  1. Yup, just a tube, battery and push button.
  2. Possibly apples and oranges, but the Nautilus coils switched to cotton not too long ago. I compared old to new a while back, don't think I posted about it. The older coils seemed to last longer, but the cotton wicked ones have better flavor, IMO. With the Nautilus coils, the easiest way to tell the difference is the holes in the side are about twice as big with the cotton coils.
  3. You can't set wattage and volts independently. You can set one or the other. They are tired together due to Ohm's law, atomizer ohms set the relationship between volts and watts.
  4. I haven't done anything differently, click my bookmark and scroll through to see where the new posts are, clicking the forum then the little blue dot that says there are new posts in the topic. I don't use notifications or follow threads, I just look for new posts. The only change I have noticed is the color.
  5. About every 2 weeks or so is what I average running the kanger .5 coils between 25 and 30 watts.
  6. Not trying to start a scare thread or anything, a friend said he did some research and found "overwhelming info" that Ni coils are very dangerous. I spent an hour or so looking for info myself. I only came up with 1 video and 1 article stating that Nickel "leaches into soft materials" (food, liquid, etc.) that it comes into contact with when heated. I did not find anything at all that said it was safe. Either my research skills suck, or he is exaggerating about the "overwhelming" portion of his info. He is a good guy and means well, but he is the type that latches on to something and won't let go once he makes up his mind. Any way, I would appreciate some links to info on either side of the matter so I can see both sides. I like temp control, I really hope he is mistaken. Thanks
  7. Hope you got it taken care of. Could have been worse, 10-15 gal not too bad.
  8. I have a couple subox mini kits. 70vg/30pg does not wick fast enough for me. I have been using a 60v/40p, and it's borderline for wicking fast enough for me. I Tend to be away from the opportunity to vape for a couple hours at a time, and when I get back to it I tend to chain vape for 10 min or more at a time. I get dry hits if I am not careful, but my use is a bit on the extreme side. I have used a 50/50 mix, but the hit was on the harsh side, but it was consistent. I have tried the 1.2, the 1.5 and the .5 coils, all with the same result altering the power accordingly (I think ). The subtank is awesome in my mind no matter what battery you use, you just have to set it up right for you.
  9. If you can acess sling on a computer, try that before you dump it. I have the same issues with netflix and hulu with my roku. I have been using my laptop hooked to the tv instead of the roku.
  10. Porter House steak? Sounds good. My grill is down, people at the Propane filling spot learned to read, my tanks are out of date.Gotta make a trek to a couple exchange places for new ones.....
  11. When I have ordered stuff from China, it has tracked through Alaska, and through the US. I live in upstate, NY. Go figure, looks like they pick the long way around.
  12. Sounds like it's time to get another backup........
  13. varitube.com has 510 connectors. I haven't tried them myself, but they were recommenced to me by another member here.
  14. With a floating center pin, it's possible manufacturing tolerances and different tank designs don't allow your tank to sit flush. I have an IPV4s (threaded center pin), I set it up for an Ego One, and my Starre tank sat flush and functioned very well. My subtank on he other hand required an adjustment of the center pin. All 3 worked well, but didn't necessarily sit flish on all my mods. I personally won't expect every box to mate up perfectly with every tank.
  15. Copied and pasted from product description of a seller: Main Features: Output power: 7W-30W Removable 18650 battery (not included) Output voltage: 3.6V—7.0V Vaping time counting ( 15S limited protection ) Pass through (can vape while charging) Can build on 0.45-3.0 ohm atomizer Adjustable 510 Pin Ohms reading precision to 0.01ohm Reverse battery protection , no worry about installing battery improperly Left and right mode Magnet back cover, no need to use screwdriver, more convenient Instead of screen lock, it can be turned off Over charge protection Lowest resistance stated is .45, so no the .03 wont work. That is a pretty low resistance, ni200 coils for the subtank are .12, and the ni200 coils for the ego one are .17.
  16. Looks like an ego one tank, I have a mega, I run 60vg/40pg, no leaking issues.
  17. Just put a nickel coil in my subtank mini and spun it on my IPV4s. Flavor is awesome, and chain vaping it doesnt seem to affect it like the standard coils. I will update the progress. If it keeps up like this I will be ordering more subtanks and some packages of nickel coils.
  18. Recent thread, same question. Hope it helps
  19. Clear here, just came in from chasing the coyotes away so my daughter could see the eclipse.Just blacked out totally a few min ago.
  20. I'll leave the battery recommendations to the others, I lke some not so popular cells. But, I have to say the LUC V4 charger is the way to go. I have not tried the new 6 bay charger from efest though. I do Also like my nitecore um20 for use in the work truck, as it's USB.
  21. I find that 40pg/60vg woks well with the horizontal coils, 30/70 doesn't wick fast enough and I burn the cotton, but I tend to let it sit for a while then chain vape for 5 to 10 min. When I got my first subbox, I had an issue with the tank leaking, and found that I had to clean the surface where the o-ring under the coil seals to the base. There was something stuck on the sealing surface, looked like a small piece of o-ring stuck there. I got my wife a subtank mini, and she complained that it leaked all the time, come to find out she had been leaving it in the car while she was at work, they don't like that, lol. And I have yet to get one (granted I only have 3 subtanks) that had a good coil out of the box. My last one wouldn't even wick the juice when tried to prime it.
  22. I've had mine for a month or so and haven't found a way to lock it at a set wattage. I have actually sat down at my desk twice intending to read the manual, but got side tracked.
  23. I don't have a nano, but I have a mini, to my knowledge the only difference is the size.
  24. Luc V4? Will charge 4 at 1 amp or 2 at 2 amps. I love mine.
