I've got an iclear 16 loaded with 24mg nic juice for the analog urge. Works almost all of the time. I did slip last week and tried one with the boss. Damn that thing was nasty and gave me an instant headache. By that afternoon my head felt better and I was back to my mini with 18mg nic. Can't expect miracles and we will slip up once in a while.

Welcome congrats on giving up the analogs. Looks like a good setup and all the better if it fits your needs. It's nice to have a local shop you can count on for a little help now and again. I did the same thing and found 3 great shops near me. They all make their own line of juice and prices are good. When I first started I fell off the wagon a couple of times the first week. I didn't go out buy a pack and smoke them all, just had a few left and had two that week. I'm coming up on 10 weeks with no desire to turn back and dropped my nic level last week which is working good too. I used to keep my setup concealed walking around at first but now I keep it in my hand everywhere I go incase some places are vape friendly. I do limit use in public to outdoors only some people get pissy about things they don't understand and I don't have time to educate someone who's not willing to listen. Anyway have fun ask when you don't know and enjoy not being chained to analogs.

Did the same to mine last night and a couple of silica wick tanks in the past. If it wasn't too bad fill it and after a few pulls it will clear out. The wicking material in the bvc's is a creamic material and seems to be a bit more tolerant to heat than silica wick where you either got lucky or didn't and have to swap coils.

Good article. Thanks to vaping the wife and I are two less smokers in the world. Unfortunately when analogs are a thing of the past vaping will be the next bone to chew. It's already happening a bite at a time. Now the W.H.O. wants a ban on vaping indoors in public places for starters. I'll see if I can link the post from my local news. It was also posted on FB and alot of responses showed the ignorance and intolerance of the public when it comes to anything resembling smoking. Analogs on a decline is a great thing but also a double edged blade. Here's the link to the short article my local news station posted. http://www.kcentv.com/story/26373090/who-urges-stiff-regulation-on-e-cigarettes

Nautilus mini with t sleeve on a spinner. Don't have time to mess with anything through the day or while riding the bike. Still looking at a device for around the house.

Old Skool Geuse (local) Inde: a tobacco blend with a hint of vanilla cream 18mg nic extremely smooth through the nautilus mini. Krusin also (OSG) another 18mg nic tobacco blend with a mild peachy finish thanks Travis at Old Skool for the 10ml samples you were right tobacco made right can get it done. Finally my go to Stars and Stripes at 24mg nic changing to 18mg on the next 30ml another local creation and all of our locals use max vg unless requesed otherwise.

My wife can flog a new coil in a matter of days and I usually get 2 to 3 weeks of solid use in our aspire et-s bdc tanks. All of our juices are max vg except the new ones my wife bought last week. Not sure on our nautilus mini's my bvc is 3 weeks old and still going strong my wife's at a week but going between two tanks at the moment. I run at 3.7v on spinners the wife at 3.3 to 3.5. With anything mileage may vary. I'm building 4 new bdc's for the aspires tonight and factory consttruction sucked. The coils looked like hell legs not seated properly and varying length some even had a leg crossed my coils are right and work way better than factory. Just a real pita to build because of size.

Last longest???? coils, juice in tanks, not sure what you need to know......

As stated reviews are subjective as is your personal experience weather it's gear or juice or what ever. Between this site and 2 reputable local shops I've been able to make good choices in hardware to use. I kept it simple at first with spinner batteries and good bottom coil pyrex tanks. You've got to consider what your needs are ex: I started vaping to quit analogs so a good simple starter kit fit my needs. A few months later I've picked up better tanks and want a good vv/vw apv which should last me until I'm free of the nic cravings and can quit completely or continue as a hobby. It can get overwhelming because there's thousands of choices but at the end of the day it comes down to what you want to do.

I run between 3.6 to 3.8 depending on my coils condition and all of my juice is max vg. I've had my Nautilus mini at 4.0 with no issue also.

Jeez I'm well into my second week on the 1.8 coil with max vg. I wasn't impressed with quality of the bdc coils the factory build is iffy at best found shorts poor coiling and crossed legs in a few. Might be the same build quality with the bvc. When this one gives up I'm going to tear it down and see what it's going to take to rebuild. My wife is just on her first week with the new tank and she's hard on coils somehow. I'm keeping an eye on hers. We have 4 new ones which I'm sure she'll go through first.

