  1. I appreciate the safety notice. You guys might not be a million dollar company, but you do the work of one. Thanks.
  2. This is something I have wondered as well. I have straight menthol from DIY Flavorshack and was wondering what to do with it. I will probably do what Kitsune does. I will experiment in small batches to see how it goes with different flavors.
  3. I started out with a Blu e cig and that thing was garbage IMHO. I think that and the Volcano are pretty similar. I shipped it back the very next day. I have found that a device looking cool is way down the list of what is important.
  4. Yeah, I am tired of those commercials. I am a Pc. I am too poor to be a Mac.
  5. I always get these cravings at night also. I will be vaping and all of a sudden I catch myself thinking about a cigarette. I avoid acting out these cravings by not keeping any smokes in my house. If I didn't, after a couple of beers to knock down the inhibition wall it would be all over but the crying. Thankfully, I am kind of lazy, so I don't even think about going out at night to buy any. I just try to think of something else and keep on vapin'!
  6. I have used these exact cartos from electronicstix on my eGo. They just got them in a couple weeks ago. They are sweet. They don't really get too hot and I have been vaping the crap out of the first carto for over a week now and it is going strong like it was new.
  7. Sorry if I am confused, but is this what you are looking for? http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/7366-usb-ego-batteries-now-in-stock/
  8. Good post. That is good info for people unfamiliar to vapping.
  9. My vote has to go to the Joker. Just a fantastic device. Variable voltage is the way to go.
  10. A week ago, I recieved my purple Joker AV and the digital voltage meter. I have been using this thing constantly since it arrived. I now have 5 different units, but looking at it now, I could do without all of them except the Joker. The last pv I got before the Joker was the Silver Bullet. While I really like the SB, sometimes it kills the taste of some of my juices and sometimes I am not satisfied with the throat hit. This Joker is an all in one unit. I have had some juices I can hardly taste, but if I put the Joker at 4.37v, they are perfect. Some other juices, I have to turn it up to 5v. Where as some of my juices were useless in some of my devices, the Joker makes all of them great. Sometimes I wasn't getting much throat hit on the 6v SB, but maybe less voltage is more. I can tune the Joker to provide the best flavor and throat hit. This thing is truly amazing! Its a bit taller than the SB but it is much skinnier. It feels good in the hand. Its not too light, not too heavy. A couple of things I would change on it are the battery cap at the bottom of the unit and the design of the button. The battery cap is ridged and it can be scratch your hand. The button feels like it will definately last, but I would have liked a button with a bit more surface area. Currently it is pretty small and with it being ball shaped, it is kind of pointy. I would have liked a flatter button. The last thing is the color. I got the purple one. It is not a real dark purple, but looks almost pink at times. But in all actuality, that doesn't bother me. This thing is so fantastic that I would use it if it had a Barbie logo on it. If you are wondering about variable voltage and if it is worth the hype, I emphatically have to say yes it is.
  11. Yeah it is not recommended to use LR attys or cartos on a basic 510 model. The eGo/Tornado uses the same 510 attys and carts but their batteries can handle the LR. I use them all the time on my Tornado and Screwdriver.
  12. Welcome to the forum Stacy! Looks like you got lots of great advice here. If you did in fact order the eGo, I think you are going to love it! Happy vapping!
  13. Sorry, I don't have an answer to your questions, but I wanted to congradulate you on your use of whatchamacallit, doodad, and doohicky's. That was hilarious! I feel the same way sometimes.
  14. Sorry, I don't know about using the alcohol. I have never tried it. I cleaned 5 of mine last week. I took a pan and boiled H2O and vinegar. I dropped them in for ten minutes. Afterwards, I blew them out to get rid of the excess water and then let them dry overnight. They turned out pretty good. I was just trying to get rid of some lingering juice flavor that was not so good and this did the trick.
  15. I am so very glad you like your eGo! You got some great tips here. Don't hesitate to ask anything else that cmes to mind. Keep us up to date on your vapping adventures. Happy vapping!
  16. Last week or so, there was a post from Electronic Nic Stix about their new Low Resistance Cartomizers. I went for it and bought a pack. I have had them for a week or so and hadn't used them. Yesterday, the batteries died on my Joker, and then I realized I hadn't charged the other set. DOH! So I figured I would give these new cartos a try on my Screwdriver. These things are just plain excellent. I drip most of the time, but these are now going to be my go to's when on the road. I have heard people talk about some LR cartos getting really hot even during the first puff. Not these. I took 4 long hits in a row and there wasn't much heat. I was impressed. When I drip, I usually use a LR atty. These cartos are giving me the same throat hit and flavor. Just wonderful cartos. I am going to stock up. http://www.electronicstix.com/17-Ohm-Low-Resistance-510-Soft-Top-Cartomizer-Pack-of-5-17ohmcarto5pk.htm?categoryId=-1
  17. That sounds pretty good Roober! I always liked their Alexander The Grapes, but they don't make them anymore.
  18. You are off to a heck of a start. I know how you feel. I was more anxious for the mailman to deliver my first e cig than any Christmas I can recall. Let us know how you like it.
  19. Yeah, I have been everywhere between 3.7 and 6v.
  20. It is one of many shows that I enjoy. Sometimes they find some really cool stuff.
  21. I have 5 PV's (Joye 510, Tornado, Screwdriver, Silver Bullet, Joker AV). I have only had the Joker AV for a few days, but it is quickly becoming my go to favorite. Adjustable voltage is where it is at. I have many different juices, and not all of them are good in one particular model, except for the Joker. If I am not getting a good enough throat hit, I turn up the voltage. Then I will try a different juice on the same setting, and it will be kicking too much. In that case, I turn down the voltage. It gives you so many options. I
  22. I am getting disgusted with the banning crap. OK Tyson (my name) chill out. I cannot fathom the thinking going on here. I understand that the government is worried about this being a glorified device to children. E Cigs were never meant to come out to market as a way to get kids addicted to something (nicotine). I (myself) believe that electronic cigarettes came about because of the push across the nation to be smoke free. Just this last April, Michigan went smoke free in public places (restaurants, bars). I was fine with that. I would go outside during rain, sleet, snow, whatever to have a smoke. It really didn't bother me. Mostly due to having a daughter and I didn't want to subject her to the smoke. When my wife and I bought our first house, the basement became a man cave. I have the bigscreen, movie posters and bar down there. I used to smoke down there. When my wife told me that she was pregnant, I instantly stopped smoking inside and went into the attached garage or back porch depending on wheather. I still wasn't satisfied with the situation. I would go out to the garage and smoke, and then come back inside and play with my daughter Rheagan. I didn't know if the smell on my clothes and person affected her or not. It really bothered me. I found this forum and started using electronic cigarettes. I have been analog free for over a month now and I feel like I am living the life. Right now, it is 2:12a and I am down in my man cave watching Surviving The Cut on Discovery and vaping away. I don't feel guilty any longer. If I am having 1 on 1 time with my daughter, I will not vape, but when I have the opportunity, I do so. This has helped me to keep from smoking for over a month now. Would I want my daughter to think what her daddy is doing is cool? And when she grows up, she is addicted to nicotine by way of an e-cig. Absolutely not. But if a family member of mine was a chronic smoker and was interested in vaping, you better believe that I am going to be a fanboy for e-cigs. I don't know how all of this is going to turn out, but I pray that the powers that be make a rational decision. A decision not based on greed ($) but on how we can better ourselves as a nation.
