  1. Well you really can't mess up at this. Worse thing might be burning up a coil or something. You will be an expert in no time!
  2. I usually start at the lowest wattage setting and work my way up. You can do the same on voltage setting. You will know when it gets too high, either the vape will get too warm or the juice will start tasting burnt. I usually start on wattage and go up in 1 watt increments then once I find a spot that is close, fine tune as necessary. Hope this helps!
  3. That sucks. I got mine for $49.99 + $2.00 for shipping insurance. I guess they were selling too fast!
  4. I never had problems with mine, unless it was a hot day and I was using 50/50 juice at a high wattage. It would take a few vapes to clear it out, then it was fine. I would turn it upside down and vape it (so the juice was above the coil). This would help sometimes. I also got a bad run of 1.8ohm coils 2 out of 5 worked ok. Another thing is I always had bad luck with the 1.6 ohm coils. I don't know why, but they seemed to leak more.
  5. I don't think you are the only one. I saw a post recently from Earthling that he has experienced the same thing. I am curious if vaping style has something to do with it. My KPTs that I payed forward worked perfectly for the people I gave them to. I never could make them work. I am sure it works the same way with Nautilus. It worked great with my vape style and not so good for others.
  6. I personally could never get the Kanger Pro Tanks to work for me. They all leaked and gurgled. When the new coils came out, I tried them again..no luck. I got Nautilus and it just worked. When they came out with the BVC coils it was even better! I did break a few tanks, and bases, but they never let me down. I eventually got a joytech delta (the first ones) and it was a bit better than the Nautilus. I now run Kanger SubTank Minis and wouldn't trade one of them for two Nautiluses (Nautili?)
  7. I don't know if anyone is looking for one of these, but they have dropped from $99.99 to $49.99 with free shipping! This isn't the rDNA with the replaceable 18650. It is the smaller one with the lipo built in. http://www.vaporshark.com/advanced/mechs-mods/dna-buy-now
  8. I really like the KATO. I wish someone made one that size and shape with a YiHi board or DNA that would hold my Subtank Mini.
  9. I totally understand. I had quite a few KPTs and could not make them work. I loved the BVC coils. Now the new OCC Kanger coils are my go to. I am going to try to learn to build the RDA so I don't have to buy any more coils. I have made a few coils for it but have not found a build I like.
  10. I have done some research and the board is authentic YiHi and it is a great board. I have a buddy that has a ipv mini v1 and his board is identical, just they are programmed different. I really like mine, but i find myself picking up my ipv mini v2 more often. They both work identically, but the ipv feels a bit better in my hand. I do personally feel that the YiHi boards are just as good as the evolv DNA boards, but that is just my opinion. I have only owned 1 DNA mod, and I traded it for non vape related stuff. It worked fine.
  11. I think I gave about $7/each for the ones I have and I couldn't be happier. I have since seen them a bit cheaper from probably better amazon vendors and good vape sites. I never knew how much better I would like a swappable battery! I keep 2 spares in my backup kit. I am really enjoying this ipv mini and subtank mini setup. (now if I can just learn to build the RBA better than the stock coils) Thanks for the suggestion!
  12. Does it have a little double ended female piece? I had to have one to adapt it to the male 510 from an atty. I'll try to get a picture up...
  13. I think I will too. I am up to 10 (My first pair of VTC4's are still as good as my last pair) I have never been too hard on batteries, very seldom do I ever subohm and I never let them get too low.
  14. I have also heard that LG HE2s are good too. I guess I need to do some more research. The -25Rs and the LG HE2s are more reasonably priced!
  15. I bought some the other day and was surprised they were different. I never saw an announcement or anything! I never had any trouble with mine, but the juice I was running in it liked 15+ Watts and it wicked fine. I keep the Nautilus and about 10 coils as backup now on my iStick 30. I am using my subtank mini now and very happy with it.
  16. I had read about them, and I found a 4 pack on Amazon. I think as I retire my VTC4s I will replace them with -25Rs. I don't use my mechanicals much any more and I think these will work great in my box mods.
  17. And now they have the new, new BVC coils with larger holes and cotton!
  18. Welcome to Vapor Talk! I am using: IPV Mini V2 with a Kanger Subtank Mini Frutti-Tutti by Fadora Vapor: http://www.fadoravapor.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_9&products_id=216
  19. Samsung INR18650-25R Is it just my imagination, or are these some long lasting batteries? I have been running Sony VTC-4 in my Sigelei Mini 30W and in my ipv mini v2. I recently picked up a few Samsungs to try out and it seems like they last quite a bit longer than my Sonys. I only run 20 Watts with a 1.5 ohm coil and the Sonys are dragging pretty bad by the end of the day. I made it all day yesturday, and through lunch today before I had to change it. In fact, it was still showing more charge than my Sonys would at the end of the day, it was just a convenient time to change it. I bought these off of amazon and they seem to be great, but I see SlowTech is selling a do-it-youself Samsung battery kit http://www.fasttech.com/products/1/10012801/2155701-18650-battery-sleeve-pvc-heat-shrinkable-tube
