Very cool!!!
-
Thanks for all the help and good info. This hobby would be impossible for me without forums like this and of course YouTube, lol!!!!
-
You are totally correct, I have noticed the same thing. I ordered a few juices from MT. BAKER and paid for 4 extra flavor shots for each flavor I ordered. I have read good things about their juice. I reckon I will find out in a week or so.
-
Sure it would, but with the light, I would remember to turn the thing off.
-
If I leave my VTR on accidentally, will it continue to drain the battery? I wouldn't think so because nothing should be requiring power, but I wanted to ask to be sure. It is very easy to forget to turn it off, if they would have used a small light on it that would stay lit every time the power is on would act as a reminder to turn it off, just a thought.

2 day old EMOW battery failure
NCHornet replied to NCHornet's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Her brother bought for her and he is stationed in ND and we are in NC. I don't want him having to deal with this, I may just buyer another battery to have as a back up. My son has a very stressful job in the USAF, he is a Crew Chief on the B-52 STRATOFORTRESS, ONE BAD AZZ Jet and it has the longest history of flying than any other aircraft that I am aware of. I stand next to a BUFF and just stare at it and wonder how in the heck can this thing possibly fly, lol!!!!! -
My daughter received the EMOW kit for Christmas. She used it lightly for 2 days and then put the battery on the charger overnight. When you screw it on the charger the lights around the fire button light up different colors as well when you unscrew it. But the battery won't turn on, I have tried one click, 2, 3, 5, multiple hits for 10 seconds and nothing. I took it to a local vape shop and they tried multiple different chargers but nothing. I ended up buying her a new battery. I have emailed Kanger multiple times but they won't respond. I have read where they had issues with early versions, but haven't found anything that will correct the issue. I feel Kanger owes my daughter a new battery, but obviously they don't feel the same. Is there anything else I can try or is it simply DOA? Thanks NCH

Thanks for the advice. I put the Nautilus on and I did taste a bit more flavor, but just a tad. I have been doing my own research and it seems there are lots of folks like Dianna and I. I will try a lower oh coil in the next couple days. I also learned that if you go to places that make their own juice and mix it up after you order it, some say the taste will improve if you just let it sit for a week or two. I am going to order a larger bottle of this Banana Cream and let it sit for awhile and see if there is a difference. Also this isn't like Coke or Dr.Pepper, cinnamon from store A may taste totally different than store B, so you need to find a shop locally that uses components that give the flavor you desire, or like me, you will need to find a online retailer that can do this for you. I will try and remember to post back if I find a solution that works for me. Later NCH

Have you Made the Switch AND Cut to Zero?
NCHornet replied to JohnnyFog's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I quit cigs 20+ years ago and it was one of the best things I ever did for my health. I am new to vaping and was worried that if I used juice with nic I might want to start smoking again, and nothing is worth that. I am not the type that can have a cig now and then, it's either none, or 2 packs a day, Lucky non filtered, there is no in between. I have one juice with 6mg and the others are all 0. No cravings, so I am happy, just wish I could taste more of the flavors. -
Got my VTR yesterday and I am very happy with my choice in the VTR. I ordered a couple different tanks and coils with it. First I used the IClear 30S that it came with. It produces good vapor but not a lot of flavor. It is a firmer draw, it isn't sucking in surrounding air the way others do. This morning I switched to the ProTank 2 and OMG does this thing vape. I can tell the draw is easier, I can feel it sucking in far more air than the IClear 30S. I think the Protank 2 comes with a 2.2 coil IIRC, but I also purchased 1.6 and 1.8 coils for it that I haven't tried. I also have the Nautilus with 1.6 and 1.8 coils but it is still new in the box. So I am getting more than enough vapor, but where is the flavor? I don't have a lot of juices right now, I have a sample pack from WordUp coming next week. Right now I just have some ejuice that I bought from a local vendor, they claim it is 50/50 but I have no idea if this is true, it is also 0 nic, which I prefer as I am not quitting smoking. I was told as a general rule to take the ohm value and double that for your volts, so 2.2 ohm is being vaped at 4.4 volts. I have tried vaping from 7 watts up to the max of 15, but didn't notice much difference in flavor, but there was a difference in the size of the cloud, lol!!! . I have also tried different Volt setting but no diff in flavor. I have a coffee flavor and a cinnabun flavor and to me there isn't much difference in taste between the two and I am not getting a strong flavor at all. I don't know if it is the juice, the new components, or my settings, so any advice would be appreciated. I watch videos on youtube and people are bragging about the great flavor with this or that juice, but I am not seeing much of a difference and no strong flavors at all. Yesterday I went to a local B&M and had them mix up some cinnamon and banana cream, I even paid a few more bucks for extra shots to make it even stronger, but I still have the same issue. I can tell a slight flavor of cinnamon, but it isn't like a piece of Big Red in my mouth. With the banana I taste a slight sweetness, but nothing worth getting excited about. I do have lots of chronic health issues and take a lot of prescription drugs each day, maybe this is the reason I can't taste much? As for the VTR, I am very satisfied with it, now I want to taste what others are tasting, lol!!! I may try the Nautilus later today as many say it really brings out the flavor. Thanks for any help.

