I like menthols, I smoked Newports. But I had menthol cigarettes that tasted too menthol like you were smoking mint candy, no tobacco. Know what I mean? Will I like this or find it too minty?

For me it took a couple of days vaping because I bought a crappy cigarette looking ecig spur of the moment thing from a smoke shop because I was sick and tired of spending $8 per pack. I never really smoked a lot of analogs and had a great scam going on with those cigar looking cigarettes that cost $2 a pack here in NYS until NYS upped the sales tax on tobacco placing them only about a buck cheaper then no name cigarettes. So I started buying cigs. A pack would last me 2 days but I still hated spending so much for some thing that was hurting me. Still I enjoyed the addiction and had no intentions of quitting. I switched to ecigs to save money lol. However I was ready to go back to analogs because the cheap ecig I had came with 8 mgs and it really sucked. Very low vapor production no throat hit, I found I was still craving for cigs! It took me a couple of days to learn how to exploit my cheap ecig in to getting more vapor. But it wasn't until I bought some juice and just dripped it in my cartomizer that really did the trick for me. Tasted much much better! AND if I took continuously 3 to 4 long drags I could get enough vapor! When I tried the 16 megs I knew I would stick with vaping and ordered my ego. Once I discovered that lots of vapor was possible and a throat hit and head high was attainable, anologs became history for me. You know you've really made the transition when your cigarette cravings turn in to vapor cravings. However there is a downside here.. I find I am vaping waaay more then I ever smoked :lmao:

I think so too. You can order juice directly from China for only 90 cents per 30ml and all kinds of ecigs, one of these days I may take a chance and place a order to see how long it takes. If you live chat these people they claim 5 - 7 business days. That's hard to believe from China! It is tempting, but a gamble. I think for peace of mind I'm glad I bought my ego thru vaporgalaxy. But for spare parts or juice I may take the chance

Damn, I can't wait until my ego arrives in a couple of days!!!!! I thought I might have to go up to 36 mgs. I kinda some times get a mild buzz of my 16mg carts IF I take 3 monster hits in a row or just inhale it like a joint for 8 seconds lol!

I don't know what it is but it must be related to my sleep apnea some how. As for stimulants, when it takes you hours to fall asleep no matter what, stimulants make very little difference in my case. I am guessing that some how vaping helps me breath better when I sleep? But don't quote me on that

I don't think banning vaping is a good idea, most will end up back on tobacco! Some form of regulation might be in order for uniform consistency in the way products as manufactured, packaged and sold. But I don't want to see them being sold at pharmacies. I like being able to go to small shops and buying online. I worry a lot not only about vaping but in the general direction we are heading towards. Not to sound like a kook, but I don't want a nanny state!

Well I suppose it does not help I am also a energy drinks and caffeine addict too lol. But I watch that closely and stop drinking Monsters about 5 hours before bedtime. I'm 55 years old and hooked on Monsters and Red Bull lol! I was never a heavy smoker. A pack of cigarettes would last me about 2 days. I vape a whole lot more then I smoked analogs! I'm thinking vaping helps my sleep apnea some how.

I have had trouble falling asleep for many years, tried all kinds of meds, it always takes me several hours to fall asleep. I've been vaping for a week now and can fall asleep faster, within 30 mns to 1 hour! That may sound high to some, but for me it's a blessing! I also noticed I stay asleep longer, getting up only once during the nite. I have no scientific evidence or proof to attribute this to vaping, just observation. It's nice falling asleep faster

Sounds like the ego is the way to go then, damn wish I found this forum before I bought that piece of crap elektro cigarette looking ecig at my local smoke shop, would have saved me some money! Live and learn I guess

For me it was mostly habit. For example, we all have certain triggers for a smoke, when they occur an alarm goes off in the head and that's that! These triggers could be any thing, certain events, times, or even feelings. That's what makes quitting so difficult, lets face it, chewing gum or wearing a patch just doesn't cut it. Vaping works for me, but began working better when I got better at getting stronger throat hits and creating more vapor! Also the nicotine conent needed to be no less then 16 mgs for me. After this the cigarette cravings turned in to vaping cravings

Some one correct me if I'm wrong, but cigarette (analog) nicotine ratings are different then vaper nicotine ratings. For example, Newport soft pack 100's is about 19mg, and newport lights around 11 But if you tried vaping at 16 - 18mgs you might think your smoking a light or even ultra light. Also, the nicotine in e-cigs and juices is a lower grade then analog, its classified as food grade nicotine. Your getting more pure nicotine from analog. So in order to satisfy your craving, you need to up the intake by nicotine AND vapor consumption to equal or surpass analog. For me I need at least 16mg but since I'm using a standard ecig no mods and 3.7 volts, any thing under 16mgs si like smoking a ultra light. It takes several big hits to equal one regular analog hit at that rate. Which is why I go thru batteries and juice so quickly lol. Yes I will be upgrading soon. Is any of this correct or am I off base?

I refill my cartomizers the easiest way possible, fill the plastic cap that comes with them 3/4 full and slowly push the cartomizer down in it as illustrated by Dr Vapor. He shows other ways too, but thats the easiest fastest way. http://www.vapetv.com/Doctor_Vapor/
