  1. So I saw your reviews and visited your site; First let me say that i am definitely putting the time machine on my wish list.....absolutely love it. From one of my favorite novels and author. What is the difference between basic line, original line, signature line? Sorry for the newbie questions.
  2. Lets see, from what i gather or IMHO: Anti-smoker groups hate vaping and fight it cause they believe its a gateway for kids to smoking.... not the opposite. The won the big battles and think vaping is a counter attack to smoking laws. Pro-smokers hate vaping cause of the wealth transfer concept or further tranfer of wealth. And dam it they cant control the addiction levels anymore. Were doomed i tell you were doomed.....
  3. Ok, now i accidentally rested my tank on a heating table, not sure what the temperature was set at it was in a cool down. It was warm to the touch, when i noticed the mistake. Thank goodness nothing got ruined, however when i tried it the flavor was so much stronger. Would warmer juice produce stronger flavor? Should i run out and patent heated tanks.... I guess i cant now since I placed the concept in a public forum...lol But being serious, does warmer juice produce more flavor?
  4. When one upgrades to higher wattage devices/ sub ohm, should one lower the nic level of the juice? Does the nic level hit harder to the throat at the higher watts? To me it seems the hit is harder.
  5. ya im enjoying the rounded edge, the total square box just didnt feel right to me..not just yet... i been flipping between 12 and 15 w seeing what i like better. i will say i was debating the eleaf istick.30w. i liked how it fealt in the hand and how it looked, i figured the ipv will last longer over a unit with a fixed battery. but it has moved onto my wish it.
  6. ok thanks all went with the mini.... started with the 0.5 ohms throw away coils, will use rda but need to set it up. didnt get the vamo but ended up getting the ipv mini ,,,, it seems for my current needs the 22mm base fits more devices in a stream line look versus the 25 mm sub tank.
  7. Kanger Tech Sub Tank Mini IPV Mini 5-30w silver I2 Nitecore Charger 2 Samsung 18650 batteries pineapple express, root beer, red bull juices
  8. I am leaning towards the mini but reading the specs now i realized the sub tank handles organic cotton coils, upgraded dual coils, dual coils sub ohm coils but listed for the mini is says organic cotton coils..... Im sure its in error the mini should handle the same coils as the sub unless it is due to space.
  9. Ya im down to 1 mg of nic but i think im vaping more than before.
  10. if you got a good fluke, no need for another ohm reader .... for me there one of the best
  11. for some reason i can't seem to get the video, just going via picture. I agree many assumptions to consider: did he use precision (<2% tolerance), high wattage ceramic resistors Why did he add a switch which adds a load, instead of three individual paths of resistance Accuracy of meters and were all connectors calibrated out but then again do we need a grenade to take out an ant hill or one of my favorite sayings is measure with a micrometer, mark with a chalk, cut with ax
  12. the point is that i have mixed, feelings about it. I like either way and cant determine it. Im sure in 2 months i will have both; its the only way i see how i can justify a box mod purchase. Come to think of it; the money saved with analogs banner should have a subtraction for money spent on Vape.equipment.. .
  13. Ok So i decided to go with the Vamo V7 40w mod. I was told its like the V5 so its 22mm round. Now i was leaning towards the KT SubTank but its 25 mm base and the V7 mod is 22 mm. Now i can use the ring that tapers down, but i think it will still look top heavy. The sub tank mini is 22mm wide, which to me would give a nice stream line look. But the mini doesn't give the capacity of the sub tank a difference of 1.5ml. Now that means more unscrewing filling and screwing back on. Stuck on this one. HMM is there a mod that 25mm wide ...lol What do my fellow VT'sr prefer... stream line look or more juice capacity. Perhaps some pics of both would be cool to see.
  14. How do you think it would look with a kangerTech sub tank on it. It is 25 mm wide. I like tube style but has to have a clean line look.
  15. DAM!!! Im glad i read this before i pulled the trigger on the v7. I am trying to get specs on it but cant find anything.
  16. In a very rough explanation; am sorry about the wording, English is my second language. If anyone can translate italian i would be happy to explain it that way or just look up KIRCHOFF'S laws. Basically one would need to know the voltage potential right before the load. take that potential and subtract it from the source potential. this will give voltage drop up to source. Then do it after load and at load. Voltage total = Voltage potential till load + Voltage drop on load(coil)+Voltage potential after load. The sum of the voltage potential before load and after load is what the voltage drop of the device would be. yes its over kill.and fluctuating magnetic fields aren't being considered ... and assumption that the electric charge (Q) remains constant..lol jeeze now i need to vape
  17. when he measured the 4.7 it was power source (battery) unloaded. When he attached the atty to the battery it was now under load. His test is somewhat valid just need a few more steps to make it accurate. he should have but a white ceramic load on it so you get current draw.. then put the atty on and see what the total drop was. But then put in the tolerance of the meter used and it all gets lost in the wash.
  18. The good news here is that you only lost a few tanks, it sucks but it could have been worse. Nice job Tug, it shows the members of this forum are nothing but class acts.
  19. im trying to figure out how the new kanger sub in either mode would look like on this unit. Can't find any dimensions.
  20. Does any one have any experiences with this unit? I like the price and that its tube style.
  21. Welcome, Welcome...... I was in your exact spot just a month ago. GOOD LUCK, So far it is working for me. IMHO, you picked a great forum, there are many wonderful informative members here.
  22. Hmmm... maybe a DIY juice maker setup. My problem is picking which one: mech mod vs box Kanger sub tank vs sub tank mini
