I had the protank1 many years ago when they first came out It was a very simple tank I ran on a Provari as a newbie.. That said I can't remember having a problem with it..I took it apart for cleaning regularly, changed coils alot, especially when I was changing flavors..hope the OP figures out how to fix the problem..wish I could help more... Was at my local B&M yesterday and they are worried about a tobacco bill on the Nov ballet..if passed it could add a about a 40% tax increase on all vape products, including juice, sold here in California.. Hi Foo, I always take my tanks apart for cleaning..I like to run each part under hot tap water and pull a paper towel thru the glass tank to dry it.. Same with the drip tip..and of course install either a new coil (TFV8) or new cotton wicks (Griffin, RTA-2 and Gillie) works for me, Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

I've tried other types and different gauges wire in both my Griffin and RTA-2... 24g Nichrome seems to work the best for me.. Nichrome has a slightly higher ramp up than Kanthel given the same gauge.. I get a thick vape and have ran thru about 100mls of juice on this same build..it's still hitting awesome..good luck!
