  1. I need to look into that more. I have DirectTV, and no other real services. I really have not looked into downloading. All of the hotels I stay at have good televisions with extra HDMI ports. I need to build me a media server. I am not sure exactly how to pull television from the Dish into it.
  2. I really hate to get too into these things, because I will finish the system in a month or so, at least my part. We will probably wait until the first of the year to go live. We are planning a few weeks of training, then running a dual system for a few months and transitioning around the first. I assume I will be expected to stay in for a month or so after the transition. I will then be on the road again. Most of the motels/hotels I stay in don't have great channels. I guess I could watch the shows on my laptop, but wifi is marginal at best in most of the ones I stay in.
  3. I will check out Banshee. I was watching Grim, and iZombie. I have not watched any of the others. I will look into them. Lately I have had so much database work to do, I just watch them while I work (over the top of the screen of my laptop). I need to get outside and get a life, but until I get this new computer system going, I don't get to have a life.
  4. I get the same thing. Once I explain to them I don't smoke, they ask when I plan on quitting vaping. They are utterly confused when I tell them at the present I have no desire to quit vaping.
  5. Ok...dangit. I am up to the 4th episode of the 1st season of Penny Dreadful. I am now hooked. Like I needed another one....lol
  6. You know from reading both of your posts I think I have come to realize that the person you want to help has to really want to quit. The last ones were wishy-washy. I should have seen it. I think vaping really only works when you really have the desire to quit. I know that for me personally, when I started, I didn't want to quit, I just knew I needed to. That is one reason it took so long to stick. I went through months of cigalikes before I finally got a decent rig. Even then it took a push from a great girl at a vape shop. (Sad thing is she has since slipped back into a a bad drug habit and lost her job) It wasn't until I smoked the last cigarette, out of the last pack, out of the last carton, that I made my mind up to never buy them again, and I haven't. It is hard to believe that it has been over a year since I have smoked.
  7. Great story! It always feels great. I have given away most of my gear that I don't use. I do have a MVP 2.0 to work on if she ever brings it. I am going to put a 14mm Varitube 510 in it. Thankfully it is her backup. My desk/workbench is a mess. I have been trying to convert an old silverware organizer into a vape stuff organizer and rebuild station. I am not much of a carpenter, so it isn't going too well. On another note. I ran into the couple that I gave my last bit of PIF gear. They were smoking, not vaping. It kind of sucks. Oh well. Hopefully when I get more it will go to someone who is trying.
  8. I will. I have been hearing a few people on another board using them to build vertical coils. I am really enjoying the big open airy tanks, and this has caused a problem since most that have the airflow that I enjoy have dual coil RBAs. It is very difficult to build these for use with Temp control. I have got to the point that even my Lemo 2 is to restrictive and the SubTank mini is only marginal. I never wanted to be a "cloud chaser" but I really enjoy the large, thick vapor, that it produces.
  9. Here is what it says on VaporDNA's site about coils for the SauceCode: I hope they are truly compatible across the board. I have ordered a new RBA. It is kinda janky so I also ordered the new Triton RBA section. I hope it works!
  10. All I can say is WOW! I stripped the threads out on my Project SubOhm SauceCode's RBA. Vapor DNA didn't have a replacement in stock, so I picked up a pack of Herakeles Ni200 coils. It is a .2 ohm Ni200 vertical coil. The airflow is amazing. It has great flavor in the SauceCode. I doubt I will run into wicking trouble with it since I am using 50/50 juice. If you are a MTL vapor and want a great coil with good flavor and great airflow this one is good. It works in quite a few different tanks.
  11. I understand being too lazy to build coils. I enjoy it, but sometimes just don't feel like it, and I get very frustrated when they don't work like I want them to. From what I read about the mod, it seems to be pretty good, but I think to really enjoy it's potential, you might have to break down and start building. I would suggest getting a coil building ohm meter, some 28 gauge Ni200 wire and a good RDA. (I use a Velocity clone and love it). It will work great with the tanks you mentioned, even better if you get the temp control coils. It is worth the extra effort in my opinion. I have a couple of Pioneer4U mods, the ipv mini 2, and the ipv3 (the old one) and have never had a minutes trouble with them.
  12. Poor cany. Do you wake up at night seeing that?
  13. I just checked out the description, and it looks good. I have the first season downloading. Thanks! I agree. I tend to use my television as an escape lately. I know it is not the best use of my time, but it is keeping me a bit closer to sane.
