Looks good! I will say from the last two videos, I don't see how we vape high VG! It doesn't wick good at all...lol

It makes sense. You are using between 45 and 59 watts depending on the state of charge your battery has.

Heatvape Mini 50w Mod With Temp. Control
jasonculp replied to Rixter's topic in Share the Latest Vaping Products
Cool! I really like mine. I think the coil broke in and went it to tasting good. I want to buy a bell cap like Rixter, and an oring kit. I am really starting to enjoy this Temp Limiting stuff. My mod may be a bit off, it is showing .11 - .12 ohms. I am finally getting it set the way I like it. I may try come up with a nickel build for the Lemo2 this weekend. I have been using one last night and all day today, and I really like them. I have ran nearly 10ml of Frutti-Tutti thorough it. I realize our mods use different settings, but I am running it at 420F and 28 Watts and it is great! It did seem like it took a while to break in, and I did drip a few drops into the middle and each side to prime it. -
I am sorry! I do like it though. You can definitely see that Peaches and creme is very slow to wick unless it is PG! I wish I had the time to try to learn video editing, but I am just covered up. It looks like it takes quite a bit of skill! Good Job!

Pretty cool! I know absolutely nothing about video editing. I think you are correct music would make it livelier. I feel like you could find some good public domain music out there. It would be cool if you could split screen all 4 at the same time with a timer at the bottom. (of course I also think it would be cool if I had a new truck, house, and my debts paid off...lol) I know this might require more time, effort, and money... If you could show them all at the same time it would be a dramatic effect, and would cut the time down on the video. All that being said, it looks great! It is far better than I could do with my resources! I can't wait for the finished product!

Sounds like you are set! Just don't do what I did today. I left for a business trip this morning to call on customers 200 miles away. I was going to spend the night and come back in the morning. I packed a box of 4 batteries. I got about 100 miles down the road and my battery died. I tried the first one...dead, second, third and forth... dead....I didn't pack a charger. I had my trusty VaporShark DNA 30 backup, and it worked. I plugged my Sigelei mini in and tried to charge the battery...it took forever! As luck would have it I got done by 4:00 so I cancelled my room and drove home. Sitting on my desk was another box of 4 batteries and they were all charged.... -

Heatvape Mini 50w Mod With Temp. Control
jasonculp replied to Rixter's topic in Share the Latest Vaping Products
My mod has a different chip in it and so far I am really liking it. I hope the coil breaks in and the flavor gets where it needs to be. I have started my temp at 340 and have worked up to 400 now. I may keep going up. I am running my Sigelei mini at 30 watts with a 1.2 coil in the other SubTank Mini and it is still a tiny bit hotter than the Zero with the Nickel coil. It is a bit annoying. On this chip if you have your watts too high it will show TEMPERATURE PROTECTED and cut out for a split second then go back to working. If I lower my watts it happily adjusts very quickly. I have heard that is a good tank! I personally enjoy the Sub ohm tank's. They have much better airflow. That being said they use more juice, most need a bit higher VG liquid, but overall a more satisfying vape, in my opinion. -

In the last week or so: Good used SubTank Mini 2 - Efest 18650 2800mah 2 - Samsung INR18650-25R 2 - Carbon Fiber Wraps for my IPV Mini 2 (Blue and Red) Zero 60W Temperature Control VV VW Mod (Clone) Details about the Zero: *Standard load:1Ω, Resistance can be normal working: 0.06-5Ω *Wattage can be adjusted from 7W to 60W, 0.1/click *Temperature control setting:200-600F(AKA100-300C) *Nickel Wire Purity Setting: adjust from 1 to 100. The higher purity the wire is, the more should adjust. *180 degrees Screen Orientation turn over function *Screen display Output Power,Coil Resistance,Output Temperature/Voltage and Battery Capacity *Adjustable copper pin *Working with one 18650 battery *Battery life protect: Low voltage warning function *With Short Circuit Protect and Low Resistance Protect Function *Chip protect:High Temperature Alarm Function *83mm*45mm*24mm I really like the size/weight of this thing. I love the color, it is black chrome, but if you are OCD like me, it is fingerprint colored...you need to wear gloves to keep prints off of it. -
I will pile on. I am going to try my hardest not to buy a tank that does not include an RBA. I love the Subtank mini. I have been really tempted to buy an Atlantis 2, but keep talking my self out of it. My current all day vape is a Lemo2. I don't really use the RDAs anymore, but I would still like to have a freakshow mini. I will say that they are not building many tanks like I want. I tried a Kayfun 4 the other day, and it is a bit restrictive, and most open airflow tanks that are coming out are dual coil. I don't like them as much as the single. The build deck is too small to use the wire I want and stay in the ohm range I like.

