  1. I just got an IPV4s, arrived in the mail Friday. I paired it with an ego one Mega. Running the stock nickel coil, loving the temp control. Solid mod so far, and after actually reading the papers in the box with it the menu is straight forward.
  2. I have had mine for about 2 weeks. I am using the stock coils, not really in to building my own. The only issues I have is the holes in the atomizer are so high above the bottom of the deck that there is a lot of juice in the tank that can't be used. Not really a big deal, but I have been trying new juices, and now after seeing comps smash line, acquired a bottle of who knows what flavors all mixed together. It beats dumping what's in the bottom. The other issue is that every time I refill it floods, it then gurgles and spits for 10-15 hits. I have the black one so there is a line on the chimney where the black stops and it is polished, I guess for the o-ring to seal on, that I keep the liquid below when filling. I have used 50/50, 70vg/30pg and 60vg/40pg, all with the same results
  3. To be honest, I like the look better with out the baloons and such pictured above.
  4. I used a IC30s for over a year on std ego 650 batts. It's a good tank, it should be a good step up for you.
  5. I have a UM-20 that I keep in my work truck. It works great, and I have had no issues with it. My home charger is the LucV4, it's a work horse.
  6. TugBoat, not trying to hijack your thread, but I figured there was no use in having 2 threads for the same topic. Got mine this morning, UPS said weather delays..... Opened up the box, and disassembled the tank as soon as it arrived. Noticed that the airflow base did not want to unscrew easily from the tank. Wiped the treads with a clean cloth and got a lot of black gunk. Proceeded to clean the threads with a qtip and alcohol, followed by a warm water rinse once the qtip was clean after a swab of the treads. Dried it with the wife's hair dryer, didn't want to wait for air dry. No big deal really, just needed to be cleaned. Swapped out the installed .5ohm coil for the 1.5 ohm, and tried to reassemble. No go, the threads wouldn't engage properly, swapped back to the .5 coil, same issue. Pulled the coil out and the tank threaded together fine. After messing with it for 10-15 min, I found that if I backed the coil out about 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn from tight it would screw together no problem. I am guessing that either the chimney or the airflow base isn't machined quite straight. No big deal as long as the juice doesn't leak past the o-ring under the coil, but not the highest quality control I have seen. Loaded the tank up with a 70VG/30PG juice, and let it sit for about 30 min as I forgot to wet the wick before filling. After an hour and a half or so driving around running my Saturday morning errands vaping this set up, I have to say I am quite impressed with the flavor and vapor production. It has better flavor than the Nautilus mini (different juice I admit, but the Nautilus doesn't seem to like the 70/30.) and has a thicker cloud. The flavor is just as good as with the Starre tank, but with a whole lot less cloud, running the same juice. Not really surprising going from .5 ohm at 35-40 watts to 1.5 ohm at 15 watts. After running up and down the scale from 10 to 25 watts and changing the airflow setting around quite a few times, I have settled on 15watts on the middle air flow. Higher watts on the big hole for airflow does make bigger clouds without tasting burnt, but I got this to try and find a happy middle with the cloud production between the Nautilus mini and my Starre subohm tank. This hit the nail on the head for that. I have not tried the RTA setup, and probably won't for some time unless someone comes and splits all my firewood for me. Overall after a couple hours of use, I'd give the subtank mini a 3.5 out of 5 stars due to the wonky fitment of the tank parts. And the subbox mini 4.75 out of 5, because the battery door is longer than the box itself (only .020"-.030") and I caught the longer edge on my pocket and knocked the cover off, and the ohm reading isn't spot on with the coil installed, showing 1.6 for the 1.5. Granted I have yet to personally see any box read perfect. Other than that the box works as advertised.
  7. I have the same problem, my wife has issues with me using the sibohm tank in the house....
  8. Mine should be waiting for me when I get home from my work trip tomorrow. Looks like I will like it.
  9. I have found that the lower ohm coils will take a higher wattage as long as there is good air flow and the wick stays wet. I haven't gotten my subtank mini yet, it should be waiting for me tomorrow when I get home. I have a Starre tank currently, I have been running the .5 ohm coil between 30 and 50 watts depending on the liquid in it, but that thing has massive airflow.
  10. Were the batteries used in a mech mod? If so they may have been drained too low and the safety circuit is not allowing them to charge. What charger is it?
  11. I have the same issue when I use my sub ohm tank in the house. Stuck using the Nautilus mini indoors. It could be worse I guess.....
  12. It doesn't matter what device a LiPo is in, storage is storage. When I am racing weekly, I just unplug the battery when I am done racing and let it be untill next week. When the season is over, I'll charge the batteries to 3.0 to 3.2 volts, and cycle them every 4 to 6 weeks. It's a chore to try and keep them from going bad in storage, but race packs are expensive. I'd recommend swapping out the spare iStick when you need to charge, and not go throuvh the trouble of storing one of them. And I didn't proof read, I store them 3.4 to 3.6 volts not 3.0 to 3.2, that's cut off.....
  13. I have ordered from them. Had an Issue after delivery once, answered a few questions and problem solved. I will buy from them again.
  14. I was under the impression that the blue bars were category separators not forums. Didn't notice until your arrow above basically underlined the description, that what I thought was a "forum" was actually a "Sub Forum".
  15. I don't know if the forum software allows it, but I would like to be able to mark a sub forum read from the main page. For example the games sub forum in the lounge holds no interest to me. I see new posts in the lounge, and click it. Then I see the new posts are only in games. Mark it read and go back to the main forum listing. Not a big deal, just figured it goes along with the question.
  16. Awesome review, but now I have another tank to put on my list of wants............
  17. An Atlantis or Starr tank and a iStick 50 watt should give you the clouds you are looking for, there are many subohm tanks to choose from. They generally come with screw in atomizers. Fill the tank, let the juice soak for 5 min or so to saturate the wick and go.
  18. Got some in Utica,NY. Damn good. Only a bit of an after taste that doesn't seem quite right. Definately not a deal breaker.
  19. Well, the God Box is dead it doesn't even power up at this point. I am going to put it on the shelf and go back to it later, I didn't reconnect any wires, and that may be the problem, but for now, work permitting I am back to my original plan.....
  20. Just got thrown a curveball, was talking to the guys at the local B&M. One of them says "hang on a sec". Comes out from the back room with a God Box that someone dropped off to fix. Turns out the guy left it there and bought an Istick or something. Looks like he dropped it, the 510 adapter is busted off and the wires to it are broken off the board. It doesn't really fit into what I was planning, but the price was right, they gave it to me. Currently charging up my 18650s to see it it powers up at least before I start trying to make something close to what I want out of it. If it doesn't work out all I am out is my time......
  21. I have the 20amp 3100Mah version of those. I love them. The ones you linked to are on sale at batteryjunction.com for 11.95.
  22. It's coming down to the sx350j or the SX330 V3S. I am leaning to the latter because it doesn't have the gravity switches, and so far from what I have found is still supported for upgrades.
  23. Anyone have input on the YIHI SX330 V3S?I believe it was use in the IPV 3.
  24. Looks like a 2 bay version of the LucV4, should work for you.
  25. The YiHi boards do look good, but I am a bit concerned about the "gravity switch". The reviews on the site linked to above are 50/50 on them working, and no clue if you can disable them.
