  1. I think I am going to have to pick one of these up later this month. I really like the concept.
  2. I am with you on this. I only run (now) VTC4's and have a few purple EFests and 1 xtar. I am really not using any of them now, because I mostly run my iStick. I have seen all the charts and graphs that will black and others have posted, but they are greek to me. I love techie stuff, charts, graphs, meters...etc. I just don't understand them when it comes to batteries! I am also with you on the lipo batteries. I would love to come up with one to replace the dual 18650 setup in my ipv3. I just don't know enough about them either....
  3. I have the same trouble as you guys. I usually let a little juice get on the gasket to make it slide easier when I put it together, but I do seem to over tighten it a bit. I have never had a problem, but it has been stubborn to get apart. I also have had the trouble with the coil coming out with the top part. I have never figured out why it is doing that. I happened most if I am trying to drive and refill the tank at the same time...so then I have to pull over. I have quit doing that...lol it was dangerous. I wish they would come up with a 3+ ml version. I have switched to the Delta 19 just for this reason. The full size was too big and the small is too small...
  4. I guess I have turned into a total iStick fan... I have had them over 2 months. I have not had one single problem with it, except that it is so small I don't like the way big tanks look on it. The only tanks I like on it so far is the Nautilus Mini and the Delta 19. I have been running the Delta for 2 weeks and so far it is a winner. I just wish coils were cheaper! Monday was 2 weeks and I have ran nearly 30 ml through it and it is still going strong.
  5. Yes! http://sweet-vapes.com/apvs/eleaf/eleaf-istick-mini-full-kit.html Size: 23.5mm * 21 mm * 52mm Color: black, sliver, red, blue Capacity: 1050mAh Voltage: 3.3V-5.0V Wattage: 10W max Connection: 510 (Includes 510 - eGo Adapter)
  6. I totally agree with the hex screws, and lack of a magnets. Mine came with both hex and phillips screws. I did the 165 watt upgrade and the ohm meter is spot on to .01. (more accurate than my RBA tester) I took it to a buddy who checked it on his fluke, and a much more accurate 4 wire resistance tester used for instrumentation. The battery springs are terrible as they will tear up the covering on the batteries (if you aren't careful). Another problem I found is a nick in the positive wire leading to the battery. Overall I just don't care for it. It is too big for me, and totally un-necessary for the type vaping I am doing. I rarely drip any more, I don't use RTA's any more, and I very seldom go over 15 - 16 watts. It is fun to use though. My nephew came in on leave over the holidays and it was fun to watch him try to hit it maxed out with a .33 ohm dual coil setup on it...lol
  7. This really makes me fee great, and jealous! Every time I have taken a hobby and made a job out of it, it took all the fun out of the hobby and made it work... I am not at the "dream job" status...yet. I do love what I do, but there is too many things keeping me from doing it like I want. I can't complain, as a B2B salesman (Manufacturer's Representative/Territory Manager) I get to travel, eat well, help people fix their problems, drink a lot of coffee, and visit a lot of people on someone elses dime. The down side is our company infrastructure sucks, we are headed in the right direction, just need a few more years of progress.
  8. This is my first attempt at 3D printing (Shapeways). I made a new top cap that will work with the VariTube spring loaded 510 connector. This is version 1. Version 2 will be about the same (it is already on its way). I am going to have to fix a few things in version 3...lol It takes a little force to get it on, and I missed the radius just a hair on the front side. I also made the holes too small for the screws. This thing really doesn't make a lot of sense, because the new version (30watt iStick) fixes the issues. It also costs about $20 by the time you get the 510, printed cap, and shipping for all of it, and iSticks are going for around $30 and up. I just wanted to see if I could do it.
  9. It is just like every thing else... I don't need it, but it is new, shiny, and pretty cool... I still want it...
  10. Sounds like some great equipment! I have had great luck with Amazon. I have bought quite a few vape related things from amazon and all are authintic. I paid a bit more than I would have from a normal online vendor such as the Vapor Talk Store, but I had gift cards from hotel points. Watching points programs and catching sales (2 for 1 points from hotel lines) allowed me to get nearly $800 worth of stuff off of Amazon. (not all was vape stuff)
  11. I don't know if would work for you, but I use a juice made by one of the premium vendors here on the board. His site is http://www.fadoravapor.com/ He goes by Compenstine here on the board. The flavor is not listed on his site. It is called Frutti-Tutti. It is a blend he made of 10+ fruit flavors. I can't even tell you what it tastes like. It tastes different each time!
