  1. If memory serves me correctly the Picco 25 will only fire down to .3 ohm coils.
  2. It is generally not advised to mix battery types in a devise. There are too many variables in the manufacturing process, batteries rated the same by 2 different manufacturers could be vastly different in performance.
  3. Congrats. After almost 6 years of vapong, I have just cut my subohm tanks to 1.5mg, and my ohm-plus tanks to 4ishmg. Working toward that 0mg goal slowly.
  4. For setting up in wattage mode, it's pretty much the same for all mods. For coils under 1 ohm, I start around 10watts and slowly increase until I get a vape I like. You'll get a burnt taste if you go too high, back down half a watt or so and you have the sweet spot for that juice. As an example I run .5ohm coils around 25 watts. Sometimes a little higher sometimes a little lower, depending on the juice. Then there are a few juices I get on occasion that I will run as high as 45 watts. There is no magic setting that a specific mod will run at, just a ball park.
  5. TC not for use with Kanthal on 99% of mods out there.
  6. That's the other thing I do too. I run the defroster at all times to keep the vape off the windshield. The only exception is if the windows are all open.
  7. That's possible, I use paper towels.
  8. I use ArmorAll window cleaner. Takes a bit of elbow grease and a couple doses at one time, but it works for me. Back window of my truck is tinted anyway, I don't bother with it.
  9. It happens, and that is why forums such as this are here. I like my babybeast with the .4ohm coil around 35 watts with a 70vg/30pg juice. It does change a bit depending on the flavor I am using at the time.
  10. To my knowledge, all Smok coils are kanthal, so you should be running in wattage mode. As far as the blinking lights, I am no help, sorry.
  11. For that style battery, have you tried gently prying the center electrode up a bit with a toothpick or something similar? They have a tendancy to get pushed down on those type. You just want to gently pry up a bit around the edges of the center piece of the battery. Just a bit to make it come up.
  12. My guess on the way they come up with the recommended range is a dart board........ I personally have very rarely if ever found the recommended range to work for me. For example, I run my baby beast with the .4ohm coil around 30-35 watts depending on the juice. 40 is too high for me.
  13. Not sure about the calculations, but I run 25-30 watts on my Ipower 80, .5ohm coil. The setting varies depending on the juice I am using.
  14. I wish I had an answer for you, but @christopher should be able to help out on this one.
  15. I don't even have a "favorites" tab. Just the bookmarks, the only place I have seen "favorites" is in IE. It could be that I set up FF years ago, and got rid of the favorites and my settings have stuck through all the upgrades. I just have my bookmarks list set up in categories, and the sites I go to most often are at the top of the categories. I am liking the new version for the most part. I am going to at some point when I can sit down and mess with it try to move all the buttons back to where I have grown accustomed to them.
  16. I'm no doctor, but this coming March will be 7 years of vaping for me. I haven't had any of those issues. I would look else where for your issues.
  17. Welcome.
  18. Welcome to VT.
  19. Priming generally refers to setting up a fresh coil. Putting a few drops on the cotton of the coil before installing it in the tank, or letting a fresh coil sit for a time in a full tank of juice. A combination of the 2 methods can be used as well. Never heard of "priming a coil" repeatedly. Can you elaborate on the process you are using?
  20. Nice, I will have to keep those in mind for a couple of projects I am looking into.
  21. Where did you source the 3s LiPo's? I was not aware that there are any out there that small. Unless that box is a lot bigger than it looks.
  22. Might I suggest changing the name of this section from "Feedback, Help & Requests" to "Site Feedback, Help & Requests"? Seems that from time to time there is a bit of confusion and quite a few "Help it Broke" topics get posted here......
  23. Thanks again Walt, finally ordered the o-rings, and they got here yesterday. Popped them in and back to using the Starre, I love this tank, good clouds and great flavor IMO.
  24. Walt, you're the man!
  25. Long story short, dropped my Starre tank, broke the glass. Found the glass at the local B&M. It went all bad when I unscrewed the tank and the broken glass cut the o-rings. I have e-mailed Freemax, but not too hopeful on an answer. Does anyone know of a place to get the o-rings for this tank? I tried slowtech and sweetvapes, and an internet search all with no luck. I will be trying to find them at Lowes or Ace locally, but they are square rings, and quite small. I am not opposed to regular o-rings that will seal. Any help is greatly appreciated.
