer it to 4 250ml glass bottles, and label it. I have had some of it in the freezer for more than 2 years, and its still as clear as the day I received it. Right now I have 8 250ml bottles in the freezer, when my bottle in the fridge gets empty I will take one out. I figure at a 2mg mix I have enough base to make about 100,000 ml of juice.
  7. I get my nicotine base from Heartland Vapes, they have 2 choices regular nicotine or premium nicotine at almost double the price, I buy the cheap stuff, they don't have organic nicotine, that would probably be triple the price. I'm down to 2mg nic in most of my juices, and 0 nic in a couple of other juices, I have 2 liters of 100mg base in the freezer now, and about 120ml in the fridge that I currently use for mixing, I probably have a lifetime supply if it lasts that long in the freezer. It might even outlast me.
  8. Didn't know they had organic nicotine, most of the nicotine used is produced in India because the regs make it too expensive to make here. Nicotine comes from the tobacco plant, and other plants, it is extracted by a chemical process. Reminds me of the time I saw a add that said they used organic wool in their product, wool is not grown it comes from sheep.
  9. You could get a motorcycle, its a lot of fun, and hard to vape when going down the road at 60, I know I tried it a couple of times. Now I just wait until I stop for something.
  10. Steep and mix at the same time. The cleaner I have has a timer that only goes to 8 minutes, 2 cycles usually is enough. Kind of interesting watching the bubbles form and rise to the top.
  11. Didn't you say you had a sonic cleaner, they work great for mixing juice, just fill the cleaner with water set your bottle of juice in and turn it on. don't put the label on until after its been sonic mixed.
  12. The reason most people vape more than when they smoked is because a ciggy only lasted a few minutes. You can continue to vape a long time depending on the tank capacity, and battery life, that's why you vape more, its because you can, and it tastes better. That's how I see it, but everybody is different some people might not vape more, but I do
  13. Wizard Labs or Heartland Vapes have the best prices, and largest selection.
  14. I did it again, used a OCC coil that I rebuilt with kanthal for a Subvod, subvods use a subtank nano. I put the nano on a 75w Kanger TC mod, switched to CR mode set the .78 coil, and set the temp down to 200F, got no vape, slowly raised the temp, and settled on 270F. Watched the watts while pressing the fire button, and after the initial surge the watts hovered around 13 watts, I normally run that coil around 15 watts when in power mode, so I guess Kanthal does work in NC mode. I normally run my juice between 360F and 380F so I had to drop the temp about 100F.
  15. Since I consider myself semi-retired from my machine shop I operated since 1994 I don't take on any new customers, but still work with my old customers on a limited basis. I should sell my machinery and fully retire, but than I would get very bored. At least it gets me out of the house. My shop is on my property so its not like I have to drive anyplace, and all it costs me is electricity, and tooling if I break any.
  16. The Kanger TC mods that have a NiCr setting will work with Kanthal, I have tried it a couple of times. I used the NiCr mode and used a much lower temp setting than I normally would. Not something I would do on a daily basis, but I just had to try it.
  17. I can't legally sell the juice I make, but I can take donations to help offset my cost, I can't help the donations I get are more than I invest.
  18. I started with ordering 30ml bottles of flavor, which is pretty cheap. now I order 4oz bottles at from $6 - $8 for a 8oz bottle its $10 - $12 depending on the flavor. A 4oz bottle mixed at 20% will make 720ml of juice, that comes out to about .30 cents for a 30ml bottle. Actually I even make juice for friends, so I probably don't pay anything for the juice I vape.
  19. FDA ran him out of business with their regs, afraid its going to happen more often.
  20. You could start mixing your own juice, not only will it give you something to do it will also save you some money. I did do a cost analysis once and I think it came out to about $1 for a 30ml bottle, you will also have more control over what you vape.
  21. 1/16 bit. Originally I tried drilling the parts that came with the tank, but that didn't work out. I have some 1/4 SS 304 so I put some in the bar feeder, programed the lathe, set the tooling, and made a few parts. That worked out pretty good.
  22. I figured out the best use for my Kanger 160w dripbox, and my aspire quad flex kit. After some modifications to the Aspire parts, like drilling a hole through the RTA adapter I have managed to build a squonk fed RTA. So now instead of having a RTA with a 2ml capacity I can refill the RTA tank by just squeezing the 7ml squonk bottle built into the mod. It may seem like a silly idea to some people, but I like it.
  23. I may be a little biased because all my mods are Kanger, but I think the Kanger Subvod is a great pen style starter device, the wide range of coils make it capable of pretty much any style of vaping. I have 2 of them which I use almost daily, and they fit nicely in my pocket.
  24. Back a few years ago I ran those batteries in a Evic, and ran 1.8 coils in a KPT2. Never got above 10 watts which is a 2.4 amp drain, well within the 4.8 amp limit of the battery. I ran them because of the longer battery life.
  25. I didn't consider the mod being a dual battery mod, you might be good down to .5 ohms, but Adversarious gave the best advice buy a couple of good 20A batteries
