Later Lava Tube...hello Og Buzz(Again)
bobthesalesclerk replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I am vaping it right now on the bus. I am in love again. I have tried a lot of pvs and this is still...by far...my favorite. Best button, best looking design, favorite led, best feel in the hands. . I am a happy person right now. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk -
It depends on what you bought. And yes...as for starter pvs the joye ego cannot be beat. The kgo and 14650 e power are really nice devices as well. Pretty much anything that looks like a cigarette with the exception of the bloog and volt are meh. Also I am basing opinion on the blog and volt from reviews only but if grimmgreen gave it his stamp of approval I trust it to be a good device. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk

Anything from nit cigs is a good choice in my book. Great pvs and awesome customer service! You made a wise choice young padawan. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk -
I use boge standard resistance with a j tank. Don't get anything below 3 ohms with the LT or it will auto drop your voltage. Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet

Time For My Second Unit... What To Get?
bobthesalesclerk replied to Deadpool809's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Depends on what juice you use. I only use bobas bounty(100%vg)and I normally get 4 refills out of a cartos in my j tank before it starts getting a tight draw and tastes kind of off. I could probably get 5 or 6 uses out of one but I choose not to. I usually go through a tank full a day. Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet -

Wow...I just read my post. I really need to turn off auto correct on my tablet. Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet -
I wanted to say before I post this that I am in no way affiliated with this company and get nothing for posting this here. I just wanted to pass this deal on to any new vapers on this forum who are looking to upgrade or are thinking about buying an e cig kit. http://www.madvapes.com/Smok-Tech-510-Ego-Kit-with-Carrying-Case-_p_3337.html ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ You are not going to find much of a better deal than that. If you want to buy an e cig kit GET THIS lol. $38 for an eGo kit is a really good deal and this is a fantastic starter PV. I will close this thread after today.

Cartomizers And High Vg% E-Liquid
bobthesalesclerk replied to twelveday's topic in General Vaping Discussion
With the exception of cartos dying faster(I get a week tops out of mine)I have never had a problem with wicking or filling cartos and I only vape 100%vg liquid and use the condom method to fill. Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet -
Cheapest Place To Buy V2
bobthesalesclerk replied to twilightbloom's topic in General Vaping Discussion
If you have been vaping for 2 years and like a lot of vapor get a mod! There are tons of them with better battery life, higher and variable voltages, and beautiful designs I feel like you would be taking a huge step back from the ego getting a v2! Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet -
Sooooooo...if any of the older members remember every night I was on video chat I was vaping a beautiful purple buzz fro not cigs. Unfortunately I stopped vaping for a little and my buzz was left at a friends house. Well...I ended up going on tour with my band for a little bit and while I was gone my friends in that house ended up moving and my buzz was lost in the move I have since gone through every box in the basement of their new house hoping to find it and have come up empty every time. I recently got back inti vaping and was looking for a cheap vv device. I was going to go box mod route until I saw the lava tube and decided to give it a go. Its was a great pv. Really nice clicky button, easy to change voltage, lonnnnng battery life with an imr 18650...but it wasn't my buzz . I strted watching a bunch of YouTube reviews and decided to throw my lava tube up on the ecf forums to see I'd anyone wants to trade. Less than an hour later someone posted a thread for a blue og buzz, the screwdriver set, and 8(6 of them new)batteries for $80 bucks! I immediately sent him a pm asking for a trade and unfortunately he declined. He did however say that he saw my thread(which I included a much shorter version of the lost buzz story in)and dealt for me. He said if i could get my LT sold by Tuesday he would hold it for me. I ilmediatly put my LT and batteries up for sale for $70(on Sunday)and figured if it didn't sell for that I would lower the price by $10 everyday until it sold. Within 15 minutes I had 10 pm's to buy it and had the money in my PayPal within the hour. My blue Buzz is now on its way I realllllllly wanted a purple one but oh well. When i originally bought the buzz green was my first choice with blue in second but they were both sold out...purple was my third choice. I cannot wait. Yeah I am sacrificing battery life and won't have an led screen to tell me my voltage but the buzz is an awesome pv. I cannot wait to own it again. Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet

