Here in the UK vaping is getting bigger by the minute in the last 4 months in our town we have gone from zero ecig shops to 5 and the supermarkets have started with them as well. I get asked regularly about it when people see me using my gear and they want to know sometimes in great detail about different tanks and mods. I enjoy talking to people about the experiences of vaping and tell them not to go over the top buying expensive gear at first. My advice is to tell them to get a basic ego kit and start from there and it wont cost them more than 5 packs of cigarettes - and you still have the gear after the cigs would have been 'consumed'. It is one of the best things I have ever done and the money saved is unbelievable and my health is much better as well. Four of my friends have stopped smoking in the last month and we are 'working' on another two just now. This forum is really good for help and information and has helped me a great deal and I thank everyone on it for the time and patience they have shown.

I am too old to even remember yesterday but having smoked for 50 years and getting away with it healthwise - hopefully - I still cannot believe that I have stopped - I smoke my ecig the same way as I smoked a cigarette and the first draw of nicotine in the morning is awesome I have learned that smoking a real cigarette is the most wasteful way of getting nicotine - and it took me 50 years to find out

It's kind of like you have one pot and you want to boil water. That one pot is your battery device. You can either set it on the top of the stove (we'll say this is voltage), or you can put it into the oven (we'll say this is wattage). You can't set that one pot onto the stove and into the oven at the same time. That's an easy way to think of wattage and voltage.

The way to quit smoking by substituting vaping is simple... but it's in this order...

    Willpower
High enough level of nicotine level to help stave off cravings
    Willpower
Good tasting juice (fruits, candy, bakery... all good things to get you away smoking)
    Willpower
Reliable tank and battery (at least two of each so you can switch flavors and have one charging while you use the other)
    Willpower
A good support-group, like the fine folks on this forum!!

PS, don't feel bad if you don't quit tomorrow... it's not an Olympic event, not a race, and there are no penalty points for having to have a few smokes as you get into vaping... everyone is different!

Hi Duke - I have the MVP2 as well and have left it on charge overnight and have never had a problem it is safer however to have it charged while you're conscious in case it does go wrong

Hi - I'm new here - been vaping for 1year today no cigs for 8 months - can't go back now - since I have changed to an MVP with variable volts and watts it is a whole new ball game - I am using an Aspire K1 tank on an Innokin MVP2 - looking at a nautilus mini - any views.
