Itsmedeanna64 got a reaction from nytriumph in Walking Dead Fans?
All of the episodes of TWD on AMC marathon so far today were filmed about 10 minutes from me. The big white farmhouse is very close to me also. About 30 minutes.
Cool huh?

For me it was about 7 yrs of cigs. I went through some pretty bad family issues and I felt at the time it was either that or drinking, and I haven't ever drank! Lol. It was in fact 7 yrs of shame because I was really ashamed of myself that I stooped to that point. I also at that point was dealing with bleeding stomach ulcers. Now with no cigs and 2yrs in and out of the hospital 9 times I am feeling better. It was pretty rough and still hard some days but I don't want a cig at all, don't miss it, don't crave it and don't intend to ever go there again.

Itsmedeanna64 got a reaction from tazl37 in whatta ya do fer a living...
Well I am the queen of the castle, typical stay at home mom. I keep my 2 yr old niece full time which is a big job in itself right now. I have farm animals I tend to everyday....goats, donkeys, geese and a pot bellied pig, all very much loved pets plus 2 very rotten dogs. I still manage to run the lives, or try to, of my 25 yr old son and 20 yr old daughter, lol. They don't complain. We a close family.
My husband of almost 32 yrs works for a major natural gas pipeline and is out of town quite a bit. I'm very thankful to have been able to raise my kids at home and now can be there for Shelby. I've been very lucky to have such a great job!

So happy for you. It's a good feeling I know, I'm over 6 months without cigs now. Those first few days are scarey but are so worth it!
Keep going, were rooting for you!

There's nothing more attractive than a man who cooks! Lol congrats on your accomplishment JohnnyFog. Being a southern gal, like you, I do a lot of cooking too but it looks like you have arrived!
My cousin owns a bbq resturant and I've cooked a lot for him and he also caters and that is hard work but when you see people enjoy it and always come back it's certainly gratifying.
These days I spend a lot of time taking care of my little hobby farm with donkeys pigs goats geese and chickens and of course dogs and cats. I get rescue calls and I breed certain breeds for purity so I guess that is my dream job slash hobby.

Hubs absolutely is a western fan also. Me, not so much. But, I have had to watch them for 32 years! Gun Smoke is his favorite. I think he's close to seeing all of those over 20 years of episodes!
I will say Yuma is a good movie though.

Hi Chris! Welcome to this great forum! My story is very similar to yours as t started vaping over 4 months ago and quit cigs 100 percent over 3 months ago and now I enjoy just vaping also. I was amazed it wasn't painful at all! Lol. This message board is great. You'll enjoy it.

Itsmedeanna64 got a reaction from Compenstine in Anyone use ecig as the substitution for tobacco cigarette
My advice to you would be read read read everything you can find. Even though not is all true as we all know but still will you decide if enjoying vaping is what you want. This forum is great for that in many ways and we also have many links to the debating back and forth. Ask questions here also bc there are so many helpful and experienced people here who are willing to help. Then make up your own mind.

Itsmedeanna64 got a reaction from jeanrose770 in What was your first juice?
I've got another ' just curious' question for ya'll. When you first started vaping, what was the very first you tried, or the first juice you bought. For me that would be Florida Orange, the first juice I bought when I bought my first ego kit.

Hi tx, welcome to this great forum! I'm sure all of our experienced vapers will give you plenty of suggestions. I have only been vaping a few months and began with a very simple ego kit and now my fav is my regular nautilus tank with an mvp battery. My favorite juice is Fireball with a little Cool Menthol. I'm still experimenting myself. You will learn a lot just by reading here like I did.
Congrats on quitting the cigs!

Itsmedeanna64 got a reaction from mkauthen in Paying it Forward
What a great attitude! So my bro and hubby drag races slot cars and we were at the track the other night and this lady wants to ask me questions about me vaping....explaining she quit smoking 8 yrs before and she was seriously close to starting back because she was going through a really bad divorce after 32 years. I felt so sorry for her and tried to explain my situation and why vaping might be the very thing she needed. I talked to her for a long time and found a new friend. She texted me the other day saying she bought a new setup and was very happy with vaping and it has really calmed her down and seemed to put her in a better place than she was. It made me feel good that I could help her when she needed help to not go back to smoking.

Itsmedeanna64 got a reaction from jonnoh in I bought a pack of cigarrattes
I smoked a few packs after I started vaping for maybe a month before I made up my mind no more cigs. Don't beat yourself up about it because from what I've read here a lot of people did it like this also. For me, as long as I knew the cigs were in that drawer I wanted one. I would finish up a pack, vape for 3 or 4 days and then go buy another pack and did this several times before I finally decided no more. I just finally said to myself, "self, that's it." And that worked. As long as they were where I could get to one i 'thought' I wanted one, even though when I was smoking one I was wondering why in the world did I want this? Yuck!
So it's been 6 weeks since then and I don't miss it one bit and I'm so glad. I was never a heavy or long term smoker and I was still amazed at how much it had a hold on me. I never realized the addiction, or the 'attachment' could be so strong. I couldn't have done it without reading this forum for my motivation and vaping made it easy for me once my mind was made up.

Itsmedeanna64 got a reaction from christov11 in Where to find your PV?
I should have taken a picture of the bathtub when my nautilous and purple spinner 2 was sitting at the bottom of it! I grabbed it up immediately but eventually never did work again, after rice and all the other stuff you're supposed to do to save it! Oh well, I liked that purple one!
I know when I set mine down and forget where, I start seriously panicking! I have some short term memory loss due to blood issues and sometimes forget. I've never forgotten and not found it though!