  12. Cool! Wotofo seems to really be popping up a lot in the clone market. I have been hearing a lot about them lately. There pages seem to be down: http://www.wotofotech.com http://www.a-modvapor.com/ Thier Alibaba page is up: http://wonderfulsz.en.alibaba.com/
  13. I have the IPV3 with the 165watt upgrade. It is sitting on my desk disassembled. I just don't have much use for it. I don't drip much any more. It is so huge, I don't like the way it feels in my hand. It might be better with a wrap on it. I have considered reboxing it, but after hours of drawing in sketchup I can't gain much in size due to the length of the board and dual 18650's. I could do it with 18350's but I don't feel safe because of the low amp ratings of 18350's. So I will probably do a magnet upgrade and wrap it...
  14. Cool! Is that from Aspire? I have seen Kidney Puncher's version, but this should have been a factory option.
  15. That it too cool! I want a set. I don't rebuild much any more, but I still want them. I wonder if they would help me make a BVC for my delta?
  16. I noticed this too! I don't like the way it is setup. I have been looking at it and the 50watt is probably not going on my list. I might buy a 30watt, but still not sure. I have a 2 of the others (My daily one and one that I am waiting on a 3D printed cap for a spring loaded 510). I have plenty of backups, so I may start looking for somthing higher end for daily use. I am hoping the Colossal fits the bill, if not I may get a VaporShark. I am perfectly happy in the 20 watt range with my delta 19. I am also looking at the eGrip, but need some "real world" feedback.
  17. I totally understand! I preordered the asMODus... I have been thinking about an eGrip, vaporshark DNA30, cloupor mini, and an MPV 3... So much neat stuff...so little money!
  18. What are your opinions of this now, after some use? I am getting really tempted to pick one of these up since I am having such good luck with the Delta 19. I also like the fact they have come out with a RBA adaptor so you can build your own coils! http://sweet-vapes.com/apvs/joyetech/joyetech-egrip-rba-base.html
  19. Here are the official specifications from eLeaf: iStick 30 watt http://www.eleafworld.com/product/detail.php/istick-30w.html iStick 50 watt http://www.eleafworld.com/product/detail.php/istick-50w.html
  20. I love mine! I don't use mechanical mods much any more. I enjoyed it because of its simplicity. Be careful with it though, the semi-hybrid top, no lock, and no adjustments makes it easy to auto fire!
  21. This is another strange thing about flavor/heat/airflow make it hard to find the right combination for yourself. I have found that if you change any one of the 3 it can drastically change your perception of the juice. When I took a juice I love and tried to run it in an RTA it tasted terrible(to me)! I can totally understand why bcartervol98 likes the single coil/davide combination, because it produces the correct combination for him. I have had juices that I tried in the store that worked great in the little iClear16s but tasted terrible in the Nautilus. Then there are even more considerations. I bought the Delta 19 because it's looks and size. I don't like the looks of the full size Nautilus on my iStick, and the mini didn't hold enough juice. I think all of these variables is what makes vaping far superior to smoking. Sure you can buy different brands of cigarettes, but that is all you can change. With vaping, you can change it all! The guy with a eGo twist and a plastic clearomizer can be just as satisfied with his vape as the guy with a 200 watt, quad coil dripper!
  22. I for one switched because I couldn't make them work for me. I am sure it was something I was doing wrong. I switched out of pure desperation to find a tank that wouldn't flood. I had the protank mini 2, protank mini 3, and protank aero. I am positive that not all of them were bad, so it was me. I picked up a Aspire ET-S and it worked great. I eventually got a full size Nautilus and never looked back. I am currently using a Joyetech Delta 19. I am loving it, so far, the coils are much more expensive than the Nautilus. I am hesitant to recommend it to anyone because I don't know how long the coils will hold up. I am hoping Kangar will come up with a new tank that will fit me so I can try them again. I like the look of the new coils, but don't want sub-ohm or such a large tank.
