Most of the time its a faulty coil that causes the leaking.With a high VG chain vaping will cause a burnt taste because a thicker juice can't wick as efficiently in a clearomizer like the Nautilus

Have you tried swapping out the coil for a fresh one? Are you using BDC or BVC coils?

Buy a rubber jar opener or a cheap mouse pad.Pliers are a little extreme IMO lol

We need more info than just your coil resistance.

Not all tanks wick a high VG juice well.

What kind of tank are you using?

I've been vaping for a while now and I only do 6mg nic.But at times I need a little more nicotine.The next time I get some juice I'm going to bump it up to 7 or 8mg.I mainly drip so going above 8mg is a recipe for chunking a lung out.
