thanks brian... i went to the website and i believe it's a few bucks cheaper to buy the battery and the unit seperate. how long do these batteries last... on average...?!?!?! i know mah stands for "miliampiers per hour" how does voltage affect that if anyone knows

Sometimes you have to break in atomizers. Cartriages are okay to use... you won't get too much vapor if it's a brand new atomizer, that's one thing to consider, and if the juice is PG, or a thing i'd do is wash my atty then tried to use it, wouldn't work to well... it has to be dry, except the heating element of course

Okay, i read your original post, my comment is, depends what you want out of your vaping experience, people want difference things. I am after just vapor production and of course flavor. I tried quiet a few things to achieve that. The thing I don't like about direct dripping is you have to do it often, and it takes away from your vaping experience, that's just how i feel about it, some may feel different about it. If you're after what I am, i can tell you what has worked so far for me in the terms of vapor production. For maximmum vapor production on an ego, you do need a low resistance atomizer. Since I don't like direct dripping, I recommend a low resistance cartomizer. You also need a good vapor production juice, which is VG based juice, the more VG in the juice the more vapor, cloudsofvapor.com sells VG based juice, so do many other sites. I made the mistake when i was expiermenting, I put PG based juice in to a low reistance cartomizer. That burned up the juice extremely quickly and gave me a burn taste. I thought it was the cartomizer (it was the first time i ever used a low resistance cartomizer), so i gave up on them for a bit. Then I realized it was the juice not the cartomizer. I tried the ego mega low resistance atomizer, I didn't have much luck with it, it would be really leaky. It could have been just me, the way i uused it. The nice thing about cartomizers is if you have different flavors, like peach, and banana, you can fill one cartomizer with peach, and another one with banana, so you're not mixing the flavors. If you want to change flavors while direct dripping, it kind of mixes for a bit, which i don't like. What I am going to do, I can get mega cartomizer (ones that hold up to 2ml's of juice) and I am going to buy a joker soon, which is variable resistance, meaning you can change the voltage from 3.7 up to 6+ volts. If you get those 2ml cartomizer, and crank up the voltage so the atomizer behaves like a low reistance atomizer, you have a big cartomizer with tons of fluid and a lot of vapor. Hope this help

ones that fit in to a joker... with charger what do you mean particular type? can you please explain, never got in to batteries untill now.

Just wondering where i can get these type of batteries, can i just get them at radio shack and a charger for these batteries?

it's a cartomizer, I saw some guy cleaning his low resistiance atomizer just by burning the hell out of it... I tried to do the same with the carto, and it caught on fire, literally... So no more dealing with that carto.

okay, i meant just boil the metal part, removing the stuff where you put the liquid in, it was filled big time, actually over full. So it wasn't an issue of low amount of juice. Yes it's a low resistance carto. And someone else also pointed out, it might be the juice, i did do some direct dripping with my cafe expresso flavor... it started to taste burnt and had no idea why. I think its because i was laying on my back, and the juice wasn't hitting the atty. but i'll check that again, i'll check my juice... and if that doesn't work, then like someone said "sometimes you just get a bad carto"

So what should i do with it, boil it or what? I know people talk about doing that to clean them...

okay, here's something i didn't know about direct dripping before i got my drip tip... for a low resistance atomizer, you DRIP 2x's take 6 hits, and drip again...... THATS REALLLLLLLLLLY ANNOYING.... today i received some cartos, they seem amazing. But i got one, that tastes like complete crap, I think it's burn or something, i am currently in the middle of changing it as i am typing this reply. SOOOOOOO i'd go with carto's, all my other cartos are fine, i'll just boil this one... out

okay thanks guys, yeah i am just going to finish my current battery, and then try the other one... (because i am not sure which battery i am using right now) the one that had the minor glitch, or the other one. So i'll go through both of them, if one acts funky again, i'll contact the supplier. thanks for your help everyone

I just got it yesterday, got my ego, with 2 batteries. Yes I can charge it up, i am using a battery now, not sure if it's the one that acted funky, or maybe it just wasn't charged all the way... It was in the charger the light was red, then after a few hours the light turned green, then I took it out, started to vape with it, lasted about an hour if that, the light blinked alot (the button light on the battery) and it stopped working, so i charged it again... not sure if it's okay now or what, i could be using it now, because i am nto sure which battery i am using...

okay... The battery, I charged it up, the light turned green... i used it for about an hour, and the button light flickered like 20xs and wouldn't turn off anymore.... using a low resistance atty too. I know they drain your battery quicker, but an hour? (it was full too(the battery)). Eliquid, I got some cheesecake, and some... mint and chip, it was very very good. But then after a little bit, it just turns NASTY, makes me sick. The quality doesn't go down, still same flavor, it's not burnt or anything. It's just the same taste as the first hit, i think it's like i got sick of it... I think this is common with these type of flavors? What are some good flavors that don't do this? i'd assume more of the fruity flavors...

thanks, i put some drops on the atomizer, tastes alot different. not as crappy.

The subject says what i am trying to do? So do I just wash out the lint thingy, or boil them or what?? I got cherry ejuice in the mail.... tastes like complete crappy beer. I think it's cause I need to wash out the cartriage first, is this true or not?

thanks and forgot to mention, I am using a blucig untill my ego arrives. And what i meant in my first post is "i took out the cartriage out of the xhale2 brand" and installed it inside the casing for my blucig.

Chris recommended a cartomizer for me when I am on the go, so i am not constantly dripping, on the go. But I heard bad things about them, that the flavor doesn't last long. But I have to see for myself. I'd perfer a "mega low resistance cartomizer" if they even make them.... So any recommendations would be helpful.

I ordered my eliquid and i have been waiting over 2 weeks to get it, really really bad service. from "epuffer.com" I ordered my eliquid and my ecig at the same time. I had my ecig for a few weeks now, and my liquid still isn't here, and I am out of cartriages.... So what I did is i picked up the ones from 7-11 "xhale02" brand... and took out the cartridges out of the casing and put them in my ecig... So if you're in that situation i was in, you can do what I did.

Depends on how you hit the ecig, You have to take a LONGGGGG SLOWWWWWW inhalation. You should be able to breathe in and out of your nose when inhaling the ecig.

yeah a guy did a review about it, i don't know which site he's from, but he knows his stuff, he tests out alot of ecigs, he said the battery life is 45mins or so.

i heard the battery on these things last 45mins......... that's really crappy, is it true?(if anyone knows)

I am interested in the ego, question is where to get one? I seen a few joye, and some other ones... Which one is legit? I want a drip tip with.... one of those XL(extra large) atomizers. I noticed on the joye XL atomizers, the tip looks like a tip off a... black and milds cigar. So i don't see how a drip tip can work with that, but I know it's possible. Also want a good place to buy eliquid. Thanks for all your help...
