SOOOOOO Im tired of my button getting hot. I thought I saw some posts about it. but i tried cleaning it with a vinegar bath for a few hours and it worked for a day and now its getting hot again... ive noticed some crud on the silver pin that connects to the battery. im trying to scrape it off and then ill give it another bath. its weird since i gave it a bath it almost all came off and after just a couple days the crud is back? i dont get where its coming from since i barely touch the battery on the negative side or positive for that matter and the inside of the mod I dont touch at all... Anyone have any tricks for a hot button? I though I saw someone put a peice of kanthal between the button and the pin and said that should work but i have no idea where i had seen that...

I vote for this thread to get shut down before somone takes something personal. Would rather not see anything more than to have a chance of things escalating. especially since its all being typed and not actually said where you can hear the tone of voice or whatnot. Lets all just love eachother

exactly what I did. I took out the rubber part on the fire switch but the top cap insulater stayed there durring the bath since it wasnt going anywhere. a couple hours later it was cleaner then it was going in... i think lol I should of taken before and after pics! anyways it feels smoother ahaha Just waiting to get some vasoline or something to put on the threads so they dont lock up again...

I have used both as well my efests are the 3100mah rated at 20A I have found that they work better for me than the vtc4 or 5 for some odd reason. they seem to give me a more consistant vape and the mod itself doesnt get as hot. I havent had any venting or anything to be worried about with either. A lot of people bash efests quite honestly. My go-to battery for 26650 has been the MXJO and im about to get a couple 18650 also just to try them out.

p.s. should i remove the insulators?

I doubt this is the first time this has happenned... maybe we should pin it?

OH MY DAYS!!!!!!! DUDE THAT WORKED! It took 5 seconds haha Youve never seen me so happy to see 2 peices of metal in my life LOL didnt have a cloth so i used paper towel lol... im at work... nuked it for 45 seconds. had time to bring it to my desk wrapped it and held it for 30-45 seconds. then touched the top cap onto an ice pack that i miraculously found in the fridge. it came RIGHT off im amazed honestly. p.s. the big guy i was telking about. you should of seen his face LOLLL

i just thought if its because its dirty or the change in temperature... omg thats it.... the change in temperature.... damn canadian climate.... since vinegar (hey i finally wrote it correctly haha) i guess will dilute any crud on there... might seep into the threads... ugh....

What about throwing it in the vinagar bath while its stuck? is that going to damage the insulators or anything of the sort? im guessing the vinagar is going to seep into the threads and remove some "much" locking it into place no?

I was going to take apart my cartel to give it a nice vinagar bath. and then i noticed the top cap wasnt coming off... I thought i was maybe just tired and needed someones fresh or bigger arms lol. hand it over to one of my collegues who is litterally a fridge. bodybuilder and all.. no joke he is HUGE obviously if im writing here it means that he had no luck... weve been 4 guys trying to get this thing off and it will not move... im hoping the vinagar bath will maybe out of some act of god make it easier to take off afterwards but im hesitant as i dont want it to be locked for good... any problem in putting it in like that? any problem for the insulators to be in vinagar? i havent found anything online saying DONT DO THAT and thats why i am coming to this infinite well of knowledge haha I used to have some grip pliers thing with rubber strap instead of pinchers but thats long gone. the tools are limited to screw drivers hammer and needle nose pliers lol so thats not going to help much. Ive heard of tricks like putting it in the freezer or boiling or whatnot. just wanted to see what you guys came up with p.s. I have searched through a few pages of old posts because i remmebr seeing a member that had a similar issue but... you can tell that if im posting this my search wasnt very successful I JUST WANT A CLEAN MOD !!! lol

hahaha I tend to stick to the builds i like... and im weird and dont like certain numbers of wraps haha like single coil builds always have 7 LOL gotta rebuild the parallel though hopefully its even cleaner this time around! We're creatures of habit!

thats what I liked though. it was SS but with copper accents. just in the top cap another line in the button or lock ring and then the actual fireing button too. it looked reaaaaaaaaaaaally slick lol

I might be completely off and please correct me if im wrong. with a dual coils I get 0.24-25 with 7 wraps around 1.6mm drill bit I usually test it with one coil. and then get that, and then with the second coil and get the same resistance... by memory... mind you I havent made that build in over a month so i might be off lol

this reminded me of my first experience haha i dropped 18mg in there I was so excited to try it. got completely choked up! haha i can only imagine 24mg!!! honestly I havent used anything but 6mg in my dripper. i had a 3mg but didnt like the taste...(there goes 20$ in the toilette for another flavor i cant stand...) if you go towards RTAs, they seem to deliver amazing flavor from what ive heard and have the ease of the tank aspect. personally love dripping. i see it as being very simple and keep safe builds on there once again to stick with simplicity. something about seeing a cloud satisfies me mentally... the flavor is amazing and nic delivery also.

neither have I. i have a vapesox pouch for it.. the inseem did fire the mod once.. i heard the snap crackle pop and pulled it out right away therfore no harm done, not even burnt cotton! I guess the vapesox was really new so the seems were stiffer. never had an issue since. the recessed button is really nice and you can adjust the throw easily.

I have the cartel but not the others you mentioned. I can only vouch for that one. it was great! the feel is amazing the tubes are super thick so it has an awesome weight to it. only thing I would love would be to have magnets instead of spring loaded button. but thats an easy fix! just gotta find the right magnets haha Honestly you wont be disapointed with the cartel. I got the brass one by infinite. 10/10!
