  1. There are so many of each on the market now, that it is hard to keep up. It can also get to be very confusing. Let's limit ourselves to just the ones with the replaceable heads (Vivi, Drunker, I Clean 16 for the top coils, and Kanger and Aspire for the bottom coils). The list is far from complete, and to confuse things even more, you have single and dual coils of each type. There are fans of both. The top coils will give you a hotter vape than the bottom coils; this is just a question of what you like. Many of the single coil in each style can be rebuilt, but not all. Trying to do a dual in those tiny heads goes beyond my level of patience. Replacement heads are between $1-$2. Thicker juices with a lot of VG would probably work better in a top coil, but that is a guess on my part since I only vape 70/30. There have been a lot of complaints about both styles, but the problems can be brought under control by cleaning the heads fairly often. After every other thank, just pop the chimney off, soak in denture cleaner, rinse, dry pulse burn, and the head will be fine. At the end of the day, you will have to try both to see what suits you best. My suggestion would be an I Clear 16 and a Kanger T3. They are cheap enough if you shop around.. Get a few replacement heads. Anyone who claims to have found the perfect universal topper is not telling the whole truth, and I have tried them all. I like my Kanger's after modding them for travel because they are so convenient. I like my Kayfun and Genesis style for home/office, but I would never put one in my briefcase or pocket. People swear by carto tanks, top coils, and drippers. To each his/her own. If dripping were my only option, I would still be smoking. You have to try it to see what you like.
  2. Right now, anything with a Li battery from FT requires special handling, extra shipping costs, and further delays than normal. However, their website will tell you what your shipping options are. If they say Singapore post, count on a minimum of 20 days transit time instead of the usual 10. I have gone a little crazy with them over the last few months and have been hoarding like crazy. All of this new legislation being proposed scares me I have only had 3 defects: two Kraken clones and a TEC Flashlight mod, and they have made good-probably better than most US suppliers since they credit you for the return postage. I have learned a few things in dealing with them: their prices are incredible (in many cases 50% less than in the US), they are absolutely reputable with good customer service, and don't order anything from them that you need in a hurry. On my last order, placed on Feb 5,, I tried to order a little illuminated jeweler's loop with a Li button battery, and even that small item would have knocked my entire order into special handling. BTW, those Kayfun, Taifun, and Russian clone's are absolutely fantastic RBA's. Just clean them and clean them again, fiddle a bit with the coil and wick set up, and for the price of an original you can buy a half dozen clones. Sorry to the originators, but I have been burned far too often with junk that never worked or broke so often that the repairs were a bottomless pit: Buzz Pro, Joker, Darwin, Fluxomizers. I am still ticked at GotVapes for that last one, since I had a bunch of dry cleaning bills on top of it.
  3. I first ordered the Joker AV, even after reading some bad reviews on it and Vaprlife, but the Buzz was out of stock. Unfortunately, the bad reviews were justified. I had a loose contact and it took them 6 days to get back to me with an answer, and a poor one at that. Then, after much dikering, they said it would take them 5 days to turn a warranty repair around. 6 days to answer an email and then they expect me to be gullible enough to beleive 5 days for a repair! Of course, I had to pay the postage for something that was defective on arrival. No, I wanted my money back. Well, there was going to be a 15% restocking fee. All I all, I was out roughly $35 between postage and restocking. Cut my losses! Ordered a Buzz, which has much bigger batteries. (3.7 v 800 mah vs 3.0v at a wretched 400 mah for the Joker). That is hardly better than the Little Sister which is 2/3 smaller or the larger Joye 510- both at 350 mAh. Terrible company! Tony
