Yes you definitely want a second tank. They are easy to drop and break...so a backup is necessary. When switching flavors you can wash the tank out with warm water, but the coil/wick needs a little more attention. I usually pop in a new one when I change flavors. I take the old coil and drop it into a cup of Vodka or PGA (Pure Grain Alcohol) and let it soak over night. I then rinse it in water, and let it air dry over night. This takes most of the old flavor out. Some flavors will never come out. Some people vape many different flavors and keep a separate tank for each one. I am the type that really only vape a few flavors. I keep my All Day Vape in a tank, and I have 2 other flavors that I drip. In the dripper my flavors are close enough that I don't have to rewick when I go from one to the other.

Yes. Your new tank will work on it fine. I'm pretty sure it is a fixed voltage, and will not last too long, but it won't leave you totally without.

I don't know if you heard any positive feedback from any of us when you updated the theme, I for one really liked it. Thank you for giving us the choice to keep the new theme! One thing I noticed when I switched is the social media links. On the old theme the links went to a Vapor Talk related pages. On the new one they go to the creator of the skin, Tom Christian. While following him, he seems pretty interesting, but does not seem to have too much interest in Vapor Talk or vaping in general...lol Keep up the good work!

You have 2 batteries! The one you have now is small and will not last long, but it will work as a back up until you get another.
-
This is just as good of a place as any! You will learn, around here we cross post, thread hijack, and get totally off-topic on a normal basis. Most everyone here are easy to get along with and very laid back.

I hope that thier quality control has gotten better. I have been rinsing/soaking/drying all of mine forever and they are still going (I have about 20 in rotation). I need to get some new ones soon. I like that term. Overwicking seems to be what my problem is more that real flooding. They don't leak. I just get juice on the top of the coil, in the space below the drip tip, and the worst...in my mouth.
-
I will say, I think it is me. I think my vape style changes and they go to leaking. I have noticed that some days my mini floods all day, others it's never a problem with the same coil, juice and no cleaning. I do know the temperature has a lot to do with it. Hot days with my higher PG juices 60PG/40VG...it floods much worse. Of course the PG is thinner and it gets hot the juice gets thinner. I have been getting 50/50 juices and it seems to be a little better. As my tastes change, I think I will be getting higher VG juices. I don't need the throat hit like I used to.

Here is the batteries from Vapor Talk store. http://www.vaportalk.com/product-category/ecig-batteries/variable-voltage-ecig-batteries/ Here is some of the tanks from Vapor Talk store. http://www.vaportalk.com/product-category/tanks-clearomizers/ecig-tanks/ You might be able to get it cheaper in a kit like this one: http://www.vaportalk.com/shop/kanger-evod-2/ Bebop and Tam may have some other links to stuff they recommend to beginners. These are just a few that come from a trusted source. This is my daily setup that I use: Tank: http://www.vaportalk.com/shop/nautilus-mini-airflow-adjustable-tank-system/ Battery: http://vapenw.com/ego-variable/istick-by-eleaf I also carry 2 extra tanks, 2 batteries, chargers, and 15ml of juice with me in the car. (just in case) Analogs, Stinkies, and other slang words are used to describe "regular" tobacco filled cigarettes. (the kind you used to smoke...lol) Good luck and keep asking questions!

I think Comp nailed it. It looks like a eGo style battery, with a cartomizer. I am no expert by any means. I would look into a tank style atomizer that you can refill yourself. This will give you many more options when it comes to flavors. Your battery will fit any tank with a eGo or 510 connection. If you are trying to get by cheap I would go with an iClear plastic. If you want to spend a little more I would look into Kanger Pro Tank mini 2, or an Aspire ETS. These are metal with glass tanks. They will hold up to tank cracking juices better than the plastic. Of course as you will learn around here I have to preach backups, backups of backups and so on. It never hurts to have a couple extra batteries and tanks, just in case! Welcome to Vapor Talk!

Aspire Atlantis...This looks interesting!

Well no such luck on the interchangeable coils. This video says they are larger, with much more wicking for high VG juice, and larger air holes... -
Aspire Atlantis...This looks interesting!

I am really hoping that the standard BVCs for the mini work. I am pretty happy at 1.8ohms and 11 watts. I guess it would be nice to have 2 so I could sub ohm on one. I really like the looks of the tank. I have never been a fan of the looks of the nautilus or the mini. I like the more industrial look of this one. Not so curvy and fancy looking. That is why I run the SS T tank on my mini with a different drip tip. I hope they come out with a 5ml version. -
I just emptied my All Day Vape bottle into my Nautilus. It has 3 flavors from my local B&M they are all fruit/drink flavors. I topped it off with Fadors's fruit mash.... It's great! I am mixing it up with a Vanilla Cafe Latte in my dripper!
-
That is great. I got burned on a couple of ego's and Protank 3 minis. It was from a B&M that I would frequent on my route. I never confronted them about it...I just took my lumps. It all worked fine, but the tanks would flood bad on me. I paid it forward to a friend (with a full disclosure of knockoff status) they worked fine for her...lol

That is a nice looking mod. I could do without the engraving on the sides, but I really like the copper. I would rather have a SS with copper, or somthing like the Paragon that is mostly covered with carbon fiber... I am way too lazy for copper...

Perhaps the Best Vaping Review of ALL TIME
jasonculp replied to copper's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Thank you for posting this! I have really had a hard time making my mind up. I don't feel like it was a really fair review though. He was comparing two similar products that are designed for completely different applications....lol -
You are correct sir. Thank you for the reality check!

I am just glad you are not having any problems any more!
-
That is my entire problem. I jump in to any addiction with both feet! I have never overcame addiction, I am just addicted to healthier and legal things (no drugs, just caffeine and vaping). I can still drink. I quit for 15 - 16 years. Now it isn't a big deal for me. I can drink or not. I don't get stumbling any more. I wouldn't say I have out grown it, it just isn't important to my life anymore. I quit drugs in 1995, but I can say with no uncertainty that it would cause a problem in my life today if I let it back in, it fits my lifestyle... It is kinda sad to be a 44 year old professional with 19 years clean under my belt, and still know it could cause a problem.

This part made me envision bic lighters.... I used to tap the flint flecks out of one into another causing sparks (they were actually little pieces of material that would catch on fire when dropped on the flame) This made me think of the little wires/material from a dremel wheel or possibly steel wool particles arcing and falling through the bottom of the button, or even copper shavings...who knows. I was just trying to figure out if they were falling out, or arcing. Sorry it is just how my mind works....or I guess evidence of how it doesn't...lol
-
I totally believe it! I don't know how many times I tell myself: "I don't need that..." Then buy it. I have at least 10 things I don't need on my want list!
-
I was hoping that someone with a little more experience with mechanicals would offer up a little info! I am not familiar with the Fuhattan switch. Are the sparks jumping from one point to another on the mod, or actually falling/jumping away from the mod?

Both programs, I have been in, I went clean. I had been off of drugs for years. I went to support friends/family. The constant one up story telling, and the large group of like minded people (addicts) pushed me to places I didn't want to go. That is only how it went for me. I have many friends and family members that have found much success with them. I know they work for the right people. I think with my current spending, we may need a support group for excessive vapegear spending. I have slowed way down, but not quit. At least it is healthy!