Heatvape Mini 50w Mod With Temp. Control
jasonculp replied to Rixter's topic in Share the Latest Vaping Products
No. It is just the nature of Nickel wire. They use nickel because you can calculate the temprature due to the resistance change in the coil. The one I just got is showing .12 at rest and at 370 degrees it is showing .24. You can run the subtanks. I am finding there is a large option for nickel coils out there for them as well. My question on the subject: Have y'all noticed a difference in flavor? I am going from a Lemo 2 .9ohm coil using tiger wire at 30watts, to a Subtank mini with a .1 ohm coil at 370 degrees and 27 watts. It is much hotter and the taste is a bit off. Is it the Nickel? or is it the attomizer? I have been running the 1.2 ohm coil at 30 watts and it tastes just like the lemo, possibly better. -
I have thought about it. I love the Innokin quality, my MPV has been bullet proof. I really need one more mod, but I really want to save up for the SX Mini M Class. The only other drawback for me is that is doesn't have a removable battery. I have built up my collection of 18650s to the point I can charge on the weekend and vape all week... It is nice.

I like it. I just wish they would make a single coil RBA for it. I have the Goblin, and it is difficult to build on (small). Do you think they have the same size deck? -
This is on preorder for around $50.00 Details <stolen from another site>: 40 watt capability that fits in the palm of your hand with an amazing ergonomic feel, the Cool Fire IV by Innokin may be small but it sure does pack a punch. With a wattage range of 6.0W - 40.0W, that can be adjusted in 0.5W increments, and a voltage range from 3.0V - 7.5V, adjusting in 0.1V increments. A 2000mAh battery powers this device, providing a sufficient amount of power for anyone on the go who wants a small unit. The Innokin Cool Fire IV is able to fire atomizers all the way down to 0.3Ω allowing you to fire most of your favorite sub ohm devices. A spring loaded 510 will ensure all of your 22mm atomizers sit nice and pretty.

I am not sure of the last numbers, but my IPV3 with the 165 watt upgrade has worked flawlessly (it does not get daily or even weekly use). I also have a SX330v2c in my IPV mini 2 and it has never given any trouble.

We need it so bad. My office is in Lubbock, and I live about 30 minutes away. I know where to avoid to stay out of the water...lol, but when I am traveling it is a different story. We are so flat around here, when we do get rain it doesn't have too many places to go!
-
Man, we need the rain, but could sure do without the damage. I have to make a quick trip from the Lubbock area to the Wichita Falls area this week and they are predicting storms.

I would look at the sx350 mini and the sx350j mini. They do have buttons, and the gravity sensors. Check out busardo's sx mini review to get a better idea on how they work. IMO the best board on the market. I want to like the DNA40, but they have had quiet a few issues and they keep upgrading it. I don't want to buy one and them add features that I won't get. The yihi board is upgradable.

I have built quite a few dream mods in Sketch Up. I got mad and deleted all of them...lol Using Sketch Up and a few other tools you can upload any design to Shapeways and have it printed in some of the best quality I have found. There are few others popping up that do good work too. Sketch up is very easy to use once you get the hang of it. The few things I have had printed came out great! If you are looking for IMO the best 510 connection and boards available check out this site: http://www.varitube.com/YiHi-SX350-DIY-Parts_c_23.html I have one of the 14mm ones on my MPV 2 and am putting a 22mm on my ipv Mini 2. They sell all of the YiHi Boards too.

Oooh, Black/Yellow or Black/Lime...That would be cool. I love custom, cool looking mods. I have my ipv mini 2 totally dissasemblemed due to the paint peeling. It is in the first stages of it's rebirth. I have stripped all the paint off of it, and have wet sanded it, and done the first polish. You can see yourself in it. I think it is going to be a fingerprint magnet. I will probably wrap it, but the exposed parts will be polished and chrome looking. I also have a Vari-Tube spring loaded 510 I am going to install. There is nothing wrong with the original, but the Vari-Tube looks better, and is higher quality.

This is a cool looking kit. I like the colors! The black Mini looks great.

Most of those charts were made quite a while back and are no longer really helpful (with the current tanks). That being said, Tam is correct, start low and work your way up until you are happy!

I have recently switched from 24 to 18. I really had not planned on doing it. I also notice that I am vaping less now than before. I, like Earthling, think I will have to keep some high nicotine stuff around to get through the rough patches!
