  1. I am. I didn't even take pictures. I really like it, and if nothing happens it will be my all day vape tank. Here are some other thoughts on it: I think I need to get busy and review the Sigeili 30 Mini too. I am already seeing some minor problems, the switch is having an issue and I am going to have to take it apart to see what is going on. (It works fine, just a weird "double step" push that feels like something is broke or moving in the box.)
  2. My wife's family was from the valley, but she was born up here on the plains. When I managed a cotton gin my night crew all came from the valley. They would have their wives make extra food and share it with me. There is nothing better than a hot cup of coffee and a mystery taco at 4am after changing a motor outside in the blowing snow! I miss the tacos but not the work!
  3. It is really common around here. My wife, who is Hispanic calls it "cheek meat" for us white guys. I have not eaten it many times, but it reminded me of roast beef. The small town I live in is probably 80 percent Hispanic and 20 percent hillbilly and we do have many unique dishes. We have a large population of semi-legal people from Mexico, it is a different culinary culture. Normal stuff during the summer it is goat roasts, calf fries, shrimp/crawdad boils and regular barbeques. I am not too adventurous myself.
  4. First Build, I kinda screwed up. I guessed at the mandrel size and it turned out to be 3.4mm I did 6 wraps of 30 gauge. I came out to 2 ohms. I was shooting a little lower but it is working ok. At 15 watts it was pretty close to the flavor of the stock 1.2ohm but much more vapor. I ran it up to 20 watts and it is just a little too much for me. Flavor is really intense and the vapor is great. This haphazard attempt has shown me that I can make the RTA work and if I ran out of factory coils, it wouldn't be a problem. I will keep it at 15 watts and run it for a while. I hate to make early predictions, but this is a versatile tank. I think with the factory 1.2 coils and a lower/middle airflow setting it is a good upgrade from the Nautilus and Delta 19. I have not built anything SubOhm, or used the .5 ohm coil yet, but I am fairly sure it would produce adequate vapor for most RDA users with the proper juice. It is a fairly good value for under $40 + shipping. 2 coils, build deck, extra orings, and an extra glass tank.
  5. Had a parts guy get the picture on his monitor turned 90 degrees clockwise today and he was freaking out. I knew immediately what he did, because I have played the joke on others, but I have never seen anyone accidentally do it!
  6. This kinda concerns me about the health of your iStick. It was working fine before with same combination wasn't it? Changing your juice could make a difference but not that much. At the 3 volt selection, in voltage mode it should be putting out 4.16 volts on a full charge. It will be even less when your charge is below 2/3 according to things I have read. I can't test any of this on my own, I don't have an oscilloscope, yet...lol After re-reading this, the pro tank mini is working fine on both? and the pro tank 2 only works correctly on the Spinner? If so could it be a coil issue?
  7. I have been looking at these. I have been waiting for someone to come out with a review. I have bought too many small box mods lately and have one more in a preorder. I don't know what my obsession with these little boxes is!
  8. Great Vape Mail day! Kanger Sub Tank Mini 5 1.2ohm OCC coils Sigelei Mini 30 Watt iStick 30 Watt (#2) Quick impessions: Sub Tank Mini: Killer with the 1.2 ohm coil and middle airflow setting. I am replacing Delta/Nautilus with this! Sigelei Mini: Very nice, more accurate ohm reading than iStick, cool silicone cover, magnetic door for 18650, 510 is on wrong side. iStick 30...just like my other one I gave away (PIF) today.
  9. I can totally understand. I thought I really liked big clouds and big flavor all the time, but it isn't true...the flavor was "harsh"...the best description I have heard! thank you. I seem to run a bit hotter than you. I am currently running my Nautilus at 14 watts. It seems to work fair, but I think my juice may be slightly on the thin side to run this hot. I seem to inhale unburnt liquid if I chain vape. I really want this to work. I will be happy if the factory coils work, I just want the option. I didn't give the Billow a fair shake, I tried about 4 builds on it, then went to my dripping build, which worked great, then filled it with my dripping juice and vaped myself dizzy...now I no longer like my dripping juice...
  10. In the article don't they say they are heating Propylene Glycol to 1000 degrees F in order to get this. I don't even pretend to know what temperature I vape at, but haven't I read that the DNA 40 guys vape around 500F ? I would suspect that 1000F would be possible but could you vape it?