Well that is sad you have an unused omega just sitting around! I will pm you my address Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet -
I have been dying for a Silver Vein Omega ever since it first came out. I had only owned a way overpriced e cig, a 510 pcc kit, and an ego kit at that point in my vaping life and wanted a mod. I watched damn near every review video for the Omega and it's competitor(for me) The Buzz. In the end my want for a variable voltage device ended up with me deciding on a purple buzz(which I miss to death ). I got back into vaping a month ago and ended up ordering a lava tube. It's a nice mod but when I started watching vaping videos again my want for a silver vein Omega crept back. Unfortunately I already had a larger mod and wanted something more ego size and pocketable. My eyes instantly lit up when I went to altsmoke.com and saw that they had come out with a 14500 version of the Omega...The Alpha. I began to salivate, sweat poured down my back, and I got a warm tingle in my pants that can only be compared to my first viewing of Titanic when I was 12 years old. I had to have one but they were a little bit out of my price range. Luckily the day after Christmas I was trolling the forums and found a canadian supplier called eletronic-cigz.com having a 25% off boxing day sale. I couldn't pass on the opurtunity to have an Alpha for $70(that $70 includes the shipping!). I bought it and waited for the Christmas and New Years rush. I mail man stalked hard for a good 4 days straight and my stalking finally came to a halt today. I went to the mailbox in my crummy sweatpants and Pittsburgh Penguins hat and saw my package sitting in the mailbox. I was listening to Godspeed You! Black Emperor at the time which made the unboxing even more epic than I could have imagined. It came in a nice little crushed pouch taped together with a sticker that read ALPHA - SILVER VEIN. First off the finish and beauty of this mod can only be described if you have seen on in person. The texturing on it feels great in the hand and the finish itself looks superb. The threads already had noalax on them and were buttery smooth. I was to excited to wait to charge the batteries to full charge(they came charged at 3.9 volts). I filled up a boge 2.0 carto with some Gorilla Juice, pushed the plunger, and took my first vape on the Alpha. The first thing I noticed that kind of had my worried was the button. After using it all day it is not a problem. It's very comfortable to hold in the hand and use and the amount of space on the plunger for your thumb is more than enough. I have been using my thumb and index finger to fire it. It conceals it a big better and is more comfortable to fire. The button is not as easy to plunge as I thought it would be. I couldn't see this thing going off in the pocket as you really need to want to press the button to fire it. It's not to the point where you have to muscle it but it's not a button that fires with a lite touch. Back to the build quality on this device. It is a well made mod. It feels like I could run this thing over with my fathers F-350, pick it up, and continue to vape with it. The finish on it feels great in the hand and is beautiful. It has a nice A at the bottom for Alpha and two evenly spaced vent holds. The seam that seperates the battery compartment from the switch is barely noticeable. As many others have already pointed out it looks like the seam is part of the design and not where you would open it to put the batteries in. It came with a hot spring attached and was one of the two flaws I see in this device. I noticed that the spring on mine is severely bent to one side. It doesn't affect performance at all but when I saw it it kind of thrown off. I have used some of Chads mods before and know he is one of, if not the most highly reguarded mod builder in the PV world. Seeing a crooked spring was just strange to me. The other problem I have with this device is kind of a big one but I feel like it could be fixed with some tinkering. The switch is loose. Not just a little bit loose either. It rattles and I notice it almost everytime I pick up the device or fire it. I have seen some other peoples Omegas with the same issue and I don't know if it's supposed to be like that or not. When I picked it up at first I thought the batteries where not in the device snuggly(is that a word?) but it turns out it was the loose switch. I am thinking I could remedy this by tightening up the 5/8s socket a little but for a mod of this quality I was expecting it to be perfect out of the box. Other than those two complaints this mod has not let me down at all. It is everything I was looking for and then some. I wanted a small 3.7 device that didn't feel like I was carrying around a minature basebal bat in my pocket and that's what I got. The thing is just barely longer than my middle finger and is a great device for stealth vaping. With a 306 atomizer on it it pretty much disapears in your hand and I have pretty average sized hands. Build Quality - 8.5/10(took off a half point for the spring and 1 point for the lose switch...doesn't change the fact that this thing is SOLID) Finish - 10/10 Vaping - 10/10 with LR attys and cartos...7/10 with standard resistance Overall - 9/10 I would highly reccomend this mod to anyone looking for a stealthy, small, pocket friendly 3.7 device to use LR cartos and attys on it. hmmmm...I thought that was going to be a short review Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet

I have never gotten a DOA cartomizer but it does happen sometimes. NOt really much you can do about it. The best thing to do to test cartos without wasting liquid is to put them on the battery and activate them FOR A SECOND. If you hear a quick sizzle or popping sound the carto is good to go and you haven't wasted any of the precious. Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet

Do You Still Smoke Cigarettes?
bobthesalesclerk replied to Christopher's topic in Polls and Questionnaires
I had a few on new years. Barely even smoked them. I forgot how bad they taste even when it has only been a few weeks since you quit. Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet -
I'm loving these atomizers. The drip tips feel awesome in the mouth and they don't leak as much as my 510s. It seems like a few drops of juice has a little bit longer lifespan to me as well. Vapor and flavor are great! Sent from my flashback honeycomb gtablet

Also...no offence to anyone with a provari...it is a beautiful mod. After trying it tonight I like the lava tube better. It may not have all the bells ans whistles of a provari but it is much easier to adjust voltage to taste. Instead of having to press a button 5 times...choose voltage up(or down), adjust, and wait I can change my voltage on the fly. I do wish I still my og buzz...best mod I have ever used. I love my lava tube but I so have a few complaints 1. The button is in an awkward place. Its not bad but it could be a little bit higher 2. The button doesn't fire every time. I have had the button not fire when pressed at least 3 times a day. This is my main turn off on the lava tube. The button. Is very inconsistent(but very clicky which I love ) 3. Its a lonnnnng pv. Not horrible but with a tank its damn long Those are my only 3 complaints. My only other vv mod was the original buzz and I liked it way more..however foe a $70 vv tube mod you cannot beat the lava tube. It is a fantastic pv that I have really enjoyed using...it does have its flaws though. With the exception of those few complaints this is hands down the best vv mod on the market for the price. The provari may look nice but I got to try one tonight and it is the biggest pain in the *** vv mod I have ever used. If you like adjusting voltage to taste the lava tube is perfect! Changing the voltage on the provari to taste is horrrrrrible. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk

OK...just filled a cartomizer with raf juice...I think I might be in love This is a higher voltage vape. I usually rock cartos at 4-4.5 volts but this stuff is incredible at 5.3! Wow...wow...wow...this is an edit 15 minutes after my original post. RAF at 5.3 in a carto is sooooook good! Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk

I got my order in today and I am really bummed I only got 12mils of gorilla juice. I forgot how awesome this stuff is j a carto! The RAF is amazing at 4 volts in an Atty but I really want to try it in a cadtomizer. Once again...i am very very happy with my alien visions order! Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk

I just ordered some LR306 atomizers to go with my Alpha and I am curious. Can't wait to see what the hype is about.
