I don't have any reading for you, but I share your interest. I especially am a nut for WWII aircraft. I have been very blessed to live in Breckenridge TX where my dad was an aerial sprayer (crop duster) Breckenridge at the time had a great WWII aircraft collecting community (old oil $$) It was also the home of one of the best restoration shops in the country (still is) My best friend was the son of the owner. It gave me access to things that many people never get to see. I have played on, and ridden in a lot of them. I left Breckenridge as a freshman in high school (1984) and lost touch with them. My job has allowed me to reconnect with them and even do some custom work on one of their projects last year (Rare Bear).

No need to feel hopeless, there are many people here to help you! It sounds like your not getting a good connection to you atomizer or coil. First check your pin inside the connector on the MPV. Make sure you are not pressing the "fire" button and gently take an object and make sure it will up and down. This is spring loaded and can get stuck. If it moves up and down it is ok. Next take your Nautilus and push in and out on the the little center pin in the bottom of the atomizer and make sure it is moving in and out with a bit of resistance. If this is moving in and out and it is clean, it should be ok. Next pull out the drip tip and turn the tank upside down and remove the glass so you can get at the coil. This might be a good time to pull out the coil and make sure everything below it is clean. Pay special attention to the spring that contacts the bottom of the coil make sure it is there and clean. Make sure the oring is on the bottom of the coil and put it into the base. Check the center pin that screws into the MVP and make sure it is clean, and the threads too. Now screw the base assembly back into the MPV and Press the "P" and "U" Buttons for 2 seconds and see what the atomizer is reading. If it still shows the wrong ohms, we may have a bad coil, or another problem. Post back and let us know!

I have heard this and many other misconceptions about vaping. The niece that got me started...quit vaping and went back to smoking because vaping causes cancer.... (she is not too smart and neither are her friends) I am pretty sure that vaping will cause your babies to be born naked though, sorry.

iStick 20W can't settle on resistance
jasonculp replied to Earthling789's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
You got my curiosity up so I had to go check it out for my self. You are correct! I never ran the full size Nautilus on the 20 watt. I ran the mini. My mini has a longer 510 center pin and a much stronger spring, and the delta does not move at all. I run the full size on my 30 watt, but it is spring loaded and the pin is smaller diameter! Makes sense to me! -

I agree. The 30 watt has many improvements and is the one they should have put out in the beginning. I still have my doubts that the spring loaded 510 on it is any more durable than the 20 watt, but is still spring loaded. I was going to pick up another one next week and then disassemble this one and see how much different it really is. I love mine! I just wish it was a bit higher in quality. -

Dang...I hate that y'all are having trouble! I guess I am lucky as mine have never given any trouble. From looking at my first one (which is disassembled) I the positive wire runs really close to the fire button and like joejoe said, it sounds like it is getting a bad reading from the 510. I am not sure, but it could be the connection to the positive pin, possibly a cold solder, or movement of the pin has weakened the connection. I think (like Tam just said, and I can't type fast enough) I would send them back. I have had great luck with mine, and so far the 30watt looks even better! I am still reluctant to recommend it until I get more feedback. -
Dang! I hate to hear that. I really wanted one of their "Workhorse" mods. Since I don't use my mechanicals anymore, I have not got one....sad.

Welcome to Vapor Talk! I have the same trouble from time to time with the Nautilus. I like running mine on the hotter side, and it can cause the spitting. Earthling is right, the only thing I have found is to use a little longer drip tip and keep paper towels handy to clean the inside of the drip tip occasionally and the top part of the tank. It is kind of a PITA, but it is the best option I have found.

Bump Everytime You Buy Something New
jasonculp replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Got iStick #3 in today. It is the 30 watt version. It does have a spring loaded 510 and the threads also look great! I also got my much needed coils for my Delta 19. -
Joyetech delta II(Subtank, Atlantis killer)
jasonculp replied to joejoevapekins's topic in Share the Latest Vaping Products
I have the 30 watt on the way. It is supposed to have spring loaded 510, and lots of other improvements. I will let you know by the end of the week! The delta 2 is a great looking tank. I am loving the Delta 19 I am running now, except for the cost of coils (you think aspire is high!) I like the idea of juice control, but it only seems to be on the subohm coil. I really don't like my juices' taste in the subohm range. I don't like my dripping juices enough to use in a tank... I am the world worst at flooding a coil! I get unburned juice in my mouth with any tank I run so far! I have just learned when it happens to clean everything above the coil...it gets old... I guess this one will have to go in line behind the SubTank mini and the iStick 50 watt, but before the SX mini, and the VS DNA30... -
I was just noticing that when I select a product, that no price shows up on the page. I may be missing somthing. It can add it to the cart. I can only see the price before I click to go to the product's page, then not again until I add it to the cart. This could be by design, or not. I am using Windows 7, Fire Fox 34.0.5

They have the ipv3 for $139.99 in the Vapor Talk store: http://www.vaportalk.com/shop/greenleaf-pioneer-ipv-3/ I don't mean to knock this mod. I do have it and I do like it. I just have small hands and it is way too large for a daily carry rig for me. It functions flawlessly.

I do think it looks much better than my ipv3. It looks much more comfortable to hold. I wish I could stuff my ipv3 into a smaller box.

New Kanger Sub Tank Mini and Nano
jasonculp replied to Compenstine's topic in Share the Latest Vaping Products
When will these be available? I am ready to give Kanger another chance. The Sub Tank was just too big. I will get a Mini and/or Nano as soon as I can find them available. (And a 5 pack of 1.2 ohm coils) -

I have been reading about the SX mini. That thing is SWEET! I really like the lines and hear very few complaints....except the price...
