  1. LOL! I don't know. I think this is pointless. The board is huge! I have been trying to draw up a box that I could have 3d printed, and it isn't turning out any smaller (with dual 18650s). Possibly more ergonomic though...lol
  2. Cool I will look for it. I have seen nobody that has done a lipo/SX330 build! I thought I was the only one dumb enough to tear up a perfectly good ipv3...lol I don't even know where to start!
  3. I just ran across this and thought some of you Atlantis users might need it: http://www.kidneypuncher.com/the-kraigen-8ml-atlantis-tank/
  4. I have had good luck with them. I still have not built a mod from scratch. I keep planning one, but other projects keep jumping in the way. I am currently wanting to rebox my ipv3. The only problem is there really isn't much room to spare. I am currently thinking about using a 7.4v lipo. I am not too worried about bigh mAh more with size. The board is long! I will take pictures of it once I dissasemble it again and ask for suggestions, in a new thread.
  5. I have had great luck with these guys http://www.varitube.com/ They don't have DNA stuff, but they do have quite a bit of DIY parts. I have personally had better luck with their 510 connectors than I have Fat Daddy's. This is just my opinion, many others have had the opposite!
  6. The big thing you need is the DNA Board and they are around $50 most places that I see them. The rest of the stuff is pretty cheap. What type of enclosure are you wanting to make/buy?
  7. I shouldn't have done it, I really don't have the extra money! It just really caught my eye. The brass/black has a hand tooled leather look to me, it is one of the first box mod (that isn't a hand made custom) that has been really visually appealing to me. I will definitely do a review when I get it (which will probably be in March if it works like most preorders...lol)
  8. Ok, I went and read about this mod, and I think it is going to the top of my list. I was going to get the Vapor Shark DNA30 (not a RDNA) They are on sale for $99, but I really like the looks of this one! It does concern me that asmodus as been known to have very poor customer communication when dealing with pioneer4you warranty work, but usually gets things resolved eventually. The darker version looks amazing! Thanks Earthling! this one has not been on my radar. Edit: Dang it....couldn't stand it. Black and brass version pre-ordered...
  9. There are so many new ones hitting the market! Cloupor Mini iStick mini iStick 30W http://www.vaportekusa.com/eleaf-istick-30-watt-pre-order/ iStick 50W Sigelei Mini https://originvape.com/product/sigelei-mini-30w/ IPV mini MVP 3 and on and on! I really like this new trend, but so many decisions! and I am running out of money!
  10. I noticed that too. I really like the way it looks, but I don't know if I would like the way it feels in my hands. They said on Reddit that it is slightly taller than MVP2. I like the 510, the side mounted button, and the fact is is supposed to have a genuine Evolv chip in it. Too many new mods coming out that I want!
  11. Taken from Innokin's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Innokin.Technology
  12. I get mine here: http://www.vaportalk.com/shop/aspire-nautilus-bvc-coils-2/ They are $12.99 for a 5 pack. I have seen them cheaper, but for quality, service, and support of this board, I don't mind paying a little more.
  13. The Nautilus/Nautilus Mini are great tanks! The mini is just a bit small for me. The new eleaf tank is a: Eleaf GS Air I have been hearing good things about it buy I have not tried it. The new Joytech Delta 19 is another tank many are using on iSticks. I have one and am very pleased. It seems to have about the same airflow as the full size Nautilus and about the same quality of vape. It is an expensive tank. It is going for around $37, and coils are $3.50 each. I have been using it around 2 weeks and have had no problems. It seems to work great in the 13 iStick watt range with my juice. I do get a bit of juice in the driptip at this wattage. If I will stop and clean it out a bit (paper towel in the drip tip and blot under it) it really helps. My mini does the same thing at the same wattage.
  14. That is right! I guess it could be just another phase of vaping I am going through....lol
  15. It is the closest thing to hitting my specifications out there too. I just wish it was a bit mini-er..... I have decided that I am happiest with a tank and don't really need over 20 watts of power. I still have my mechs and my ipv3 and drippers. The reality of it is that I do 95% of my vaping on the go and I like the taste from my Nautilus/Delta better than I do RTAs and Drippers. I understand that there is much more flavor from Drippers and RTAs, but I prefer the taste of my juice from a tank!
  16. I really enjoyed it! Of course my wife says I like weird stuff. I was trying to watch "A Million Ways to Die in the West" My blueray will not decode the DTS so it has no voices. I tried changing all of the settings, and none come through except the one with the narrarator explaining the scene. I replaced my surround processor (Yamaha) when it died last year with an LG... It has been a big mistake. I guess I need to pull my other blueray player out of the shed...
  17. This is not the only mistake in the coil section. I have been meaning to alert someone to this: http://www.vaportalk.com/shop/aspire-nautilus-bvc-coils/ Show the description: While the picture is of the coils that fit K1, BDC, ET, ET-S,CE5,CE5-S If they will fit the Nautilus, they will fit the Nautilus Mini....so far as I know. To my knowledge, and according to the aspire website, there are 3 series of aspire coils 1. Nautilus/Nautilus Mini a. BDC b. BVC 2. K1, BDC, ET, ET-S,CE5,CE5-S, Vivi-Nova a. BDC b. BVC 3. Atlantis I could be wrong, but it looks like they have part of each description reversed.... http://www.vaportalk.com/shop/aspire-nautilus-bvc-coils/ http://www.vaportalk.com/shop/aspire-nautilus-bvc-coils-2/
  18. $130 is getting a bit pricey for my blood. I would love to have it though! I have wanted one for a while, but all I can find in the $50 - $70 range have the YiHi clone? in it. I wanted it to put a genuine DNA30 or 40 possibly, once the original chip died. I was hoping one would show up locally so I could hold it, but it never has. (well it may have, but I am done with my local B&M's, since Comp has figured me out a juice I like) One reason I want to hold it is that I don't understand how the cover works. How does it stay on? The one I really like, looks like a zero, but polished brass the body is solid wood and the battery is removed through a screw on cap in the bottom.
  19. I am with comp on this. You might be able to convert it to VV depending on your electronic capabilities using a Naos Rapter, or an OKL2-T20. It would be extremely challenging to get a display, fuses and a variable resistor in that top part... Other mods not mentioned, would be the ipv mini, and ZNA clones.
  20. Give me a few months! I don't have access to any modern cad programs. I am just learning. I can draw some decent 2D stuff with a lot of measurements, but, I am in no way proficient. I have just started using Sketchup (formally Google, now trimble) to get an iStick cap printed in 3D. In my job I have to do a lot of 2D drawing. I measure the gasket in the field and draw it. I email the part to our "real" cad guy and he makes sure it is clean, then sends it to the waterjet to be cut. Lately he says he doesn't have to clean up my drawings...lol
  21. I am in the same boat as you. I am spoiled to the size of the iStick. It just fits me good. I bought an IPV3 and thought I could use it when driving, but it is just too big. I have been waiting for the Cloupor mini to come out, but I am leery of Cloupor's reputation. I really like the looks of a Zero mod, but can't find anything but clones (within my budget). I don't mind clones, but I don't want something I have to rebuild later. The only thing I have found lately is ready to go is the Vapor Shark. I prefer the small one, but the RDNA40 looks good. The XPV comp posted is also on my radar. The ipv Mini, and the YiHi mini don't appeal to me visually, but the ipv Mini can be bought around $50. I have currently paused my quest and am gathering parts to build my own. I know I will spend twice as much doing it myself, but it may be worth it.
