  1. Have you tried anti-seizures meds like Topamax? BP meds do work for some but not all. The pain relievers can cause rebound migraines, especially narcotics. Topamax does have the side effect of weight loss, for some people lol. Ask about it, also Neurontin, and a few others have been used but can cause weight gain.
  2. The snow seems to be over but the wind is still blowing. Both of us are home today so that's a rare treat. I got my Mark Mod, eGo 1000mah click and eGo T atomizer yesterday. I'm ok with juices but I got an email from Jeffery and he has overnighted me some juice! I'm so blessed to have such good caring friends I can't say enough good things about Jeffery and Laurin, words do not do it justice. Not to mention that between them and Mark the timing was perfect!
  3. Oh post #666 let's fix that! I got a Mark Mod, in zebra wood with a color changing LED, and an eGo T and 1000mah eGo battery. So that gives me 2 900mah eGos, 1 1000mah eGo, 2 510's, a 6V, a Mark Mod with 2 batteries for it, and a 901 smart pcc with 2 batteries. I think I will be ok. Now I only have about 50-60mLs of juice.........I'll be conservative. LOL
  4. I'm ready for the blizzard! I have 2 packages at the post office which I will pick up on my way to work, don't trust that they will be delivered if it gets really bad. They moved our blizzard warning from 3pm to 11am in our county, should be a day of cancellations, I expect we will close very early and not be able to open tomorrow. YEA! Sometimes you just need a break in the routine and with new toys I can keep myself pretty busy. LOL Hope everyone stays safe, or better yet stay in and vape in your PJs.
  5. I smoked while chewing the gum, I smoked while wearing the patch. I smoked on Zyban, no effect at all, and Chantix made me sick. Got my first ecig and I haven't had a single smoke, haven't even wanted one.
  6. Just to add my 2 cents worth, the eGo is, I think, the most versatile ecig on the market and the easiest to get parts for. It uses a 510 connection and can be used with carts and atomizers, cartomizers, the new Tank system, direct dripping, and there are tons of add ons for it. The 1000mah is now available and you can go up to 24 hours on a charge depending on your vaping habits. It comes in so many colors you can almost match it to your outfits or mood. It's a very solid performer and easy to use, carry and find. I have several types of ecigs but the eGo is my mainstay as it is for so many others. You can't go wrong with it.
  7. The attys on the Blu are awesome, I use them on my eGo with a 306 drip tip. They are little workhorses!
  8. Hot Vapes has the Bombshell kit for $94. Mod,battery, charger, atty, matching drip tip and case. Basic and very tough.
  9. Did you contact the supplier you purchased it from? Contact them ASAP
  10. Emails sent. I got 11 instant replies which kind of irritated me. Good Luck NYers, Any of us could be next.
  11. The eGo has much better battery life and you can use the 510 attys etc. with it. You will want an analog from time to time, try to vape through it if you slip and have a cig don't beat yourself up. Focus on how many you have avoided and keep vaping. All good things take time, relax enjoy the experience, try new flavors, you will get there.
  12. It is my understanding that VG is a bit too thick to work as well as PG or mix. I would imagine that your personal favorites would be really good in the tank. I have a few I am saving back to use when my tank arrives. I will be be trying all the combos to find the perfect viscosity.
  13. I've been saving them for her but I don't think I can keep up :thumbsup:I'm bring mine to the WCV meet for her. Thanks Snubber you are a sweetheart.
  14. The MAP tank is cool but bulky, the eGo tank is more subtle doesn't hold as much juice but you won't get so many strange looks.
  15. Try a little of that Mentha in the Grape Soda, my hubby loves that combo.
  16. Nice to meet you tonight in chat. I'm sure you know by now how great everyone is on this forum. Please come back often and ask any questions you like, we'll answer. Enjoy your tea, mine's hitting the spot.
  17. I take it this is only international orders not domestic?
  18. So glad to hear that you are coming to the WCV meet next month! I'll bring those caps for you. You will get to try so many flavors I know you will find a few that appeal to you. Your husband, well he might find a lot:) You know the eGo T might work very well for you. We can talk at the meet, I should have mine by then and you can see if it's workable and easy.
  19. I'm glad to hear your grand-daughter is doing better. That's a scary situation. My daughter's name is Jen, she is 31 and has Cystic Fibrosis. She has a PICC line and is home now on IV antibiotics, she doesn't do well at relaxing but she has no choice. The prayers and well-wishes from my VT family are greatly appreciated.
  20. I love mine so much I ordered one for Tom
  21. Thanks everyone, no PICC today but she's exhausted from being poked and prodded and questioned all night. We just got home after making sure she got a good meal and was more settled in. She is much less grumpy tonight. The drive up tomorrow should be quicker, no snowing. Hour and a half up and 45 minutes home, she looked really tired tonight so we didn't stay too long. She's getting her spunk back though and that's good.
  22. Chin up you are right about the Karma. I was really touched that despite how horrible your day was going you stopped and felt compassion for someone less fortunate. I believe that things have a way of happening if you just look for them, like the homeless guy. It shifted your whole perspective. I wouldn't back down, right is right.
  23. Just got home daughter is finally in hospital at University of Chicago. I rode up in ambulance with her and got her settled. She's not a happy camper, just found out she's having a PICC line placed tomorrow but that means she can come home sooner with IV antibiotics. This has been a very long weekend and she scared me terribly on Friday morning. I'm just glad she's up there and getting the world class care she needs. Tom and I will go up tomorrow after work to see her, it's only 45 minutes from here.
  24. Chris I hope your little one feels better soon! We've all been there done that but your tag for this pic is priceless! Best wishes for a quick recovery(for you both).
  25. I got it too! Can't wait till it arrives!
