  1. Funny thing about weight loss. It sure depends on our bodies.... Through out my 20's, I was that girl everyone hates. Eat what I want, and never gain weight. Even after having babies. The weight just disappeared. Then I had my last baby and turned 30. Suddenly it was impossible to lose weight, and I kept gaining. Very depressing for a girl that had no idea how to diet. Lord have mercy. I also suffer from clinical depression and anxiety, so the weight was just adding up. The moral of this story is, I don't know what is happening to me, but I've been vaping for two months now, and I am eating less, exercising more, and the weight is noticeably coming off. I am down to 135 pounds, only ten to go to hit my goal weight. I've lost 20 pounds in the last few months. I feel better mentally as well (pretty good considering I lost my health insurance and no more meds). I had all but given up on ever feeling good about myself again. Its amazing.
  2. Granted, I'm new to vaping (only been at it since August), but, I am not mechanically inclined, at all. That being said, I will be sticking with batteries that I do not have to build on. LOL Maybe if I win the lottery I will upgrade myself to a Provari, but that is about it. I will stick with the easy stuff with great tasting juices.
  3. glad that the manufacturer got back to you so quickly. Sorry I had no answer for you as I have no experience with that battery. Good luck.
  4. lol, you are so silly, I'm not stressing on my end, and you should not either! You are very sweet.
  5. Thank you Comp! I will try this tomorrow when the kids are in school. (lol can't imagine that I can find the time to do this when they are all home!) At this point I am willing to try anything!
  6. lol, I don't know, I'm starting to think its just me. lol granted I've read that lots of people have had problems with theirs, but then others say they don't have any problems. I've run through and tried every remedy that I have read. So far, no luck. Still leaks (though now that I have two of the rubber things on the coil, it is leaking less... Its just frustrating, my poor battery must be so mad at me.
  7. it is doing both, leaking and gurgling. But once the gurgle starts, it means that it has leaked quite a bit. It is coming from the very bottom of the coil, it seems to be coming out through the center of the bottom of the coil (if that makes any sense...)
  8. oh its tight, lol. I have taken it apart about 50 times, and thats the first thing I check. Can't screw it in any tighter....
  9. Hey, I suffer from anxiety, bubble wrap helps! Send it all! LOL
  10. Ok, found this thread when searching Protank 2 leaking. My Protank 2 leaked the first week I had it. Then suddenly is stopped. I mentioned to my husband 2 days ago, that it hadn't leaked in a week. Stupid me. Suddenly yesterday, it started leaking again. Almost threw it at a wall yesterday. Hubby took it apart, cleaned it, refilled it. Worked fine for the night. This morning, started leaking again. So now I read through this thread and did everything that Bcarter said in his post. Also turned my voltage all the way down. Not currently leaking, but I'm so dang frusterated...
  11. A friend that hubby works with heard that I am on the hunt for great coffee flavor. He gave me half a bottle (a 120 ml bottle!) of Doc Bailey's Elixer "Dopey Drops" 18 mg. When I opened the bottle to smell it, it didn't smell like any coffee flavor at all, but when I vaped it, it has a nice smooth coffee flavor w/ some cream, and very little sugar. No aftertaste to speak of, which is kind of nice. I will give it a day or two to really decide how well I like it, but my first impression is, its a keeper.
  12. yes indeed! And you are one of them bcarter!!!
  13. Well I don't know what he is sending yet, but I can say that he does have an extremely big heart!
  14. Bushwick, if you can go all three days, totally do it! Freebies!!! Lots of booths will be giving out free juice (granted, they usually only have 0, 3, and 6 mg, but hey its free!!! website is www.vapeconusa.com and you can preregister for all 3 days, for only 15$! I sent them an email to see if we can preregister for only a one day pass, so I will let you all know when I find out. It should be lots of fun. The ECC was a blast, but this one looks more geared to the actual vapers, not just trying to get you to buy devices. There is even going to be a cloud comp if you are into that kind of thing. I'm so excited!
  15. Ok, so I was lucky enough to get to attend the Electronic Cigarette Convention (ECC) this summer. Now I was informed by my husband that VAPECON will be in the same location as the ECC was (Ontario Convention Center) at the end of this month! Holy cow! Free juice, fun activities, I'm in! Well, I will be if I can afford it. So, just curious, will anyone from the forum be attending? It is Friday Oct.31 thru Sunday Novemer 2. We would be going on the Saturday event. Maybe we can organize a meet up there! Michelle
  16. Interesting. I googled it, and none of their flavors have their pg/vg listed on their site, or any other sites that sell it..... I would probably call their main number listed on their website and ask.
  17. Welcome! And I second what Earthling said. A simple Evod twist or Spinner 2 battery would be a fine starter, the juice is what is really important. Stay away from the juices that you see in gas stations, liquor stores, etc. Find a good brick and mortar vapor store (if they have them in your area), or try any of the juices here in the Vapor Talk store. You want to probably start with a high nicotine (18 or 24 mg) to start, just to ensure that you stay off of the analogs. If you want to delve into other devices later, cool, but you don't need much to start. Enjoy! its great feeling not dependent on the analogs!
  18. oh gosh, the toilet paper! Seriously, that is no joke, we run out all the time! LOL We all were living in a one bedroom, one bedroom house for 3 years after my husband got out of the Army. We are now living in the lap of luxury, in a 3 bedroom house (still only 1 bathroom). Yep, I tell people I live in a zoo. Between the 9 human bodies, we also have a beagle and a boxer. It is a mad house indeed. Trying to keep track of work and school schedules, planning and cooking meals, cleaning the house, and doing all the driving for all the school aged kids is indeed a full time job. Makes my head hurt just thinking about it, lol. The good news is, on the weekends, I don't have to drive anywhere! LOL Ok, I'm officially off to bed. night all!