  14. I have been watching it. I personally think last year was better, up to this point. You are correct, it is getting better. I watch Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex on Showtime, Game of Thrones, True Detective, and The Leftovers, on HBO,and The Knick on Cinemax. This is why I can't make myself turn off my very expensive DirectTV. I use the DVR to record them and watch when I get a chance. The only other things I watch is MMA, Big12 football, and big 3 network shows.
  15. I have got one, I am thinking of getting a couple more. They can be bought in the basic kit for less than $30.00. It has become my all day rig, for the last few weeks. Unlike Phil, it lasts all day for me. I think they will hold me over until the ipv mini D2 hits the ground.
  16. Here is Phil's take on the iStick TC40W. He gives it a thumbs up, which kinda surprises me, he has never seemed to like Eleaf products.
  17. I don't see a thing wrong with that! It looks great! Mine do that too. I even get that on factory Ni200 coils. The one I am vaping now in the SubTank Mini was a .15 when i started and it is .13 now. I agree with DragonGunner. I have not been able to make a decent coil lately. I broke the SauceCode's RBA, but I have a new one, and one for a Triton on the way. I may make another attempt tonight.
  18. It is scary for the industry as a whole. I think there will have to be some lawsuits to clarify the wording. There seems to be 3 different opinions of what it does. 1 it stops all sales of vape related products unless licensed by the state, 2 it only covers liquid, or 3 it only covers B&Ms. I am not good enough to decipher the law, but it is scary.
  19. The problem I see is Arkansas is making up their own definitions. It is not Federal, it is State. Here is a link to the permit information, and instructions: http://www.atc.ar.gov/forms/Documents/REVAPORBUSINESS.pdf Here is a link to the SB978/ACT1235: http://www.arkleg.state.ar.us/assembly/2015/2015R/Pages/BillInformation.aspx?measureno=SB978 I don't speak leagaleese, but my simple mind sees this as very bad for the vapors in Arkansas. This thing was not on my radar. I got an email from change.org that linked here: https://www.change.org/p/u-s-senate-u-s-house-of-representatives-president-of-the-united-states-reject-the-fda-s-deeming-of-vapor-products-as-tobacco-products-3810d737-ccd4-4595-a600-50f3f0c55934/u/11521264?tk=E2xEjZNc0YO6ZOA-USf_H1xFEFuIAJ8tM56O9-ecfQk&utm_source=petition_update&utm_medium=email
  20. From what I am reading in some other forums, they are classifying even 0mg juice as a "tobacco product" in Arkansas. You have to have a permit to send to the state and only to a retailer who is licensed. I think the wording will be revised after a lawsuit or two, but I would definitely check before sending any to Arkansas.
  21. I may stick my toe in the water some day. I do want the option should I need it. I am a pretty good cook, I have won a few cook-offs. I have Brisket, Spare Ribs, Chicken, and Chili down. I am not great with steak. I can do fine, but not exceptional. I have a certain hole-in-the-wall place that makes a steak like no other. If I go and buy one like they cook me, it would be close to $30 locally (Dry Aged/Prime). I could buy one and cook it, but it is hit or miss. I can spend an extra $20 and go to a real friendly place and get it cooked perfectly every time, with some grilled vegetables, that I can not replicate at home. If it isn't up to par, I can send it back. I feel the same way about my juice. When I went to Comp to replicate my old all day vape, he tried it, and and recommended his fruit mash. It wasn't the same, it was better. The supply of Mash dried up (well it was not consistent due to the nature of what it is), and he made Frutti Tutti to replicate it. In my opinion, it was better than the original. If he sends me some, and it doesn't taste the same, or there is a problem, he will fix it. (it has never happened) I have not felt like it was worth the possible savings in money. It also might help out a great member of the board at the same time. All of this said, I still would like to buy at least enough supplies, and find a palatable blend just in case it becomes illegal, or highly taxed.
  22. I have pretty bad allergies. I have never had a great sense of smell. I do very good with food, but I like it spicy. I have tried to describe certain flavors of juice to other people and when they taste it they tell me I am wrong! I want to try mixing my own, but, I know it would take quite a bit of capital. Another problem is I really like layered flavors, ones that combine many different flavors to make one flavor. I am also picky...lol
  23. What is strange with me, is I get overpowered by the flavors of many juices. I just can't pick out individual ones. I am the same way with smells.
  24. I really envy y'all that can DIY juice. I still have not regained my sense of taste, you would think after a year it would come back, but it really hasn't. I can tell if something tastes good to me, but I can't pick individual flavors. I am pretty good with food, but not vape flavors. I am pretty happy buying my juice from Comp, but with all of the new laws, it would be nice to be able to make my own. If what I am reading is correct you can't even buy juice over the internet (as an individual) in Arkansas. (of course I don't know how they would ever enforce it)
