  1. Glock, sorry to hear about your situation. Stay as positive as you can. Try upping your nic level in your juice selection for a bit. If you do grab a smoke remember why you are vaping in the first place and get right back to it as soon as you can. I too have felt stressed at times and wanted a cigarette, but as bad as it gets you can be worse off. I feel your pain, lost my mom 6 years ago to lung cancer. It took me 5 years to realize 1.5 packs a day would lead me right to that point. 6 months ago I decided I have had enough and made the switch. Keep you chin up and you'll get what you need when you need it.
  2. Just ordered an iStick 50w from World of Vape for my better half. She has 2-20w and held my 50w and said, " I need one of those, in blue." So ordered it this morning. Thanks Tam with your help I was able to spend my money. Earthling has taught you well. LOL
  3. Bought mine last Saturday. I have had to charge it only twice with heavy use. I love it. Fits the hand perfectly. Phil's reviews albeit long, are always very informative and entertaining. My local B&M had them in black and silver only. I should have ordered it online and got the blue.
  4. hey welcome, feel free to troll around, ask question and by all means have fun.
  5. I just saw that before clicking this thread. I call pure BS on the story. More propaganda that wasn't on the web long enough to do any real harm, but it shows fools will write or say anything to discredit the benefits of vaping.
  6. Get a Britta filter or pitcher. It removes a lot of the tap water taste and you will grow to like it. I used to drink about 4 large coffee's a day with Pepsi in between. Since I have been vaping and lost my sense of taste due to being dehydrated once in 5 months, I switched to strictly water and have never felt better. Vaping and caffeine dehydrate you. Water is great. You could mix it up with flavored sparkling water.
  7. Well let me be the one to stop the confusion. BVC= Bottom Vertical Coil BDC= Bottom Dual Coil Those are the two coil types offered by Aspire the vertical coil is just that, a coil in the center of the assembly that runs from bottom to top with wicking wrapped around it. the dual coils are laid in the assembly horizontally at 90 degrees from one another. the bottom vertical coils were reworked lately and they use cotton and the juice flow holes are larger than the original. and the one acronym that no one likes is IRS.
  8. The original Aspire BVC coils for both Nautilus tanks had a ceramic wicking material. Cotton seems to be the preferred method for a lot of new tanks coming out. The Aspire Atlantis Sub-ohm tanks have it in the coils now. Aspire was getting flack from users about the safety of the ceramic material. Kanger Sub tanks came with cotton in the coils from day one. Those who drip and use RTA's, myself included, use cotton as a wicking material. It seems to wick the juice better than silica. I still use my Nautilus and Nautilus mini, as well as my Kayfun V4 clones. Sub-ohm tanks are new to the market and seem to be the rage. For the money I personally am looking at the Kanger Sub tank because you can replace the coils, or it has a rebuildable coil section you can use. Cotton is a good thing. Comp has a good post about different wicking materials and the performance of each. Not sue about better than the Nautilus tanks, except for maybe a rebuildable type. The Authentic Kayfun V4 has the ability to swap out the 510 connecter to one that directly fits the Provar, if you are into building your own coils.. Check out this review...http://www.tasteyourjuice.com/wordpress/2014/12/03/the-kayfun-v4-review/
  9. Welcome to VT. Currently Sigelei 100w with an EHPro Kayfun V4 clone and R&D ShortcakeZ.
  10. Good question Tug. I have not tried their other flavors so I can't tell you how the other flavors wicked.
  11. lol. I just was gonna post the link to the post about the coils. I too had trouble with the Boss Reserve in my Nautilus tanks. got thru more juice than the OP, but it would still end up burning due to poor juice flow. I now use it in my Kayfun and have less problems, but the juice is a coil clogger.
  12. TugBoat, I posted a picture the other day with the side by side showing the old and new BVC's for the Nautilus. ^^^^^Added this link to show the difference^^^^
  13. Tam you can come to MA we have enough to fill a football stadium over 90 times. Please take all you like.
  14. yes jojo, 1. cut to length 2. beat to fit 3. paint to match
  15. I just had this problem with my mini before I read this post. My fiancé has three and never has a problem. I have one mini and two full size. Never a problem with the full size. Needed channel lock pliers with the mini. She said it was probably because I over tightened it. We originally had this problem with hers before we realized that over tight was not good. *duh* I forgot about that. So yeah don't over tighten them. Make it just tight enough so it doesn't leak.
  16. We have had over 95" of snow and it has been the snowiest Feb on record. I agree with Comp. Hard to get around and our transit system is not fully operational. Haven't taken many picture of it. Best way to see it is look at the blank space of this post.
  17. I started with ego 650 mAh batteries. 2 would last about 8-9 hours. I have upgraded to a Vamo V5 and V6. Both use removable 18650 batteries. you can get 18650 batteries in a few mAh capacities. I use Efest 18650 2500 mAh batteries, they last approx. 9-10 hours. Efest also makes a 3100mAh version. So I would also suggest you look at the battery capacity as a deciding factor on a device lasting your work day. The higher the mAh the longer the run time of the battery.
  18. Just opened a new pack of Nautilus BVC's and noticed a couple of things. 1. The warning card that came inside the box. 2. The size increase of to juice holes I have one in my Nautilus mini soaking right now with Fadora Vapor's new sample of Coffee w/cream and sugar. So I get to test two products at once.
  19. I work for an oil heat company, After yesterday I realize I am also a part time nut case. Well only found that out after working for 11 hours strait without a break, then stopping for 2 and then going back out for 4 more. ugh is winter over yet? 70 hours a week are getting old. 90 inches of snow doesn't make it easy. But, I love what I do.
  20. You think you should advertise that Shen?
  21. Jake does it sound like bacon in a frying pan? I get that sometimes with my dripper. Especially when I first burn off the coil after removing the wick when I am about to rewick. Or when I over drip before hitting it. I have heard it also with others when they are hitting thiers.
  22. The istick and the mvp both have an internal battery with a micro usb charge port. Google each and you will see what each one looks like. Eleaf iStick 20w or 30w. Innokin MVP 2.0 or MVP 3.0. Look for reviews on YouTube. PBursado is a great reviewer, gets kind of technical with the reviews of all devices tested, but shows what to look for and watch out for.
