Guess we all have times when a cig seems to be the only 'answer'. Stress is the driver, and frustration with equipment seems to follow. ( at least for me ) Agree with Tam 100% about having a simple, ALWAYS WORKS set up handy. TC and sub-omhing mega watts are nice, but a BCC coil head at 8-10 watts gives me that ' AH....' moment when it is needed. Hang Loose, as we used to say in the 60's, lol.

This is a direct connect top cap without a delrin insulator. Also, no locking ring. The combination of a Hybrid connection and no locking ring, makes this a mod that needs extra care in how it is handled.

Probably just another company from China. My kayfuns are from different factories, some good, some just so-so. If the item you like is 'out-of-style', feel lucky someone still wants to clone it. I for one, do not like the fact that most clones use the logo of the originals. Other than that, it's pretty much all I can afford.

I have to admit that I started DIY partly out of fear ( in case future rulings take affect ) and it also seemed like something fun to try. Nothing too serious. Now, was told my local B&M might discontinue my favorite juice. I think I have sampled every juice they offer and nothing does it for me. New trend is to make more heavy % of VG offerings, which is not what I need for my RTA's. Now the quest to find the right recipe as a replacement; need to order more flavors...

Since I don't own a box type ohm checker, took the 510/ego connection from an old ego battery and fitted it onto an old plastic bed leg for a build station. ( I use a multi-meter for volt/ohm readings...)

Since I dropped Nic to 12mg for my tanks, I now use between 12 to 16 ml per week. Fill them ( holds about 4ml ) and rewick after second fill and new coil at the end of the week. ( kayfun and Russian ) Getting ready to drop to 6mg next week.

It does seem that the Vaping community has many enemies. I think that it just a matter of time before serious restrictions are put in past. Also see no way around it. We, as a society, continually ask to be protected. It has become an obsession for some to always answer that call.

Welcome. Only tip I can give, is that it does work. You can quit. Keep at it...! And don't forget, a tank can be a nice change of pace.

Had a couple of those brews that need a lime slice last weekend. Switched to Guava in my tank and didn't miss the lime.

I try to do it like when I smoked. When I feel 'THE URGE', grab, unlock, fire, give it a second to heat the coil, pull till satisfied. Spin the locking ring, sit it down and move on. ( unless there is a good movie on, then I might grab the tank with 0 nic and do it like popcorn; never leaves the hand...)

Got me thinking about when the battery in my mech mod starts showing a change in vapor production. Might see small drop at the air hole or slight gurgle on my Kayfun lite. So far, this always happens about 3.5v on the battery. I'm pulling more juice in, but it can't vaporize it fully. My signal to change the battery.

My local B&M sells their own brand Sancia online and they have Guava in Drip or regular. Their Caramelvis is my all day vape.

Got some Nirvana ( Organic Strawberries and Cream 100% VG ) that I mix with my Caramel. The Nirvana is too strong by itself, even at 6mg. Also add some Guava to my vanilla sometimes.

Nice thing is that they have many coil packs at different ohm ratings. A friend gave me some of his cotton pads and I liked them. No taste from first pull to last.

If you haven't seen this one, check it out. 'Sahara' - released in 1943 starring Humphrey Bogart. Along with 'King Rat', one of my favorite WWII movies. Have some water handy, you'll want some after watching this one.

Welcome. Was also told to just STOP, if I didn't want to carry around one of those green bottles. Many in our age group started smoking because it was readily available and very cheap. Stay with it, and have fun finding out what is out there in the Vaping world. You will look back and say 'why did I wait so long'.
