Hi there!

I'm still new to vaping (going into my 3rd week now) but from what I have seen all over this board, EVERYONE does it a little bit differently. For me, I BEGAN with smoking about 3-5 analogs a day. But I wanted to get it down to ONLY 2 every day (one with coffee in the morning and one after dinner at night). I was getting tripped up during the day when I would get on phone calls. I wanted the ecig to use during those phone calls. I never intended to quit smoking all together. I love it too much.

But without even trying, that's exactly what happened. (still freaks me out). I have not had an analog in 2 weeks now. I tried one last week and OMG I sputtered and choked it was so nasty. Threw the rest away.

However, that's but just one outcome. I have seen plenty of others on this board who have smoked for many years, sometimes 2-3 packs a day who have now cut down to 5 or so a day and they are just fine with that. Some quit analogs all together but use vaping at the same nic strength as when they smoked. Some have managed to get their nic down to 0 and STILL vape because it's just fun. (that's where I want to get to now).

I think rather than thinking of it as a "smoking cessation" product, thinking of it as a "smoking REPLACEMENT" product makes more sense. Smoking cessation has one goal: quit smoking. Smoking replacement has so many more options and variations available to you, therefore, more chance of "success" because YOU are in control of what the goal is.

The bottom line is about what YOU want to achieve, not what you think you are "supposed" to achieve by vaping. That's freedom!

I just got my package in the mail today from Vapor Bomb. I love getting packages! Right now I am trying their Fire And Ice juice. I have the 50/50 PG/VG mix at 30mg nic. I kind of knew what to expect going into this one. I knew it was a combination of their Cinnabomb and Menthol. This sounded like a decent mix to me. A lot of e juice places are starting to have this combo, but this is the first time I am trying it. Even though I kind of knew what to expect, this juice has exceeded those expections. Just awesomeness in liquid form this here juice! On inhale, the first thing I get is a cooling sensation and a tingling in my nose from the menthol. I am really diggin' this. Shortly afterwards, I get a slight burn on my lips from the cinnamon. Nothing too hot. It just lets you know that it is there. On exhale, I get this really nice combo of the cinnamon and menthol flavors mingling with one another. Its as if they had been dancing in my lungs. I have found another favorite and a flavor I could easily vape all day. I have attached a link to the juice so you can see what I am talking about.

Hi, yep Dayvape said it well! Early on I had difficulties using all VG, same thing, slow on the draw, and it wicked gummed-up my attys. I get powerful vapor with some all PG liquids. I would never, ever use all VG in a carto. To me, it would be like pouring syrup into it. This is just my personal experience with VG.

80% PG - 20% VG is pretty good.

For me... I always go for the least amount of VG I can, or all PG. I use cartos full time so I'm much better off using the thinnest PG based liquids so they soak in and keep up with my vaping. I've had to use VG based juice before in my cartos and I really have to vape much slower to let it get caught up and soaked back in. Even with 100% PG I still find I can power vape too fast and start to get that dry/crispy taste. Then I know it's time to slow down... So, yes, I would guess that you may be doing that with your attys/cartos as well... especially if you do all VG or a mix of VG when you vape. It's just too thick and it takes more time to wick where it needs to be. Personally, I think you could get away with a 70/30 mix... or even better yet a 80/20 mix! It doesn't take but a bit of VG to add more vapor into the equation. Try cutting back on the VG and see how it works. I still get plenty of vapor/flavor with 100% PG that I use most of the time also... so I don't think you need to worry about that.

you have to do two things to cartos to get them with that "oh so fresh" feeling

the best is to use the squeeze bulb trick. it's the lil blue squeeze thing you suck snot from babies noses or i think they use them for ears also.
chop off enough of the pointy part to be able to fit it into either the opening of your atty (for 808/901) or enough for the threads of a 510 to fit into.
suck up water into the rest of the bulb and fit it onto the cart. squirt, fill, squirt, fill, squirt fill. till there is no trace of smell or color.
with a 510 you can usually fit the thing into the opening also if you cut it right.. do that way also.

once done you can boil if you want, i don't as cartos have a paper with glue on them most times.

after the cleaning stage, you can blow the carto out with the bulb facing it open ended down.
then hold the thread end and whip it at the ground like your trying to fling out the water at the floor.

to dry, i put mine where hot air will be blowing on it, like the side of my pc that spits out crazy heat or behind my xbox while its on.
if you want you can even throw them in the back of a car window and let the sun bake them dry.

boiling isn't really needed.

I have extra atties cartos and batteries and enough juice to last me 3 months if needed.

Brief summery? The FDA wants to claim it as drug device so that the big pharma can monnopolize the industry. They don't like mom and pop stores rising up everywhere and stimulating the economy. They want control.
Hopefully the next person reading will highlight the quotes and put them in their post.

I just read the new rules re: discussions of nicotine liquid strengths and wanted to share a story with you all. Nicotine is indeed a poison (yes-we all know) We are all human (again we know right?) Well-I have 3 small children and even though I would never purchase liquid at any higher dose than 36mgs (really it's enough of a savings for me as I like 12-18mgs) Anyway, last night I got my new mega cartomizers and was filling them on the counter-I had some major spillage and cleaned it up with my paper towel, my kids then 4 hours later got out some ice cream to eat and all of the sudden my daughter said "my tongue is burning" and she went and rinsed her mouth out, she still felt burning after and I had been thinking WTH is going on, and remembered that I had filled my carto there. My oldest son had set the big spoon down on the counter (where I had filled the carto and wiped it up with a papertowel) and my daughter had picked up the spoon and licked it.

The point is-we love our nicotine-but it's strong, and now I will wipe up all my spills with a dish cloth and soap, AND thank goodness it was only 11 mgs.

We really are becoming a nanny state and a nation of whiners! The same kind of uproar went over Alcohol Energy drinks too. Targeting kids, what's in it, whats the effects, dangerous, ban, ban, ban.

Im sure you didnt offend anyone, I'll admit too, he sucks! This whole banning of e cigs is going to turn a lot of people into libertarians, RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012! now this guy is standing up for something real!
