Hey Basil, thanks for the notes, always appreciate feedback! I wasn't aware that not having the wiring and resistor enclosed on a stacked battery setup could potentially be more hazardous than any other exposed wire job on other mods. I haven't messed around on that top cap at all, but from what I can see, the wiring seems to be really well shielded and tucked away. Then again, he has a lot of crap stuffed up there. In my research I've always found AW batteries to be a fairly safe battery. Maybe I'm putting too much faith in my power choice?

I really hope that you can get your issues squared away with Jay on that unit, I know what you mean by wanting to love a device. I've been really lucky with the performance on mine, and I hope you can experience the same quality product. That being said, I'd also be interested in seeing your re-review of the GLV-2 and hearing what your experience has been, your reviews have always been really informative for me.

I purchased 4 of these to try out, and I'm not impressed. It looks like they were trying to offset the center tube hole so that you could more easily drip down the middle to refresh your carto(although that may just be an inconsistency in production).

They hold a lot of juice, but the couple I've tried all have a real funny taste to them. From what I've read, the vendor is saying that is because there isn't enough juice in them. I've filled these things to the brim, and all I've ended up with was wasted juice and a silly taste. I think I'll stick with my BOGE soft tips.

Of course, I will agree with Dayvape here...only thing, you may have some problems with low resistance on just a standard 510 battery. The battery life is fairly short to begin with, and supporting LR on something of that size may give you problems. I personally have tried it on my 510 batteries, and remember getting about a 30 min battery life with the LR BOGE 2.0 ohm cartos. Other than battery life, I'm not sure if there are any other negative aspects to using a lr atty or carto on a 510 due to the way it drains the battery, so hopefully someone with a little more knowledge on that can chime in. After reading in the forums, I decided to try a VG based juice to see if I would encounter less irritation. To be honest, I didn't really enjoy the VG based juice as much as the PG. After a few weeks, all of the discomfort in the throat just went away. I rarely have a dry sore throat anymore.

All I can think of, is I also was having some allergy issues at the time, alongside from kicking a long habit of cigarettes. I vape 10-15ml a week, and I'm feeling great. Hopefully this will pass for ya.

Let me start off by saying, I've only been vaping a month. Nothing fancy, just my eGo. After dripping, I didn't think I would try anything else. I've enjoyed dripping, and using attys. While looking for toys I thought I would pick up a pack of the BOGE 510 LR Cartos from www.vaporkings.com. For the price, I thought they would make a nice backup in the event of an emergency. I also picked up a syringe for filling.

As usual, my shipment came in 2 days after ordering. I really like the fact that they are labeled 2.0 OHM on the carto. It's nice to know off the bat what I've received when I open the package.

For my first experience, I loaded the syringe with 2ml of 18mg Sweet Caroline from iVape.net. Popped off the rubber tip and I pushed the syringe down one side of the filler and slowly pumped in the solution until the top started looking like a slush. Held the 2ml perfectly. I like the fact that these can be filled in a pinch without the syringe, but filling time with the syringe was really quick. I added a trip tip on my stainless steel eGo, and it actually looked kinda cool with the black space between the eGo and the stainless steel drip tip. Took the first pull off the carto and...

nothing.

Tried again, and great flavor and vapor. This experience lasted for the next 3 hours of heavy vaping with no signs of any degradation of flavor or vapor. Each pull felt like the first. Today is day 2, I've topped it off w/o the syringe, dripping slowly down the sides, and it's working flawlessly.

Drippers, next time you put in an order for goodies, please pick these up. Thanks to Dayvape for driving this point home over and over on the forum, I probably would have never picked these up otherwise. Dripping is decent for trying new flavors, but I think I've pretty much settled on my go-to's for liquid. Having these cartos is like a whole new experience, and you really can't beat the price.

That's funny you mention your eGo... because what I was thinking about giving you is 2 standard eGo batts, 1 Mega batt, a USB fast charger for the batts, various atomizers, and whatever else I find to throw in.

What do you think about something like this package? I mean, someone could honestly start vaping right away with nothing else to purchase right away.

By the way, just so you know... there was a guy on this forum who started up a discussion about how he was a soldier over in Iraq with a bunch of his "brothers",etc. Then he started sweet talking everyone and acted all upset about running out of supplies, etc.... to the point that a bunch of us honestly felt sorry for him and were totally ready to open ourselves up to him and give him a bunch of free crap!! Well, come to find out, the guy was a total FRAUD and was only there to collect a bunch of supplies at our expense. Luckily, we have a lot of smart people on this forum and they traced his IP address to FLORIDA instead of IRAQ and we were all warned in the nick of time. This is just one of many reasons that I'm reluctant to "help someone out" that is telling a really great story. I guess I will need to sleep on this and let you know.

Talk about commitment, I stapled about a case of beer cans to my legs, and then hit the party circuit with sharpies a razor and hair clippers. Let everyone have at me at the parties. Needless to say, I now have a shaved head, and no beard. They showed no mercy. Try getting coffee from the waffle house the next morning...not gonna happen.

There was a post about removing the fiberfill from a carto that is not producing the goods and dripping on the element to get some more use from it.I tried it and made a mess.There is no bridge or ceramic pot to catch and hold the liquid ,it just runs out all over your hands.For $2.00 or less a peice I just chuck them when they start to lose flavor .Usually 10 or 15 ml worth of use.