I'm going to pick up another mini for a back up down the road. I've been hanging around my b&m and they let people come in and build a few coils free. I was talking with their juice maker and he let me build a few coils, test and wick them in one of his spare rda's. It was interesting and alot easier to see than the bdc's that I've made up for my tanks lately. Although the mini is a great tank there isn't any comparison to rba/rda.

Yup I do alot of hiway miles at times. Get alot of funny looks too lol.......I was looking at RBA but the mini has me happy for now.

Newer to the vape scene, would like some advice

$60 for a spinner and a decent tank??? Little pricy isn't it?? If you go to the fluid vapes link you posted earlier under starter kits you can get a MVP 2.0 energy series with an iclear 16d tank for under $60 shipped. The tank will be fine to start with I use one to trial run my new juices. Save some cash and get the tank you want after that. The MVP battery is 2600mah and will go a while between charges. My local B&M sells smoktech 1300mah winders and Aspire ET-S bdc pyrex tanks with chargers as starter kits for $43 out the door. Shop around you can find spinners from 1300 to 1600mah and a decent tank for way under $60. -
It seemed that mine got better the more I used it as if the bvc had to break in. At first it was better than my other tanks but just a little, after a weeks use it's way better than my others (aspire et-s, protank3 and iclear 30) I'm too on the go for any RDA/RBA on a mod although one day. Kinda hard to drip riding down the hiway at 75mph, but my mini on my spinner fits my needs.

You could way worse lol. That would be a good start it monitors the batteries through the charge cycle. For the money it will do what you need it to do and safely.
-
18mg nic should work fine. In hindsight it would have for us we just didn't know any better. Did you get a good charger for your sid batteries?? Coming from a electronic and R/C background care and charging of batteries is a big one on my list. It hasn't happened to me since the nicad days but rechargables of any type can be hazardous if improperly charged or stored. We used to charge 6 cell sub c nicad's back in the day on a 2 wire charger hooked to a 12v car battery for 15 minutes using your watch to time it. God those things would blow when people forgot them alot of quarter sized dents in doors and fenders then.

Worked for me and the wife. The Blu style didn't at all. Lasted a day then back to analogs. I think our biggest issue was getting our nicotene levels right from the beginning to satisfy the craving. We were at 24mg nic for about 6 weeks and decreased to 18mg last Friday. Also finding a juice you like will help too. I tried tobacco flavors first but burned out quickly.I have 2 go to flavors that I can vape all day now and I have another to try thanks to a local juice maker. You can do it sounds like you have a good starter kit. Alot is mental after you start vaping. I still smoked a analog a time or two after we started but have been completely smoke free since. Welcome.........

No doubt watermelon. Strawberries and cream and my local juice favorite stars and stripes wild cherry cream and blueberry. 24mg nic all vg. Lots better through my new natilus mini now.

Got my mini yesterday too. It's on a smoktec 1300mah winder. Works great and this mini is awesome. Must be the vertical coil, flavor and vapor are way better than my old dual coil aspire tank. From what I've read around the web coil life is supposed to be alot better too I'll know more by this weekend. So far chain vape and higher voltage hasn't produced any burnt taste. I was considering a vv mod and a rba but I'm gonna put that on hold because the mini is doing what I want now.

I've done coils in aspire bdc's and I used 32g and organic cotton for a wick. Worked better than factory, of course when I put it together the coils were even the legs were properly insulated and nothing was shorting. The factory coils were crappy and that's giving them credit. After a few micro builds I've come to the conclusion that I need a good rba. I don't need anything elaborate. I'm going to stay around 1.5 to 2.0 ohm builds. Friends at the local b&m let me wind a couple last weekend and it was way easier then the micro builds I did. Now I have to research and make a selection that fits what I want.

The wife and I both had mild headaches in the beginning. We thought it was part quitting analogs and the 24mg nic it stopped after a few days. We both drink nothing but water through out the day making sure to keep hydrated. I have pulled a mild headache once or twice but attribute it to chain vaping in the evening sometimes.
