Garrett1234567 got a reaction from CloudedScoundrel in The TRUE AR15 mod
Well I saw the grip I took off my ar sitting in the gun room and thought " that would make a killer mod"
An hour later and I have this bad boy.

I just recently got into vw devices. I picked up a vtr. From what I understand you either choose vv or vw, not both. When you use vw and set a wattage the device reads what ohm your coil is and uses ohms law to set the voltage automatically. I recommend reading up on ohms law and vaping.
Good luck

Not true kngfdrgn. First if it can be utilized in a true mechanical mod then all you have to take into consideration is the amp rating of the battery. Use ohms law and determine what resistance is safe to vape at with that voltage.
Next option is making a box mod using said battery, at the moment tye only high rated momentary switch is a large 60a marine switch, or you can use the tried and true meathod of building a box with a MOSFET, resistor, and any momentary switch you wish.
I have a series box mod I made that runs a 8.4v lipo with a MOSFET, resistor and tactile switch and it functions flawlessly. The lipo is a 60a, but I tend to stay around .5-.7 ohms which uses around 14 amps and 117 watts

Yep, what comp said. Momentary switches are usually rated for 3-5 amp so running a MOSFET with a 15k resistor with allow the amps to bypas the switch. You can stack MOSFET too. One 3034 MOSFET can handle 195 amps, 2 can handle 390 amps.
Face book has a good group called box modders.
If you join read the files and pinned post before asking any questions or you'll be meme'd to death cause all the answers are in there lol

Well sitting here in my gun room I look over and see the stock grip I took off of my ar15. I remembered I had an old ego that quit working so I dug it up and removed the tip, drimmled out the grip and started my next mod

Thanks guys, glad everyone likes it. Hopefully I'll have the supplies to start making these soon. I took it to a few local vape shops and they loved them too and want me to make more so looks like I found a niche in the mod world lol

Well picked up some other grips a few days ago to try and make a duel 18650.
Never have I worked on something that aggravated me so much lol.
After moving the fire switch 3 times I finally got it to work. I need to work on the contacts for the neg side of the battery to make it look cleaner but that's what prototyping is for.
Sucks I have to leave next week and will be gone for 3 weeks, I could sell over a dozen of them right now lol

Felt like tinkering tonight so I pulled some basswood out from the Rc supplies and decided to make a duel parallel 18650 box and make it as small as I could.
Came out to 4x1 3/4x 1 1/8
After I got it glued together and drilled I stained it with some cherry stain I had in the garage. I'm quite pleased with it. What do you guys think?

I started with 24mg a few months ago when I quit cigarettes. After a month I dropped down to 12mg, then I started dripping my own diy flavors and went to 6 mg. after a few weeks of 6mg I went down to 3 and now I'm at 0 nicotine.
You also got to ask yourself what you like more, to have a good amount of vapor when you exhale or do you like the feel if a strong throat hit on the inhale.
Big clouds = a higher VG and lower PG juice and throat hit = a higher PG and lower VG juice.
Just do what ever it takes to kick the habit of smoking, you'll feel like a new person!!

Ok, I'll make it on a shirt. What size and colors do you guys want?
You can post here or pm me.
I plan on making another one that says "Resistance is futile" with an ohm symbol.
My wife has a screen printing machine and a silhouette cutting machine so it'll be easy. She makes shirts and hoodies for her ghost hunting team.

Interesting concept, Garrett... how are you holding the battery in place?

Garrett1234567 got a reaction from jasonculp in Keeping juice fresh in a 5ml tank
The reason it turns darker is the steeping process, when I DIY my own liquid it's clear. I follow a steeping process that takes 2 weeks and after 2 weeks it's got a nice golden or sometimes redish hue to it depending the flavor. My honeydew turns redish but strawberry and cream turns a golden/amber color.as a flavor steeps it will begin to taste different too, more of the flavor is coming out and blending with the VG/PG better

I've been DIYing my own juice for close to 2 weeks. I really like honeydew so I made some of it up at 90/10 VG/pg and 20% flavor. Let it steep for over a week. Dripped some of it and it was just so so, then I added 1ml of sweetener to it and shazzam, perfect drip flavor for sub ohm. I made a 15ml bottle and I'm about to make a 30ml bottle tonight. I've got some strawberry and cream flavor coming tomorrow so I hope I can get it to turn out just as good.

I'm with ya on the struggle. I just got my first mod. I've been vaping on a vamo v3 and a vtr using evods and a kayfun. Now that I got this hades I've got to start the search all over for new flavors

Well I finally picked up my first mechanical mod, I got a hades 26650 with a hades 28mm rda, vapelyfe insulated drip tip, a mnke 3500 mah battery and a 30ml bottle of juice all for 44$ shipped
I built the rda with 28g kanthal and did a parallel duel coil wicked with organic cotton.
It came in at .33 ohms which is well under my safety zone for my battery
Well here it is in all it's glory lol
