  1. Hiya gang, So, I finally received in my supplies to start using my new GGTB(which, by the way is AWESOME!) and I have a quick question about the attys y'all are using at 6v The GGTB takes several different battery combos, and my first run was with a 14500 and a 901lr atty. I must say, I am really pleased with the lr901, particularly the air flow and the flavor. Works really great. For my second test, I went to run 2 tenergy LiFePO4 batteries to try at 6v vaping. This is my first run at 6 volts, so I'm not too familiar with it yet. Since I have read that standard 901's aren't too great in the vapor production, I opted to get some adapters so I could run a standard joye 510. The combo actually works great. Nice kick, good vapor production, and flavor is what I was expecting at 6v. I have noticed that after about 3 drags, the atty heats up quite a bit, and I haven't experienced this with the exception of chain vaping at 5v. My question is this...What do you use at 6v for an atty, and is it common for a relatively quick increase in tempature at 6 volts? I just don't want to stress the atty or batteries more than needed. Thanks for the help!
  2. Told you it even looks better in person! Love the knot of wood above the button. Happy new year, and enjoy!
  3. I went from a few bottles on the counter, to an ego case, to TUPPERWARE, to a juice closet...It gets out of hand fast. Luckily I live alone and I can dedicate a closet to juice. I arrange them by styles of flavor: Tobacco, Fruit, Savory, Sweet, etc...that way I can just grab a handful and go. Best of luck!
  4. I'm glad I'm not the only one staying home! working til 8pm NYE and have to be in at work at 8am New Years Day. I'm thinking an order of wings and a little **** Clark!
  5. Smokie, you're like the US Post office, you get those reviews done in rain, sleet snow and hail, love it!
  6. Damn Roor, I didn't get the memo! Hook a brother up!
  7. Happy holidays to Snubber and the rest of the VT family! I have a lot to be thankful for this year, and the biggest one is to be able to finally quit analogs with the help of all you lovely people. So as you all sit back with your family on this Christmas Eve, I'm here at the office, tooting on some freedom smoke usa candy cane, and looking out the window, sipping some mulled cider and brandy. Perfectly content. Okay, y'all be safe this weekend, and enjoy your time off!
  8. I get my LR BOGE cartos at Vapor Kings. They work great for me, but I really love that they put the ohm rating on the carto so you know what you are using.
  9. Although a tad more pricey, I can't imagine using a 306 without this drip tip. The cannon by Cherry Vape is really a must when using the 306. http://www.shop.cherryvape.com/The-Cannon-Drip-Tip-0027.htm?productId=19
  10. Hey Girth, There are many different strengths and varieties to try. Generally, the more nicotine content, the greater the throat hit. I would recommend trying some lower nic juice, and also a VG juice (if you're currently using a PG based juice). For me, it was trial and error, but be sure to drink plenty of fluids when vaping to keep your throat from getting too dry, and I'm sure you'll find the right combination that works for you. Best of luck!
  11. I purchased 4 of these to try out, and I'm not impressed. It looks like they were trying to offset the center tube hole so that you could more easily drip down the middle to refresh your carto(although that may just be an inconsistency in production). They hold a lot of juice, but the couple I've tried all have a real funny taste to them. From what I've read, the vendor is saying that is because there isn't enough juice in them. I've filled these things to the brim, and all I've ended up with was wasted juice and a silly taste. I think I'll stick with my BOGE soft tips.
  12. I'll usually pack two flavors when I'm going out, just to be sure I have a touch of variety. I tend to follow the pattern of an analog smoker, meaning that if I'm going somewhere indoors, I will still go outside to vape so that I don't go into overdrive. I'd prefer to not get into the habit of vaping more than I smoked when going out(at home is a different story). In this type of situation, I usually will use a tobacco flavor, 18-24mg. If I'm going somewhere outdoors, like a drinking porch or the such, I'll usually pack a lower strength, around 10-12, since I know I may go a little overboard. I don't really have a favorite flavor in particular when responsibly enjoying an adult beverage, it just depends on the mood.
  13. I've tried the banana nut bread from Freedom Smoke USA, and just ordered some from Blue Mist to compare...I'm going to have to add this one to the list, thanks for the review!
  14. Be stealthy, hit the bathroom stalls, and watch your back! Wear a sweatshirt, conceal your PV, and blow the vape back in the sleeve...get creative, but don't get kicked out!
  15. Love some props for Joe! Love the sweet caroline, I'm a fan boy for sure!
  16. You'll find better airflow and a more comfortable mouthfeel in a drip tip. They are easy to clean, an absolute must if you're dripping, and I like the draw with the larger hole in top. Drip tips come in aluminum, delrin plastic, acrylic, stainless steel, and even now coming out with pyrex glass. I started out with a stainless steel tip, but quickly realized that a plastic one for me is the way to go. They are inexpensive, and I know of at least 1 vendor who has about 6 different kinds for around a buck a piece. If you're putting in an order anyway, it would be a nice addition.
  17. Of course, I will agree with Dayvape here...only thing, you may have some problems with low resistance on just a standard 510 battery. The battery life is fairly short to begin with, and supporting LR on something of that size may give you problems. I personally have tried it on my 510 batteries, and remember getting about a 30 min battery life with the LR BOGE 2.0 ohm cartos. Other than battery life, I'm not sure if there are any other negative aspects to using a lr atty or carto on a 510 due to the way it drains the battery, so hopefully someone with a little more knowledge on that can chime in. Hope this helps, and congrats on your new kit!
