I don't quite understand what you mean. I use LR atties and cartos on my eGo all the time and my original batteries are still going since August. Maybe I'm confused? It's happened.

I thought I read in the original thread by the SmokeSkins guy that he had been on vacation and our freebies/samples would be in the (proverbial) mail this week. I hope so; they look cool on that website.

This makes me want to get a Bloog and a MaxxFusion carto. Dang it! Thanks for the tips, Leaford!

So jealous! I've been following his Twitter feed and every time he has a viewing and Q&A of Red State, I can't wait until Oct when it comes out for the general public. I love how he's promoting it; actually, he's not promoting it but it's word of mouth and Twitter and SModcast, etc. Seems great! Glad you had a great time!

Hi and welcome, vette67! I find that when I do a long draw and actually inhale it to my lungs, my output vapor is much lower than if I just pulled it into my mouth and exhaled. Hope this helps! Vape on!

That's a tough call. I would definitely put on VT's website, of course, and have, maybe in a smaller font, which threads to go to for beginners (the newbie stickied posts, for example). I would point out that it tastes much better than smoking and one can try all kinds of flavors and will not find smokes tasteful at all in a short time. I would make sure to mention that, in the long haul, despite the initial cash outlay (which isn't much more than a carton in some areas), that money can be saved. Also that the improvements in health DO happen. And I would say to have fun, learn something new, give it a try, etc. I guess I should put one together, too.

Re: American Spirit... WordUp has one that is called American Spirit. It's ok, but after I started I realized I didn't want to taste tobacco. And it's mostly a nutty flavor anyway. VT's Tobacco is much stronger in a more tobacco-y sense, but also nutty. WordUp sent me a Benson&Hedges sample that was pretty mellow on the tobacco side, but not as nutty. I ended up mixing these with other things. Give any and all of 'em a try. Oh, the only place that ended up being close to tobacco taste (without the nutty) was Tasty Vapor because they infuse (or some such thing) actual tobacco leaves in PG. But, to me, it tasted like how an ash tray smells. YMMV. Vape on!

I'm not the only one, then. But, wow, 36! I'm not planning on stopping vaping either. It's amazing to me how that change makes it so different. You keep being a happy camper! And, johns, yeah, that's why! Vape on!

Ah, the wise words of kisune. This makes me feel much better about my discovery. And as Erika says, it will only increase my costs if I continue on with chain vaping at the mid low (12, 11, 10, 9) level.

Try some 16 or 18 as a step between. But if 12's working, Nic-cick (nic-sick?) is no fun!

I don't think I ever got the beotch bug (I'd ask my students, but I really don't want to know the answer!) so I'm thankful for that. As Gary said, do what feels good. And, it's all good!

I absolutely agree, it does taste different at various strengths. I love it at 10, like it at 16, and think it's terrible at zero. It's my all day vape liquid. At 10 and 16.

I guess I didn't realize how much nicotine would be needed to satisfy my want for it. In the morning I'd been going through two full, new cartomizers on my 25-30 minute drive to work. This past Thursday, the only good liquids I had left were some 16mg ones from VT. So I loaded up four cartos and drove off to work. And used only one! Over the course of the weekend, I don't think I've gone through nearly as much liquid as I have been in the past when I vaped 12 or 10 or 9 or 6. When I smoked, which was over six months ago now, I smoked American Spirit "lights" (the yellow box). I guess I got more nic from them than I thought I did at only half a pack a day. I didn't realize how much a difference 16 or 18 would make over 12 or 10. Amazing. So, I guess the point of my post is, if you've been chain vaping at 6 to 12mg, try a higher nicotine level.... within reason, though, folks, don't be dangerous!

Brian, I saw that 5000 was creeping up for you and was wondering how you would "spend" it or if you'd even notice it. Your post was a great nod to vaping, patience, and your wife. I hope vaping continues to be a success for her.

DAYVAPE, without your extensive (coughcough! ) knowledge and posts about the wonders that are cartos, I'd still be trying to get cartridges to work!

Manual batteries do not have ways to get liquid in them. From what I understand (since I don't have one), an automatic battery depends on air blowing through a hole in the battery at the atomizer/cartomizer connection. If liquid gets in there, dead battery. I don't even notice that I'm pushing a button down anymore. Good luck, vape on, keep charging 'em up!

Hey, egoluvr, just checking in.

I did receive my order, Morfeeus. All in all, good, but I think they need to steep for a while. I have a bit of "can't taste this" syndrom, so while they smell very good and taste great (a little smidgen dab on the finger to taste), the flavors haven't carried through yet on the eGo with a LR carto. But I used them all once through the cartos, so maybe the second run through will go better, like breaking in the carto or something, along with a bit more steeping. The OMG and WTF were standouts, the description matched the flavors. The others are pretty similar to each other, but that's because I ordered things like cappuccino and mocha and coffee. LOL. Anyway, overall, worth it while I wait for the VTS to get stock.