  11. I am an all around aircraft nut. I do really enjoy the history of WWII. I just don't read much about it. I do really enjoy the stories of the guys who were there, I have lost 3 in the last few years and don't have many left. One was a radio operator in a plane that flew "the hump". The other 2 were trainer pilots. I also love going to the Museums. I wish I had the patience to read. I can read tech articles, magazines, blogs...etc. I just can't sit and read books. Even a movie that is over 2 hours is too long! All the books I have read in the last few years, either took many months, or I listened to in an audio book. Don't get the wrong impression. I can sit on my butt for hours at a time...I am fairly lazy... I just have a short attention span!
  12. I know I am a little weird. I do like the large vapor, and the big flavor, but sparingly. I only use my drippers about once or twice a month. I am really on a hunt to replace my nautilus/delta for my all day vape. The Delta 19 was great on flavor and has more airflow than the Nautilus, but kept getting unburnt juice in the drip tip. I cleaned it 5 or 6 times a day but the heartburn continued. The other down side was the coils are even more expensive than the Nautilus. When I got the 30 watt iStick i switched back to the Nautilus. It has been ok but just want to try something different. It may not be the tank for me.
  13. You are exactly right! I do plan trying it with all the supplied coils, and may just stick with that. I just can't resist trying a build on it!
  14. I will try that. I know it is a strange request, most people want more flavor and more vapor. I just want what I am getting in my Delta. It is slightly better than my Nautilus, but only slightly.
  15. I have a Sub Tank Mini that will be here tomorrow. I also got a 5 pack of the OCC 1.2 ohm coils. I really don't like all of the builds I have done with RTAs and my all day vape. Most of them was dual coil ranging from .33 all the way up to 1.5 in the Billow. I tried closing airflow and opening it up. I have since parted ways with the Billow. I want to try this again with the Kanger build deck when it arrives. I don't want a flavor blasting, cloud chasing build. I want something that is close to my Delta or my Nautilus, but that I build. My juice gets overpowering with the 1.5 ohm dual Tiger coils that Comp made for me. It tastes great, but too intense for me. I have 32ga, 30ga, 28ga, and 26ga Kanthal. I have organic cotton (balls), silica, and rayon for wicking. I can make twisted wire if need be. Any advice would be appreciated!
  16. My all day vape, before Comp came up with the Mash line, and Frutti Tutti, was a mix of 3 juices from a local B&M. I was vaping 3 different tanks and one day I just mixed them out of laziness and it stuck. I really like a complex flavor. Frutti Tutti http://www.fadoravapor.com/ has a unique and very fruity flavor. I may taste one flavor one time of day and another later...it is nearly like having 4 or 5 juices...
  17. That is a sweet looking RTA! I sure wish I could learn to like them.
  18. Of course I love the "techie" side of his reviews, and he thinks of things I never would. If you have not watched the review...do it. It is only 36 seconds...lol As for the Mod. I think it is just sexy. I wish I didn't have 2 mods on the way and 2 on preorder... (of course all 4 of those will not cost too much more than the 1 SX-Mini) Not to mention the Kangar Subtank Mini on the way... I have spent way too much this month on vape gear and I am going to have to get a refill from Comp in the next week or so....but Vape Mail is going to be great!
  19. I want one of these so bad. I don't need it. I can't afford it. I still want it. http://www.varitube.com/SXmini-Box-Mod-_p_171.html I was really wanting Busardo to come out with a review, and give me a chance to save money. Here it is...lol:
  20. Well, I really don't understand it either. She is 22 and and is highly susceptible to persuasion by the wrong people. Not to mention not the sharpest pencil in the box. I have quit talking to her, or her mom due to some very poor life decisions, in fact decisions much worse than smoking. I've been trying for close to 10 years to get them on the right track, but some want to stay in the rut. I owe my niece a lot for getting me back into vaping after multiple failed attempts. I just can't stand watching the train wrecks!
  21. Apparently all of the first ones came with the white ones, and later ones will come with the clear. I think it is on both the 25mm and the Mini. The Nano does not have a RTA build deck. ** The bad insulator is only on the RTA build deck. It apparently is not a problem on the larger 25mm tank. (Different build deck) If you are running the OCC coils it isn't a problem.
  22. If you have an hour to kill... Kinda funny, I ordered the coiler he is using last night (out of China ) and the mini this morning from the US
