Bump Everytime You Buy Something New
Raptor Vaper replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
That's how my IGO-W6 is with all my drip tips.... Haha -
I run an igo-w6 for cloud chasing right now. It's a quad coil RDA. Well it's supposedly a dual coil/ quad coil but I found it to work best in quad coil mode, 8 wraps 24 gauge kanthal. Check it out!! I have a plume veil RDA on the way. It's supposedly the best of the best. 24k plated deck, "T" center post with 2 positive holes

There have been rumors that vaping is bad for you. What I dont understand is how FDA approved ingredients, VG PG flavoring and nicotine (all harmless) could magically turn bad when turned to vapor. That's like saying steam is bad for you but you should drink a lot of water. I'm half asleep so this probably sounds pretty off the wall and when I'm this tired I can't think straight nor make comparison. I may reiterate tomorrow...

You as well buddy!

Nice and hot build for my morning coffee flavor e-juice. 28 gauge 14 wrap around the smallest dowel on my Kk vapetek coil jig. .76 ohms, nice, hot vape. OK vapor production. Straightened coils out and wicked Vapor Sorry for looking rough guys, just woke up and about to get a shower and head to work! Lol, you guys are lucky I put on a shirt and pants.... Almost ready for the day now... Everything that I take is laid out. And I added a nice hit from a vertical microcoil in my aerotank. Much better than the stock coils!! My tools! Coil jig with the 3 dowels laid out, super sharp wire cutters, scissors, a double ended (flat and Phillips) screwdriver, ceramic pointed tip tweezers and my ohms reader! Time for a nice 8 hour work day [emoji106]

Sony VTC-5. I run Purple E-fest's a lot and conducted a few of my own tests. I honestly don't see why so many talk down on them. Mine hit hard, never get warm and last for hours. Might stock a few of them! 35 A constant discharge and either 60 or 65 A pulse. I can't remember honestly. They have been reliable for the 4 months I've had them

Bump Everytime You Buy Something New

Just purchased an Aspire Nautilus Mini. The Grimm green review pushed me over the edge! My aerotank doesn't give me a top of the line experience honestly. Its good but I hope this Nautilus mini puts my mobile vape over the top (I drip while at work, home, or hanging out with friends). I like to use a tank set-up while I'm busy at work and driving. I drive a lot as well... -
Seriously, look into it. Rip Trippers on YouTube got me into it. The best part about dripping is you will be building coils and will be preoccupied and not thinking about the stinkies!!!

What should my next purchase be?
Raptor Vaper replied to GA_Boy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Well my daily is an iTaste VV and kanger aerotank. Nice vapor and the adjustable airflow is nice. I leave it about half way to pull juice to the wicks. The iTaste is very reliable. Always fires! And being able to charge while vaping is very convenient! Recently got rid of the eVod. It took just a few weeks to crap out. Then I got the iTaste then my first mod! But the aerotank is a definite recommendation from me! -
Take a look at the pin. It should be a flat head style. Or if the bottom pin on your Kayfun is adjustable, give that a shot. I'm not too familiar with those units
-
Just be sure to check the maximum amp rating. Calculate it safely! And more than likely will not be sub-ohm capable. But I still occasionally build 1.0< anyways! Sony is a really good battery manufacturer.

CHEAP 3.7 volt battery tester?
Raptor Vaper replied to VapeHappy's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
You could try the smok omnitester. It has 2 connectors on it. One to screw on your RDA to build and check resistance and one to screw on your mod and check the voltage. I'll take a pic in a second. I'll edit this post Edited: Ohms Battery voltage straight from 510 connection Voltage drop Also comes in a nice case and is re-chargeable with a USB cord that is included. I'd say with cargo shorts this unit is pocketable. Another one would be a battery charger with an led display. I forget the brand, X-Tar possibly? Anyways it has several screens and can charge four batteries and has a switch for slow or rapid charging. Of course that option isnt pocketable... -
Welcome to the forum! Several questions of mine have been answered already, very useful forum!

I sure will, I'm currently rebuilding my IGO-W6 with 24 gauge kanthal to a quad coil set up. Maybe I will have some pics and clouds up soon! -

Thank you! Its a quite quaint little shop, nice people and a great selection. Their mod cases are full and running over. I think my mouth waters and my wallet starts to sob when I look in those cases. I'm not sure if I'll even like cloud chasing honestly. I guess we will see! -

Ordered a plume veil RDA clone. Description states it is a 1:1 replica and offers black and silver color options. The deck is 24k gold plated and has the same post set-up. (Single negatives and dual rotating positive post). Also the description states that it will swallow up 4 twisted 22ga wires with ease. I like to vape around .3 to 1.4 depending on the flavor. A drink flavor such as monster energy or Dr pepper I keep high up around 1.0< for cool vaping and flavors such as coffee I keep at .3<.6 for a hot vape. I ordered the plume veil because my local vape shop has cloud chasing competitions every month and I am fairly good at building coils. The prizes are crazy good and I think I could win some cool gear. I can't wait! -
Welcome! I'm new here but not new to vaping! Enjoy your stay and benefit from very useful advice!
-
Local vapor house mixes! 70/30 VG/PG blend monster energy in my aerotank and iTaste VV combo Then for my rdas, 100 VG Franky Sour melon Dr. Pepper Pineapple Chocolate Coffee The coffee is a great morning flavor especially in a hotter hitting build. Then the fruits and Dr pepper are great in cool builds. Chocolate is best in a warmer build. Loving these flavors!

Looks great! Love the detail!!

I think I'm finally over the urge...
Raptor Vaper replied to MSmom601's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Very happy to hear this! I'm to the point now that if I even get a whiff of someone that has been smoking them, it turns my nose up. Its disgusting! Congratulations! -
Very cool build! I would like more information on building one. I could easily source some beautiful wood and I have the tools to cut, sand and gloss it. I'm also really good with wiring but not familiar with build box mods..

7 wraps. 28 ga kanthal. Micro coil. Vaping on some Dr. Pepper 100% VG. Tastes great and its nice and cold like a cold glass of Dr. Pepper. Makes great vapor too. Loving it Igo - w6 in the background built to .08 ohms with 24 ga kanthal Vapor production. 4 second pull, stayed cold and perfect all the way through.
