Just wanted to chime in and say I just started vaping 6 days ago-got an ego/tornado from TW-came in two days!!! LOVE IT-can't say enough good about it and am very thankful that this site was here to lead me in the right direction to getting the ego, as I was not going to order that model at first. Now I love vaping and want all my smoking friends to know they have a better option. Hope you get all your stuff and love it to:O)

Good for you!!! I know what you mean about "can't believe it's taking the place of my real cigs" BUT for me it does to. I got my ego last Saturday and had one analog Sunday morning to "kiss them goodbye" (for the umpteenth time) and haven't missed them. I did have a few times where I was getting super busy with work and thought-oh I am wanting a real cig-then I vaped up a storm and it was fine-Now I vape whenever I have a craving and the normal times I would have smoked and I don't even hardly remember analogs!!!

Well, that is good to know. I always have a gallon of USP grade VG on hand because I use it in the lip balms I make (I use it in soaps, lotions etc. to-but it is USP grade because of the lip balm usage) So, all I need to get to "not get caught with my pants down" is the liquid nicotine and some PG and I'm all set. I am going to get the 500ml of 36mg e-juice-hate to spend the $, but I will feel better knowing I have it (God forbid I run out of anything else and have to try steaming it in a pot on my stove top lol!)

Okay-that's pretty good. Since I am new (it's been 6 days) I feel like I am spending way more $ because I am lol! Liquid, batteries, atty's-if the FDA stops all e-nic shipments I don't want to be without kwim? I think they will-not to be a pessimist-but it's a drug, and depending on how they decide to classify it (bastiges) will determine whether or not we end up dry.

Are you talking about the mega atty's ? If so, do you direct drip or get the empty/filled cartridges?

I don't want to be without my fix-how long do you get out of a regular ego atomizer, a mega atomizer and I already asked about a carotmizer (maybe a week?) I want a good supply:O)

I have read that there is more throat hit with PG and more vapor with VG-is either one considered safer or better or does it really matter? OR can you mix them???

Do you get nicotine liquid in your home town? If so where-I am not giving up getting my fix lol! it's going to skyrocket in price after regulation and I want to stock up!

I do, but it's good to keep in mind and remember-I have been putting mine in the medicine cabinet to help me "classify" it as a poison like it is if one of my kids drank it. I also need to remember to take the bottle I am using with me when I answer the phone (will not be a problem when I get my new cartomizers, but for now I am direct dripping at home) Thanks for a good reminder. I ended up just buying a bunch of juice in larger quantities-as I don't want to get into the DIY right now, maybe next time around.

I missed this post before-but this is my concern exactly-the absolute LAST thing I need is another hobby-my hobby has turned into a webstore (still working on getting that open-and it's been 6 months-yes months-as I also have a 7,5 and 3 year old to teach/play/wash/feed/discipline and make into decent human beings lol!) So unless the savings are really worth it-then I don't want to get into it at all. Oh and BTW I seriously think I am always planning for Armegeddon-I stock up on tons of stuff you know, just n case lol!

Okay-if I bought the 5 pack of 30ml set at TW it is $107 and that is 150ml of liquid ready to go. I also need to get another battery, some cartomizers etc. (maybe another atomizer) Do you think it is well worth my time to learn to make my own liquid? I have a ton on my plate right now-3 young children, starting my own web biz (though I work at home-i work 40-50 hours a week and the store is not even open yet!) oh and 3 children lol! I do really need to watch my money, but am nervous that if I get that kit-it will be a time consuming learning curve? I am a total DIY kind of girl (I make soap-the bar kind with lye) and so am not afraid of working with things etc. I am just concerned that I won't be saving as much as I think and working a whole lot extra to do it?? What are your thoughts??

well-I don't have anything right now, but wanted to place an order to mix my own. Actually I do have veggie glycerine (I use to make my body lotions etc.-not sure if I can use this or not for vaping-though it is USP ). I just don't know what to get-I basically like my menthol-but not sure what I am supposed to get for the nicotine-Basically I just want to save some money and since I only really like the menthol figured I could just mix up my own cheaper-What do I need?

Thanks-yes family BBQ often=weird. Anyway, I guess I will keep a supply bag with goods for a while until I know exactly what to expect. I am about to order the Tornado mega cartomizers from TW as I can't seem to find regular cartomizers for it there. So good to know about 1 a week, that's economical for sure. Okay-I used direct drip and one of the cartridges today (and nobody even cared much about it at the BBQ-that half of the family is so weird anyway) I did like the direct drip, taste, hit, and vapor. I did find it a bit messy when I took the cart tip (with no fill in it) out to drip again-kind of yukky, but not terrible. The cartomizers looked interesting to me to begin, but i didn't realize you can use them with the tornado/ego. So if I got a med. res cartomizer does it take the place of the atomizer AND the cartridge tip? How long does a cartomizer last before you have to throw it out?

Okay-that is on with what I am feeling-yes a cart only holds about 10 drops and so it isn't supposed to last me that long (maybe worth a few reg. cigs) I will go and watch the video again about how to direct drip and try that out before I leave today. Thanks:O)

Well, I find so far the reg. tobaco carts that came with the tornado or the menthol I got are the two I like-tried the coffee last night and it's not for me. What I wonder though is how often you add new liquid? I mean do you use the same cartridge of liquid all day or do you add more liquid (or refill the cart) every hour or so-depending on how much you are vaping I know, but on average. Maybe this is more clear-how many puffs do you get from a full cartridge (on average). I find I am using the e-cig differently then analogs as I have a few puffs and move on faster, but am back to vape more often-clear as mud? I am going to a cook out today and want to know what I need to bring for supplies to keep me happy for a while ETA- I also really seem to want a good throat hit-if I can't feel it it's not as good for me lots of vapor or not kwim?

Okay-now that I have done this for a day-I am finding that I want to have new liquid fairly often. I would say I fill a cart with new liquid and smoke for maybe the equivalent of a few analogs-then I want a new cart. Is this how it is?
