  1. I have 4 vision spinner 2's and I like them a lot. The only thing I've noticed as far as charging goes is that one can take a while for it to be finished charging and one can only take a short time. Not sure why. But, they seem to all work just fine. No rhyme or reason that I've figured out though. Dc
  2. I'm using an aspire nautilous tank on a vision spinner 2 with fire and ice from my local b&m. Dc
  3. Good morning Michelle and all! I'm right with ya, I'm cig free 3 weeks. I fell off the wagon 3 or 4 times and boy did I feel guilty but I kept on and let me tell you it is so worth it! I would go buy a pack, when they were gone I would go 3 or 4 days of just vaping, then get the urge and go buy another pack and do the same thing. Finally I made up my mind when that pack was gone that was going to be IT....and that's what I did. So, it still takes a little will power. Reading everyone's posts were really what helped me. Now I don't even miss it. Moral of the story is, YOU can do it! Another thing that helped me was I have stomach and blood issues so I knew I had to. i have felt better in the last 3 weeks than I have felt in years. Started walking again and am up to 5 miles a day. Dc
  4. Way to go Jon. I love to read stories such as yours. I smoked a pack or less a day for about 8 years but still very addicted. I tried several times to quit but when I started vaping I was shocked how easy that transition was. I'm cig free now for 3 weeks and don't miss it at all. I'm amazed every day of how much it had a hold on me! I knew I didn't have a choice because of chronic stomach and blood problems but now my health is on the way up. Congrats, that is amazing! Welcome...you will enjoy this forum and will learn a lot from it! Doc
  5. My goals for the near future is step down to 6 and start diy-ing my own juice. I enjoy the habit---uuhhh HOBBY. I'm not planning on quitting vaping any time soon. Dc
  6. Good morning Saturday morning everyone! I stopped my local b&m yesterday, during a thunderstorm.....with a 2 yr old, lol, but anyway I bought my first aspire nautilous tank. I've only used Kangertech pro tanks so I was excited to try what I've heard so much about! Well, I like it a lot better than my pro tanks! I really like the fact that it holds so much too which is what I needed. Also got a 30ml bottle of my favorite house made juice, fireball. I am happy, for now....lol. Btw my b&m is just 2 miles from my house. Pretty nice. Anybody got one closer? Dc
  7. So far that would be strawberry champagne I got from a local b&m and it was a house made juice. I still can't figure out WHAT that was! Dc
  8. Ohhhh, so sorry about your football mishap but I couldn't help but giggle! Yep, I'll be tryin' the rice too. I'll let ya'll know what happens! Dc
  9. Thanks guys, this gives me a little hope then, I've already replaced it (I'd been wanting a white one) but hopefully it just might recover! Thanks again! Dc
  10. I did a bad thing. I sat my ecig on the counter beside the kitchen sink......which had water in it....and you guessed it, knocked it in the water. I grabbed it right away but I guess it fried my new purple vision spinner 2 because now the light won't light up at all. I put it on charge to see what it would do, it shows its fully charged, I take it back off of the charger and still won't come on. It was only a week old. I am so upset with myself! Dc
  11. Such great inspiration in this thread! Congrats to all of you! I love walking. Dc
  12. You very well be allergic to the beer. Hops is a type of plant and it grows like wheat. When you think about it it makes sense!? I'm allergic to stuff outside and inside. I have a small farm and have to spend a lot of time outside. I have a 21lb very long haired cat that we've had for almost 15 years and it would be better for me if we were catless but he's my sons favorite so there's no question he stays here. There won't be another one inside though. It was hard for me to vacuum and get the dust stirred up so we got rid of the carpet and have all hardwood floors but I couldn't tell a difference with that. I have made all kinds of changes but I still suffer. I feel for anybody that is this way because it's mighty miserable! Dc
  13. Kangertech pro tank 2 with a Vision Spinner 2 and Rolling Rock Vapor's Fire And Ice. Nice blend of cinnamon and mint. Dc
  14. When my oldest daughter was about 7 years old she came home from school with a paper saying cigarettes and alcohol were drugs. She was so upset because her granddaddy was a drug addict she said. I had a lot of explaining to do! I couldn't help but laugh at her when she wasn't looking. I can see both sides of that definitely. I wanted to say to her, your granddaddy is not a drug addict, he's just an idiot! Dc
  15. I have year round allergies also, I so feel for anyone who does. My ear nose and throat doc finally told me he just couldn't help. I've done shots, sinus sergury, meds and the whole shebang. I finally just gave up and just suffer through it with cortisone shots which do help when I get a bad attack. I havent noticed a change yet since I started vaping about 8 weeks ago. I hope it makes a difference. I'm looking forward to it! Doc
  16. Yesterday I bought a Kangertech mini. I also got a red spinner 2. I am a happy camper! Dc
  17. Sorry for the double post man it's way too early! Please delete one. So sorry! Dc
  18. Totally agree with NOT having cigs where you can get to them. It's like I could not resist knowing they were in that drawer! If they are not there then there's no temptation and you turn to vaping instead. That doesn't mean I still don't 'think' about them but just knowing I have a backup there made all the difference in the world. I never realized how hooked I was with just those 5 cigs a day! You are well on your way so do whatever works for you. If it's slow to give them up then you do what you have to do. I think you are doing great. Dc
  19. Oh my my! Thanks for the good laugh with this thread first thing this morning! Dc
  20. Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm going to try them all they sound so good! I went to my local b&m today and bought another spinner 2 and the owner told me she had the same problem of not being able to taste it unless it was really strong. She fixed me up a bottle of watermelon and it's better but still not what I was looking for exactly. But, I see that it pays to be a good friendly customer! Lol. I am still looking for something different so I will definitely give these a try. So appreciative!!! Dc
  21. Good evening all, I need a recommendation. Ive had chronic nasal allergies for years, well, most of my life, so I lost my sense of smell years ago. Because of this my sense of taste isn't that good so I need a strong tasting juice. So far I have found one from my local b&m called Fireball which is a strong cinnamon that I love but I would like to find something else for a change also. Anyone know of a strong flavor I can try and where I can get it online? I like fruit, drink and dessert flavors and coffee and tobacco are my least favorites. I hope asking for a website name isn't against forum rules....if it is I apologize. Thanks for any help. I have really learned a lot from you people! Oh and I do have a glass tank and a vision spinner II if that helps. Dc
  22. I'm also new to vaping, about 6 weeks now. Quit cigs about a week ago finally. All I can say is vaping worked for me when cutting down and cold turkey didn't. I smoked virginia slims menthol light. When I went to vaping I definitely didn't want it to taste like a cig for some reason. I went with fruit favors but my local shop makes their own juice and they have a cool menthol that I do love. They also do a cinnamon called fireball that I really like too. Your wife may find something she likes other than a tobacco ejuice and still give her the satisfaction she's looking for. Tell her to try a little of everything. Good luck to you and your wife! I was actually shocked at how vaping gave me the calming satisfaction like a cig would. Also read everything on this board and you will learn a lot! Doc
  23. Thanks so much guys for taking the time to tell me your opinions. They are all such good valid points. I've never been a heavy smoker and only about 8 years of it AND started because of being so stressed about family problems. Now I HAVE to quit because of health issues and cutting down or cold turkey didn't do it. I never tried the patch or gum as my gastrologist suggested. When I started vaping I was completely shocked at how I felt and not even wanting a cig. So yeah, it's working! Hubs just will have to understand sooner or later! Doc
  24. I'm very sorry to confuse everyone. I think I get the idea. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to my post. Dc
