i agree with jasonculp......wouldnt chance it error on the side its a short. why would he show it with the cap off so we could see the coil?

have you handled both? which feels good to you? which looks good to you? besides performance needs there is also a comfort need that i think one needs to address.

not at all gag8tor, any conversation that evolves is just a great conversation. i actually think we may need a section on coils only. so many different types and builds to discuss. also would be a great place to answer safety questions on x sub ohms, surface area blah blah

ya they seem to produce lots of vapor with minimum air flow .... in theory they shouldn't work but they seem to kick butt i assume the coil is so wicked up it keeps the coil cool

Rixter, do you build them all equally in resistance value? or coil size depends on spacing? what makes you pick dual coil for one vs single coil for another.

These guys claim made in the usa, 3 digit accuracy for 22 bucks or so. Now i dont own one, but was shown to me via a friend who claims it is spot on. i think they claim 0.018 accuracy. again i have not seen data sheets, reviews etc etc. Just FYI http://www.shop.usaohmmeters.com/

the first battle you should be taking on is getting your friend to get on the forums and read things for himself. Why does he want to go below 0.3ohms, i have seen dual 12 wrap coils at 0.3 ohms blow more smoke that should satisfy any cloud chaser desire.

Welcome to VT, how long were you smoking? how much do u smoke on a typical day.

From what i can tell about wics is that you build has the cotton wrapped from top to bottom like a horse shoe and in one piece going thru both coils. so when you drip it goes directly to the cotton. then i assume gravity feeds down

Edit my OP.... i have only built horizontal coils, i got a aria orion rda so i can play with vertical builds.

So what is your preference on coils do like rda's with vertical builds or horizontal. Any reason why? flavorcloudsease of build For myself; all my builds have been vertical only, i did order an RDA with horizontal build so i will try it then

Tug; Who is they? I am also looking for a few different size magnet supplier. In terms of the nemesis, i stretched out the little spring a little and the switch works 1000% better.

i agree gator, i even see people use their box mods to measure the resistance. totaly not sure about accuracy especial at those resistance levels.

Tugboat; do you run a scorpion coil on both sides or just as you have it pictured? Im trying to build one on with 26g but i always ruin it trying to get the tail twisted tighter.
