I am looking into something a step up from my Spinner II batteries. Let us know what you think. I agree with spending a few dollars more and ordering it from the site. I will do the same but will wait on your review

Wanted to share something I ran into on the authentic/clone Minis. The authentic mini in appearance is like the Nautilus full size 5ml. The top mount and drip tip are polished as where the clone is more of a satin finish. Side by side you can really tell the difference. The authentic air flow control ring is tight and precise as where the clone is easily moved. The clone also has a visible gap at the top and bottom of the control ring as where the authentic doesn't. Both BVC Mini clones I bought were advertised as authentic but Aspire confirmed, after emails pictures and security code verification, were not. Both came from different sellers online. ALL four coils that came with them were so poorly wicked you couldn't draw air them, period. The old saying you get what you paid for applies in my situation. I paid a few more bucks, bought 2 more authentics and moved on. After installing true BVC coils in the clones they work ok but the quality still isnt there. I know this doesnt add much to the topic but for those looking into buying an (authentic) Mini, I think you will enjoy it. I love mine but thats just my 2 cents

Some very interesting reading and answers to what most would ask. I have been playing around rebuilding my aspire BDC coils. I know its nothing like what you all are building but its where Im at for now. At first I went off videos and that didn't work. I continued to play with wraps, size of coils, wire gauge, amount of cotton etc. My bad, but when I started vaping, I joined another forum that was all but DEAD. When asking for any direction I got an idiotic answer so I went in search of another home. Every time I searched something I wound up here so I hit the join button. BEST decision I could have made. I should have done it sooner as it would have saved me a lot of trial and error, mostly error lol. Information here is outstanding. Appreciation goes out to you experienced members that share and explain so we beginners understand. Thank you.

Excellent suggestion, never thought about a coil. Ive been using a 2 cigar hard case that works well but have plenty of 5 cigar hard cases I could convert. I ride job to job so I can take whatever I need with me but I will refrain from a suitcase

I finally got to where I wanted to be, I made a TA/PG mix with no sweetener at all. I have a Fire cured Virginia, Hazelnut, Coffee mix I really like but 2 drops of the TA took it exactly where I wanted to be. I did stay at 60pg/40vg. As far as mixing goes I quicky learned to make note every tiny detail as the smallest variance will change an entire batch. This whole DIY Juicing is addictive!

Agree, I dont understand the huge cloud concept. I get what I need with less smoke than cigs created. Maybe its just the cool factor but Im too old to be cool

Very interesting topic being new to it myself. Smell was the first thing I noticed then taste etc. Have to agree with everything above but will refrain on pooping comments lol. I sleep better and my lungs are slowly starting to stop weezing all the time. Ive smoked 2 packs a day for 35 years, the damage is done but I certainly feel better than I have in a long time. It really is weird about the taste changing but Im working with it. One of the odd things Im getting over is the urge to have a carton in my truck all the time. You know when you got down to that last pack and you started freaking out looking for a store? Now I just carry two batteries and tanks and Im good until I get home.

I actually tried different batches with CC and another with EM, not together. I should have worded it differently. I did try a PG base TA and cut out any sweetener. I will try it and see where it goes. Thank you for the help and the VG info. I didnt know it can add sweetness also.

I made a Tobacco Absolute flavoring using PGA and Ethol Maltol. Picked up the TA from DIY. I added it to a couple of juices I mix and smoke almost daily. ( Using TFI American Red and SM Fire Cured Virginia mostly) I mix at 24mg. It gave it a real sweet taste I disliked but I really liked the flavor the TA gave. Double edged sword I guess. I tried a few different batches using less and less EM, even trying Cotton Candy at a minimum but same thing. I get a sweet taste, on the back end of it, but I can tell the TA gives it really something I want to use. (I may be mixing incorrectly, Im using PGA, +drops of TA+ drops of EM/Cotton Candy. Do you only use the PGA to thin the TA then add it to a PG base?) If mixing correctly could the PGA be adding a sweetness Im incurring? Im new to DIY so hopefully this is enough info to work with. IIve smoke cigars for 20+ years but only three or four a week. I know I wont quit cigars but being done with ciggerttes is really nice!! There is something to this Vaping thing and its good.

Im fairly new to vaping so I dont have much to share yet. Ive utilized a lot of info Ive read and hope to share my experiences as I go. I am mixing a lot of my own but learning as I go. I dont have any high end stuff but I am happy so far with what I have. I have three of the Vision Spinner II pens, two Nautilis Aspire 5ml tanks, two Aspire Mini tanks and a Kanger Pro tank III. I do try to research topis as much as possible but can not promise I wont ask a dumb newbee question here and there .
