  1. No way of knowing for sure but I would guess it's your nic level. Maybe try going down and see if that helps. Cigarettes do some really weird things to your body and even more so when you cut it off I'd think. One thing that came as a big surprise to me was not healing after surgery. It caused me a lot of problems. I don't want to go through that again! Dc
  2. I've had no problems with mine. It's probably my favorite piece right now. Dc
  3. Taking extra vitamin E really helps with leg cramps. My dr told me and it really helped me! Dc
  4. Gaining weight was one thing that I really worried about. I quit cigs and am vaping only, let's see about 9 weeks ago. Maybe women tend to be concerned about this more than men, I don't know. Over the last year and a half I've had three surgeries and 7 hospital stays. I have bleeding ulcers, I got a total of 21 pints of blood and my hemoglobin got down to 2.4 last thanksgiving. I eventually had to have a gastric bypass and lost 50 lbs unintentionally. It's been a long hard road believe me....but I still worry about gaining weight back now that I have been feeling better most days, not every day. Between all the Iv iron treatments and dr apps I have started walking. I would like to stay exactly where I am right now at 130 lbs. I was down to 119 at five foot five inches tall and that was way too thin for me. All this I still worry about gaining weight like other ex smokers tend to do. Lol Dc
  5. Yesterday I got my itaste mvp and I just love it! I thought I would always stay with vision spinner 2's but not thinking that anymore! I am very happy with this little contraption. I also got some dargon's blood juice which is pretty tasty and some orange creamcicle and butterscotch I haven't tried yet. Going to the slot car drag races tonight, brother and hubs are big into racing these and I enjoy it too so I will be a happy gal for the weekend! Hope everyone else has a good weekend also! Doc
  6. That's great pack, I see you posted this on sept 19 so I'm hoping you're doing well. I'm on the bandwagon with you at going on at 6 weeks! Dc
  7. I should have taken a picture of the bathtub when my nautilous and purple spinner 2 was sitting at the bottom of it! I grabbed it up immediately but eventually never did work again, after rice and all the other stuff you're supposed to do to save it! Oh well, I liked that purple one! I know when I set mine down and forget where, I start seriously panicking! I have some short term memory loss due to blood issues and sometimes forget. I've never forgotten and not found it though! 8. I smoked a few packs after I started vaping for maybe a month before I made up my mind no more cigs. Don't beat yourself up about it because from what I've read here a lot of people did it like this also. For me, as long as I knew the cigs were in that drawer I wanted one. I would finish up a pack, vape for 3 or 4 days and then go buy another pack and did this several times before I finally decided no more. I just finally said to myself, "self, that's it." And that worked. As long as they were where I could get to one i 'thought' I wanted one, even though when I was smoking one I was wondering why in the world did I want this? Yuck! So it's been 6 weeks since then and I don't miss it one bit and I'm so glad. I was never a heavy or long term smoker and I was still amazed at how much it had a hold on me. I never realized the addiction, or the 'attachment' could be so strong. I couldn't have done it without reading this forum for my motivation and vaping made it easy for me once my mind was made up. 9. Hi there, welcome to this great forum! I use a spinner2 and a nautilous also. Dc
  10. Welcome Raleigh, I've been vaping for about 10 weeks now. Started with an ego small kit and now I have a little collection of gadgets but I do like my vision spinner 2's and aspire nautilous tanks. Enjoy the forum! Dc
  11. Welcome 907, I bet we all wish we had done it sooner but what's important is now, right? Enjoy the forum, you'll learn lots here! Doc
  12. Happy, I couldn't agree with you more! What a wonderful support group it's turned out for me! Aqua troy, love the goat pictures! I breed Pygmy goats. They really do that, a lot! Lol! Dc
  13. So far it's an aspire bdc. HATE it Dc
  14. Update on this....my spinner never did work again. I was so hoping..... Dc
  15. I have always heard that cigarettes were an appetite suppressant?! Therefore you quit and gain weight because you eat more. I don't know....just thought I might mention it. Dc
  16. Might be the onset of the flu or a cold or allergies and have nothing to do with vaping. I guess you've figured it out by now though huh? This is my time to stay sick with allergies. My voice has been gone for almost 2 weeks. Doc
  17. Rox, coffee is a diuretic which means it will probably make you more dehydrated cause you have to tinkle more! Dc
  18. It is absolutely great!! I was surprised at how easy it was once my mind was made up. I was expecting to go thru all sorts of painful things (withdrawal headaches and stress and such) but I didnt. The main thing is I think I've read just about this whole entire forum and think if they can do it I can do it! And of course vaping too curbed the urge! Dc
  19. Cig free 5 weeks today. I gradually cut down to maybe 1 or 2 a day and kept telling myself when this pack is gone that's it, no more. I did this several times and finally it stuck. Now I don't even want one which is shocking to me because that urge was so strong.....and I have a lot of stress in my life that kept me going back.....then one day it stuck. I don't even miss them anymore. You've just got to make it up in your mind that you are going to do this for yourself and your family. It takes a lot of talking to yourself...lol Good luck. You WILL get there if you are determined. Dc
  20. I just had to toot my own horn just a little bit! I am 100 percent cig-less 5 weeks today and I am so proud of myself. I could not have done this without this forum for motivation, so thanks to all of you! Tooting your horns too!! Doc
  21. I bit the bullet and ordered one last night on Amazon. This was after I stopped by my b&m yesterday evening to get a bottle of juice and saw that their prices on the mvp were $20 more than what I've been seeing online. im using vision spinner 2's right now. So glad to see everyone likes this one so much can't wait to try it. Dc
  22. I think vaping is just one of those hobbies/habits that you can spend as little or as much as you want. For me it's hard not to want the next big thing....for some that isn't as important. I love the nautilous. I have a mini and reg one.....my faves. I think you can't go wrong. Doc
  23. I've been thinking about buying an mvp so I was very glad to read this thread! Love to know everyone's opinions first. Looks like this will be my next purchase.....then I'm not going to buy anything for a while....not. I say that every time! Dc
