  1. I'm with ya on the struggle. I just got my first mod. I've been vaping on a vamo v3 and a vtr using evods and a kayfun. Now that I got this hades I've got to start the search all over for new flavors
  2. Well I finally picked up my first mechanical mod, I got a hades 26650 with a hades 28mm rda, vapelyfe insulated drip tip, a mnke 3500 mah battery and a 30ml bottle of juice all for 44$ shipped I built the rda with 28g kanthal and did a parallel duel coil wicked with organic cotton. It came in at .33 ohms which is well under my safety zone for my battery Well here it is in all it's glory lol
  3. Title says it all, I'm used to forums where I can add attachments to posts. I have no clue how to do it here and I want to show my new mod off
  4. Thanks, I'll definitely use that. But if anyone has made or tried a recipe that's close to starship 1 please post it.
  5. Well I jumped in and started making my own juice last week. I really liked Vegas vapors moneydew (honeydew). I was able to copy it pretty much spot on. My wife likes odd ball flavors and she wanted me to make a kettle corn so I did and she loves it too. I ordered all my stuff from rtsvapes.com and was completely satisfied with my experience so I'll be using them again. Anywho, space jam starship 1 has become one of my favorite gourmet flavors and I'd like to make some like it. Do any of you have any good custard or creamy recipes that I could try? I'll need to place an order for more flavors so if you have any suggestions please post or pm me and links to good flavors. Thanks guys
  6. I just ordered a hades 26650 mod from here http://bubbabossjuice.com/HADES-SUPER-DEAL-with-battery-hadeset-w-batt.htm It's a clone but it's a great deal, and it comes with a 28mm rda
  7. I just started mixing my own too. You'll do fine, just follow the tips laid out in front of you. Go slow and take your time. Here's a calculator I use http://www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php
  8. Do you need to boil the rayon balls before you use them? I boil all my organic cotton balls before making wicks to help get rid of any bleach or chems used in processing them.
  9. I just placed my first order for diy juice. If all goes well and I can make my own juice I like I want to stock pile nic juice for years of mixing. How do any of you store your nic juice for long periods of time, like years... Also how do you store pg and vg for years? I don't see pg and vg being hard to buy but nic juice might become harder if legislation is passed against ecigs. Thanks Garrett
  10. Nice, now where's the pic of the clouds lol
  11. I you just quit analogs then your tastes will change. What I used to like when I first stopped smoking, I don't care for now since my taste buds are coming back. I also have a vtr and love it, but definetly get another tank or 2 so you can switch out on the fly and not have to clean your tank.
  12. Welcome Katy. Tons of nice people here and all the info you could ask for.
  13. I just recently got into vw devices. I picked up a vtr. From what I understand you either choose vv or vw, not both. When you use vw and set a wattage the device reads what ohm your coil is and uses ohms law to set the voltage automatically. I recommend reading up on ohms law and vaping. Good luck Garrett
  14. I fly rc planes, heli's, and multirotors. I use anywhere from single cell 3.7v lipo up to 3 cell 11.1v lipo. Some of my single cells are 45-70c and range anywhere from 100mah to 3300 mah. I guess my question is why is it an industry standard to use li-ion instead of lipo? I think a lipo in a box mod would be easier to build than using round li-ions.
  15. I asked for a sample, I'll report back if it comes
  16. I'm looking to get into mixing juices and would like to find a good flavor similar to a Marlboro. My local shop makes one I love but I doubt they'd tell me the recipe. Any tips?
  17. Just found this post, thanks for the link. I'm about to start making my own juice
  18. Awesome job, love the patina look