Correction, I have been looking at to many videos, lol!!! Yes, I will need to use the adapter, it's all good. Thanks for clearing that up.
-
Are you sure about that? I swear I have seen multiple people post pics of the Nautilus dropping in just the ICLEAR 30S. Either way it don't matter, the reviews were so good I wanted to try the Nautilus.

I already bough the VTR, I actually bought quite a bit more, lol!!!! ITaste VTR in SS Extra I Clear 30S 5 Coils for the 30S 1- ProTank 2 5 - Coils for the ProTank 2- Needles used for filling the tanks VTAR VC2 Charger AC Plug for the VC2 1 - Aspire Nuatilus 2- Coils for the Nautilus, 1 - 1.6 ohm and 1 - 1.8 ohm 2 - Sanyo 18650 2600 Mah Batteries 1 - Case to hold the batteries The top portion was purchased from Word Up and the lower was from litecigUSA. I wanted to purchase it all from Word Up but they didn't have a very good selection of batteries and chargers and I wanted a good charger, Buy Once, Cry Once, you know what I mean, lol!!!! Did I overlook anything major? I purchased the different tanks because I heard that bottom coils feel different from top coils. I bought the Nautilus tank because I read really good things about them and they are suppose to be a great match for the VTR. I also went back to Word Up and purchased a sample pack of juices. I can't recommend them enough, best prices that I found any where, the VTR was on sale for $53.00 with free shipping, other places wanted $120 and Yes, Word Up is a licensed distributor for the VTR, I already checked all that out. Looking forward to it all being here on Friday!!!! I think the VTR will do me just fine, if not I will deal with it then. I only wanted a unit with a replacable battery and not a fixed unit, it worksbest for me and my needs.

You'll poke your eye out with that thing, lol!!!! It is just amazing at how this hobby is changing so fast!!

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome, my brother lives in Calabasses and we grew up in Burbank. Finally left CA in 1996 and it was the best thing I have done. But enough on that. Hope you have a great day,

New member from NC and just wanted to say hello. Looking to get into vaping. I have decided what I would like to try unless someone can talk me out of it. Itaste VTR Nautilus Tank Pro Tank II A couple 18650 batteries Charger Spare coils And of course Juice I know the VTR is heavy but this is for home use and won't bother me. I prefer a replaceable battery over something that has to be charged and you are dead in the water until that happens. I can always have a spare charging. Tanks aren't an issue as the VTR comes with an adapter that will allow any 510 tank, tip, etc to fit, although it will be a little taller. If someone can recommend something else I am all ears. I hope to be able to help other newbies once I learn a bit more. Hope everyone has a great day. If anyone knows of any good vape store in Winston Salem to Mount Airy please let me know. Take Care NCH

I should have followed the link in the first reply, took me right to it, thanks again. I am still reading more and watching reviews on youtube, may order one tonight. Unless I find something better for my needs. I hope everyone has a great day.

Good deal, although I am never going to sell my 2000 PSD F350 4X4, CC, LB, DRW, I have had her since 2003 and bought it with 21k ON IT, IT STILL ONLY HAS 120k and have done quite a few mods. My son has a 1996 OBS that is close to 500HP that thing is quick!!!!!!! I developed the first CCV Mod for our trucks way back in 2003 and still sell them today. Every PSD can benefit from doing the CCV Mod and dumping it out the bottom isn't the answer, lol!!!! Sorry, back to vaping, The weight isn't an issue and I went to the VT Store but I didn't see the VTR. I always like to support forum sponsors but first I have to find one, lol!!!!
-
Thanks for the welcomes and info. I will be sure to check out the VT Store. I should have mentioned that I am disabled so I doubt I will be taking it out and about with me. The weight isn't an issue either, I need a good arm work out, lol!!! I liked the replaceable batteries so I can always have one charged and ready to go. I am very familiar with the 18650 batteries and the like as I also am into modding flashlights. But before I buy I will look at everything and all the units you have recommended. Thanks so much, if y'all ever need help with Powerstroke engines I am in your man, if I don't know I know who does. Thanks again for all your replies. God Bless NCH

I am new to vaping and would like to buy once, cry once, if you know I mean by that. It probably won't happen because things are changing every day, but for general moderate vaping will this do the job and last? The pricing is all over the place on these, I have seen them as high as $120 and as low as $49.99, can anyone recommend a vendor to purchase from? If you would recommend something else please let me now. I know I will have to buy batteries, charger and extra coils is there anything specific I need to know about these things? I assume it is best to buy the coils direct from IClear, correct? Thanks in advance for the help. NCH
