  1. There is not a "edit profile" available on that page..last thing listed is I'm over 18..oh well..
  2. Also can I edit my profile? I stated I am a male and it says "not telling" under gender..what's up with that? Lol
  3. Hi I'm a new member from CA..Been vaping for about 1-1/2 years now.. I like my vaping hobby and glad to be part of this forum. Thx
  4. if there is sub forums, like a builders corner, cloud chasers corner or a mech mod forum, I cant find them ..oh well...thx
  5. I use the Tapatalk app..makes posting pics and videos super easy..Tapatalk is in the Google play store...just download the free app, register and create a username (not the same username you use here) ..then from the homepage click on forums and search vapor talk... Same app works with all the other forums too! Super easy! Hope this helps, and a sample pic!
  6. How many wraps on what size bit? I might try it in my V2 Stillare if I can get 4-24g wires thru the center post hole..lol
  7. Parallel 26g in 28.5mm Stillare..having fun fogging up my room under the black light vaping it on my BFM..
  8. Edit..after clearing cache I was able to post successfully... Thx
  9. Also a hot button can be because the battery cannot safely supply the power for the load..for instance ohm's law states my dual coil .15 ohm build pulls 28A at 4.2v, so I need a batt rated at least 30A cont to be safe. So I use a batt rated at 35A that is safe for this build and my button does not get hot, nor the tube itself..in fact I have to chain vape it for it to even get warm.. I would also install a inline voltage meter and measure the voltage drop without the atty attached...subtract that reading from what your fully charged batt reads in your digital batt charger, or separate voltmeter..if its more than .2v then I'd replace the switch...top cap pin should be checked too, unless is hybrid. Good luck, and vape safe !
  10. Thought I'd start a thread on posting our clouds.. So guys post'um up! let's see what ya' got (gotta be better than mine) I know I still gotta work on my airy clouds getting thicker, but this was my first build using parallel 26g...lol
  11. I do use the green non-scratch ScotchBrite pads on the single batt contact with a little alcohol that works pretty good..this mod uses a hybrid top cap thus no contact to clean topside..the inside edge of the switch housing and outside edge of the copper button is where the tarnish builds up. Can't fit an eraser down in there otherwise it would indeed be a good choice..same deal cutting a piece of ScotchBrite to fit in there too..appreciate the help..thx
  12. Thanks, but I was asking about cleaning the inside of the copper magnetic switch.. I use NevrDull to clean and polish the tube..
  13. I try not to let the voltage drop beyond the threshold of 3.7v too much..certainly never to 3.2 v... In my 26650 mech mods that still let's me vape all day with .15 ohm builds on a single charge..on the 18650 with the same builds I get a good 7-8 hrs and still have 3.5- 3.7v when I recharge it..hope this helps
  14. I I was fortunate enough to get this XXIX as an early Christmas gift...for those of you that own this all copper mech mod I was wondering what to use to clean the switch safely.. I read everything from acetone to ScotchBrite but I don't think either is good for copper..please advise.. BTW, I'm new to the forum and in fact this is my very first post...thx again
  15. Tried to post and somehow was denied..said I didn't have permission.. I signed-in successfully via Tapatalk... please advise! Thx
