I also enjoy the art work on mech. Ordering an emma 1:1 clone and decided to get the ancient dragon mech also. I do love my hcigar nemesis, just need to find magnets for it. My friends seem to love their fuhattans. Now I was going to get the EMMA Mech from the original designer, you know award the company who put in the R&D dollars into it. But i contacted a friend in the Philippines and was surprised what you can pick up an original for. SO basically I have to pay 5x cause im in the USA or Europe. I want to reward the designer not a third party person. But it is true for me also that my work horse is my regulated device.....to make it a comparison to my analog days. cigaretts = regulated device cigar time = mech mod

interesting power station you got going there. I have been happy with the intellicharger i2 for office and i4 for home. Wish it could be used in my car, not sure if i want to plug a rectifier in my car. But i do use the pass thru charge on my mini ipv when i need to. I use sony for my mech mod and samsung in my mini ipv

i agree with multi tanks. I can kick myself' never thought of dedicating tanks to a flavor group...thats a good idea. I also brought a dripping atomizer to pour the little left over juice in if its a worthy juice.

First i have to say that i am a newbie so these are just how I do things, There members here who know thier !@#$ and i would take thier words over mine.My answers only reflect how i do it. By the way: that mech looks spot on to me, i like it as much as the emma mod. I am sure it will look even sweeter once it ages. Dam this hobby is addictive and harmful to your savings. 1. when changing flavors do you just pull out the wicking and replace it? or can you run it under water to rinse out the old flavor. If you still have your cotton in place i wouldnt soak it in water, and being honest i am not one who likes to mix their electrical parts with waters. But i have seen folks clean thier coils that way. Once your have used of most of your juice i would just drip the new flavor on, first hit or two might have a mixed flavor. 2. How do you know what guage wire to run? I am not sure what guage came with my Little Boy, but they were at .25 to .3 ohms once I installed both in the deck. all depends on the space your atty has and what type of coil you like to build and resistance target. 3. The shop I bought this thing at said the battery he sold me would be good down to .1 ohms. How can i tell if this is true? I dont want this thing to vent in my face... there may have been a misunderstanding here. i have never heard a battery rated to a certain resistance. 4. the vapor is rather hot with this thing. If i build new coils and make them around .75 ohm that should cool it down some as well as make the battery last longer right? Earthling is right as usual 5. If I get bored can I slap my Nautilus tank on top of this mod? I know that kinda defeats the purpose of a mod, but hey why be normal. I just want to be safe. yes, and no it doesnt defeat the purpose of a mech IMHO

When i energized the coils pre-wic, they glow from center outwards, and then glow evenly with no sound that can be heard. There are no gaps between windings. Maybe i shoudl also mention the coils are not perpendicular to the base. They rise from the center up, meaning the coil is at its heights near the end posts. SOme sort of chimney effect???? Good question with the dry hit..... i have not had a dry hit. i have taken taken 4 to 5 deep hits with no dry hts, typically i drip at that point 3 drips per coil. i do not see any burn marks on the cotton, of course can only say that with the cotton i can see. Asked a freind about it and he is curious why it doesn't insanely "spit". His thought is from the inside bottom of coil is getting wet cotton top part is gettng little cotton. His other thoery is if its vaping dont worry about it....lol

ya i dont have one particular, i change them up. But it seems i am enjoying the fruity ones more and more each day.

i am leaning more towards a whistle sound. im going to swap out the wic and try again and see if the results changes in any form.

So i built 2 10 loop coils using gplat 26 guage wire. Total resistance is 0.45 ohms , my Ipv mini reads it at 0.4ohms. I am using Japanese organic cotton as the wic. The rda is a doge and i am using it on a nemesis mech mode with a sony vtr 4 battery. I have dripped 50/50, 60/40 and 70/30 juices on it. I have checked all screws on the deck and they are snug. The problem is, when i use the setup, i get a new wierd sound. I would say it sounds like a whistle maybe a sizzle sound. The sound even lasts a milli second or two after i release the switch. I checked the voltage cuts off when i release the switch. I have had the cap off the doge, and when powered i am not getting to much spit (not sure if thats the correct term for it). I am wondering if I used to much or to little cotton? When i inserted the cotton i made sure i was able to go back and forth with it without moving the rda deck but feeling a lite resistance. i never used gplat before, is this normal with this type of wire? I do get vapor from it, but what is making the sound? It just weird to me.

i can only say what worked for me and that starter kit was a kanger tech evod 2. you get two tanks and two batteries and 5 coils. it was easy to operate light weight and fit in your pocket. I would also say it was discrete enough one can sneak a puff most anywhere. I started at 18mg of nicotine in my juices and now down below 6mg When i started i didn't go cold turkey, what i did was use the vape until i extremely needed a cigarette(like with my morning coffee). in two weeks i went from two packs a day to dam this thing tastes awful. It felt good when i started putting out the cigarette half way through.

yup that is the one. I definitely want to make this my next major vape related purchase.

So i cam across some mechs that are absolutely pieces of pure art. The one that i am falling in love with is the EMMA MOD by Philtronic. The price is holding me back from pulling the trigger to purchase it, but it definitely will be on my next purchase. What are some of your favorite designs you seen?

IMHO... i am enjoying my sub tank mini, all coils measure what they claim they are. I still have not played with the rba deck yet, the prefab coils are working fine. I have gotten a dry hit if i take a lonnngggg drag. I am using it on mech mod and ipv mini. The sub mini has become my work horse tank, looks well on what ever i attach it too. I am a bit jealous that the sub tank can top fill and mini can not. so i give it a 4.5/5.0. The atlantis is on my wish list

didnt mean to indicate watts as an measurement of temperature, what i was referring to is the heat produced at said wattage due to the law of the Conservation of Energy. of course i should have stated the same type material used on the coil to eliminate the efficiency factor.

Using a regulated device, isnt the temperature of 12w the same no matter what the resistance? now of course the length of the coil varries depending on selected resistance (assuming equal gauges). So is it accurate to say that the longer coils burn more juice?
