  1. Today I am vaping switching between Suicide Bunny's Mothers Milk and Alpha's Hoops.
  2. My husband has only been vaping for about a week and a half (I just started yesterday). But that being said, I have noticed huge health benefits in the short time that he has been use his vaporizer. His cough is less, he no longer sweats profusely, he has even lost a little bit of weight. He is also even eating less. These are all things that he has done absolutely nothing to change in his life, other than remove cigarettes. So in my opinion, the vape is probably saving his life.
  3. Thanks everyone for your advice on this. I have tried so many methods of quitting, none of them worked, so with Vaping, I have decided that I will vape through every craving, but if it becomes too much, I will have a cigarette (if there are any in the house). Yesterday I had two (very high stress in my life right now). But hey, 2 cigarettes in a full day is amazing! On that note, My goal is to not buy another pack of cigarettes. I have about 12 left in a pack. So we will see how it goes. Thank you all for your help.
  4. EVOD Twist filled with Suicide Bunny's Mother's Milk
  5. Ok, so today is my first full day of vaping. I started halfway through yesterday. I'm bouncing between Suicide Bunny's "Mothers Milk" 18 mg, and Tropic Monkey's "Tropical Monkey" 6 mg. Before today, I am a pack a day smoker. Some days more. Today, I have only had 3, and the day is almost over. I think this is going to work! Woo hoo! So, out of curiosity, how long did it take you to quit cigarettes all together? Trying to set realistic goals for myself. Thanks, Michelle
  6. I went ahead and pulled it off the charger. It is currently working, so I am going to assume that it is fully charged and I missed the greenlight, lol... Granted if it dies quickly, well then I guess it wasn't fully charged...
  7. The only words on the charger (Besides all the input/output stuff) is "eGo USB Charger"
  8. Ok, I got an EVOD twist yesterday, very cool, but... How do I tell when it is done charging? There is a red light on the charging piece, and the white light on the EVOD button. Both turned on when I plugged it in, and this morning (10 hours later), all lights still the same. Is it done charging? Or no? I am so happy to be vaping and heading down the road to quit smoking. THanks for everyones help. Michelle
  9. I have no ideas, but I'm super new... so I will watch this thread for answers as I am now curious as to what would cause that...
  10. Welcome to you from another Newbie. I've been here a few days and so far the info is great and the people seem very nice and helpful. Nice to meet you!
  11. Welcome Valerie! I'm new too. Only joined a few days ago, but the people here all have been very friendly and helpful so far. I too am new to vaping (and a smoker who hopes to quit). My husband is vaping as well, and it is helping him quit smoking really quickly! Have a great day. Michelle
  12. Interesting side note.... Since my hubby got his vape on Thursday, I use it in the evenings when he is home from work. I also used it all weekend while he was home (plus all the tons of vape flavors I tried at the ECC...) Well, he is at work right now, so I went out and had a regular cigarette.... It tasted horrible!!!!! It is going to be a looooong day waiting for hubby to get home. LOL
  13. LOL I went and read it. Thanks. I have been catching flack from my kids for quite some time to quit smoking. So they are all quite on board with me attempting to vape instead of smoke cigarettes. Now just need to come up with a little money to purchase a device. No need to buy liquids for some time, as I have about 20 bottles that I got for free at the ECC on Saturday. My youngest son offered to give me his money to buy one, but I had to break the bad news that 1 dollar won't do it. LOL
  14. Thank you for the heads up! I'm so new to this whole thing, I probably would have made an error there and ended up with something I didn't want. Thank you for looking out for this newbie... )
  15. Thanks everyone! I'm heading to Ebay now! (Why didn't I think of that?)
  16. While the idea sounds intriguing, I can't say whether it will work or not. Especially since you are on the East Coast, and I know nothing but West Coast. Good luck with your idea though! Michelle
  17. Thanks for the welcome and for the info. I will continue looking for the best deals for a decent piece. (Probably won't have any money to spend for a few weeks anyways) So no worries on not having links just yet. LOL Looking forward to meeting everyone. ) Michelle
  18. Hi all. My name is Michelle. I'm a 39 year old mother of 5. I've been a cigarette smoker since I was 21 (took year long breaks each time I got pregnant). My husband is also a smoker. He has been talking about trying out e-cigs for the past year. We tried a few of the disposable kinds, but they weren't for us. He has a friend at work that kept telling him to try a vaporizer instead. This guy was so nice, he gave my husband a Provari with a ton of juice and attachments, for like 60 dollars. My husband is a guy that smokes about a pack and a half a day kind of guy. He got the vaporizer on Thursday. That day, he only smoked 4 cigarettes. Every day since he has had between 2 and 4 cigarettes. I've become convinced that this must work. Yesterday, we went to the Electronic Cigarette Expo. It was pretty amazing. So, now I need to figure out what vaporizer I should get (remember, it can't be too expensive because we are pretty broke), and would like something pretty reliable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Michelle
