I can understand the whole looks like a cig pack thinking and if that is what you want, you need to go for it! Blu is ok but what you really want to consider in that market is the available flavors and nic levels they offer and prices. Dare to compare! There are a number of offerings in that market so be careful and shop around. After a month or 2 of this you will want to upgrade then we can talk about what to get next Good luck!

Can we just tax China instead?

Nonsense. Do NOT get the Ego. If you start off with the Ego you won't appreciate it as much as we do. You should buy a store bought starter kit for $75 that sucks first like we all did, feel the disappointment/shame and THEN buy a Ego. Why should you be spared of the added expense of learning the hard way?

Honestly, I don't think we can really measure the risks. Though of course your numbers give a good argument. I'm sure it reduces the risks but as luck would have it.. you never know. My question would be why smoke analogs any way. I can understand the craving for some thing special like a clove. I only get a craving for a Clove lol. But a regular cigarette? They taSTE like crap now

Spokane Health Board Passes E-Cig Resolution

Restricting sales to minors is not a bad thing. -
I think the honest truth is that ecigs will not be for every one despite the unusual high success rate it has, there will some it just won't work for. But giving it enough time is good advise!

I noticed my car has been running a little more rougher since I started vaping ecigs, wonder if the ecigs has some thing to do with that?

I'm telling you just rinse in hot tap water is good enough lol.

City Attorney Working On Controlling E-Cigarettes
Jkimbo replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
Yea, we know how big the problem is finding electronic cigarettes all over the ground. Why it's a bigger problem then analog butts many still lit all over the ground. We need to get on this right away! -
Very true however for many of us where ever we can save some money we try. I've got cartos still vaping clouds of smoke after 3 weeks. Some have died right after the first cleaning

You can also simply rinse them out in running tap water as hot as you can stand. Blow them out and rinse again. One final blow and let them dry. This will remove most of the the juice and make the filler return to it's fluffy state. It will not get rid of strong flavors taste or smell, but won't be a prob on the cartos you vape tobacco flavors with. Also this method is a lot easier on the cartos! Boiling does kill cartos faster, even perfectly good ones. I lost a couple of new ones that way, they just went bad DOA.

Is there really any advantage going over 5 volts? I have heard and read many times that 5 volts is the sweet spot. Congrats on your Joker!

Differences Between Different Nic Strengths
Jkimbo replied to Marleen's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
For me it's different. I have 24mg and 36mg. I prefer 36mg. Not for the TH, which is about the same for me at those two nic levels, but more importantly for the nic buzz. I don't get any at 24mg or under. So I find I have to vape a whole lot more and do not really ever satisfy my cravings. I do get satisfied at 36mg and quickly too, so I actually vape less. It was similar for me with analogs too! I needed full flavor, lights actually caused me to smoke more often. I would like to see myself eventually lowing my nic level, but honestly do not see that happening at least any time soon. For me it's all about the nic high, it soothes me, calms me, and satisfies my tobacco cravings fully. -
That's exactly how I vape in the bathroom at work lol. Long inhales. Little vapor but man much better hits!

That's what I'm talking about! Thank you!

Tasty Vapors uses real tobacco, I'm sure a few others do tho I realize most of them are artificial flavors. This is what TV says about their blend.. I would be more interested in those who do use actual tobacco in their mix as most of the "tobacco" eliquids so far all seem to have a similar artificial taste about them. Tho RY4 does seem to be unique. Tasty Vapors claims all natural flavoring for their tobacco. Does any one know of any others out there? I think eliquid juice can come closer to tobacco flavor then most of the current line up. Carmel is not close to tobacco I really wish more producers would disclose the actual contents used for their so called tobacco juice like Tasty Vapors does. Juice makes take note.

Yup, newbies take note here! I have extra atties cartos and batteries and enough juice to last me 3 months if needed.

LMAO!!! Too funny. I feel your pain Let us know how you made out later! (thinking of the Tom Petty song: "waiting is the hardest part..")

Found it on another forum did not have a chance to read it all and that other forum is blocked at my job so reposted it here for every one! The cover story on the new September/October issue of Tobacco Outlet Business is "Time for Tobacco Harm Reduction: The emerging reduced-harm product market may become retailer's new profit center" The seven page article (which quotes me extensively) is subtitled "Support Builds for Tobacco Harm Reduction" and discusses smokeless tobacco products and e-cigarettes in detail. The article also includes quotes by or mentions CASAA, NVC, AAPHP, ACSH, tobaccoharmreduction.org, Mike Siegel, Brad Rodu and Johnson Creek. Credit to Bill Godshall Link

Do the math. tobacco = 4000 chemicals e liquids = 2 main chemicals We can use the death statistics from tobacco related deaths and sort of get an idea that there will be at the very least, fewer deaths caused by ecigs. I think it's a valid statement to use and further sheds light on the goofy way they are treating ecigs and ignoring all the things we do know about cigarettes! They piss and moan about child proof caps on juice bottles but never mind all the cigarette buts children can pick up off the ground and many still burning too! It is all politics!

Is there real tobacco in any of them or is it all artificial flavoring?
-
I heard most of the so called "tobacco flavors" have NO TOBACCO at all! And are made from spices, herbs and artificial flavoring creatively mixed and that is why MOST distributors keep their mixes a secret. I only know of one producer who comes out and discloses they actually use real tobacco in their mix (Tasty Vapes). How many of these so called tobacco flavors contain real tobacco? If not how do they create their "tobacco" flavors? Can some one please shed some light on this subject?
