I really like the looks of the Triton V2, and I already have the RBA for it. That is my main criteria for new tanks. Must be direct lung, top fill, good factory TC coils, and an available RBA. I was thinking about getting all 3, but I when I find a vendor that has one of the tanks cheap, they don't have the other 2.... Multiple shipping kills all of the discounts.
-
I only paid $36.49. I bought lot of other stuff too so despite the wait, I hope it pays off in the end. (It rarely has for me) I wouldn't order off shore to save $10, but I bought 6 mods and had a discount code. They ended up costing an average of $31 each, shipped. I got another NEBOX, (2) Wisemec 75TC, (2) VTC mini, and the RX200. I have been in hoarding mode lately. I got the 6 devices coming, 2 spools of wire (430SS and 317L SS), and DIY juice supplies. I am still shopping for tanks. I just don't have one that I trust to buy mutiples of. I am looking at the TFV4 mini, the Crown, and the TritonV2. I just have not pulled the trigger yet.

Well, tell me how it is! I ordered mine out of China, with the cheap shipping, so you may have enjoyed, and replaced yours by the time mine gets here.

I just ordered the RX200. I have read quite a bit about it and most are very pleased. I think the TC learning curve has caught a few users, but you have been running TC long enough you won't have any problems. I am starting my stockpile, and a triple 18650 looked like it would be handy at times. I have not had an iStick since the 40Watt TC, but I personally have had great luck with them. I have thought about snatching up a few iStick 60W to add to my stockpile. I don't know anything about the Herakles Plus. I do like the way it works, and I had great luck with the Herakles Ni200 (not plus) coils in my Saucecode.

I am excited about SS. I have not got any coming yet. What is a good source? Messing around with the Wire Wizard on Steam Engine it looks like the 430 has the best TCR, then 304, and 316, 316L, 317L are all the same. I need to get some on the way. Since I gave my VTC mini away I don't have a TC mod with true adjustable TCR. My old Zero mod has a TCR adjustment, but it will only fine tune Ni200. I have the RX200, and Wismec Persa 75 TC, and a couple more VTC mini's on the way (slow boat from China) The word on the street is the RX200, and Persa's chips are all made by Joyetech. Since they are all have updatable firmware, I have hoping they will all receive the adjustability.

Merry Christmas! Have a blessed New Year!

I don't know if i would call it nice....lol It is doing the job, but could be much better.

I am sure it will work for me, but not as well as a DNA200. I picked up a couple of VTC mini's because the latest update allows users to set TCR on a few presets. It's no escribe, but better than nothing. The funny thing is I am really enjoying the NEBOX. I need to buy a couple of backups, they are actually getting scarce, and going up in price. IMO it is probably the worst TC mod I have, and it is in the bottom 50% of quality of vape of any device I have.... but I really like it! It slips in my pocket, has huge juice capacity, the RBA is easy to rebuild, and it has pretty good battery life (at 40W)

I understand what you are saying. I put my Velocity on my D2 with a dual Tiger Wire coil and vaped some Coffee Your Way. It is a good feeling with the ever-increasing heat that gets hotter the longer you hold the button. It has been so hard to not let my nerdiness take over and get a DNA200 just for escribe. I have done the tutorial a couple times, just so I could understand what it does. It allows you to customize just about everything about the mod! I am just having a difficult time pulling the trigger. I bought 5 mods, 1 tank, and 1 RBA plus shipping for less than a new VaporShark DNA200. It makes it hard to justify. (for me)

That kinda sucks! I have one coming, but I ordered it out of China. So I won't know for 7 - 14 days...lol. I am hoping that the updates bring new features.

If I am reading correctly, and I didn't realize it, but it has no variable wattage, or voltage. I am getting the info here. 3) Direct output voltage system is applied in the iStick basic. The higher the battery level, the higher the output voltage. I am not sure I would care for this. If it is truly battery voltage, with a .5 ohm coil. It will only put out 27 watts with a fully charged battery. This is assuming a 3.7 volt battery.

I am not sure if anyone has read this or not, but I found it here. By Tim Devaney - 12/21/15 02:23 PM EST Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) on Monday fired back at House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) over her opposition to electronic cigarettes, writing in a letter that they could “very well save my life." “Yes, I vape — as do millions of other Americans,” Hunter wrote in a letter to Pelosi. “And why do I vape? It is because it prevents me from smoking the real thing.” In the letter, Hunter criticized Pelosi for her efforts to restrict the availability of e-cigarettes. Last week, she sent a letter to fellow lawmakers noting that Democrats killed a policy rider in the government spending bill that would’ve provided for greater access to e-cigarettes. Hunter also detailed his own struggle with tobacco products, dating back to his time as a Marine. “E-cigarettes are a suitable alternative to cigarettes, and they could very well save my life, as well as the lives of so many Americans who are making their best effort to quit cigarettes,” Hunter wrote. “Ironically, by not supporting the commercial availability of e-cigarettes, with all their advancements in recent years, you are giving your support — whether intended or not — to traditional cigarettes and other products,” he added.

lol... It is the result of a combination of OCD and an addictive personality. I have always given in to new shiny stuff. All a vape company has to do to get me to buy it is come out with something new. I am getting a bit more picky. I am kinda obsessed with the small single 18650 mods. That is what most of my mods are. There are a few more out there that I want. The Reuleaux is not the normal type of mod for me, but I want it. I have just about settled on the RX200 and later the VaporShark DNA200.... but I am sure I will change my mind a few more times.

I don't want to panic just yet, but I don't think a stockpile will hurt. I will probably trim the order down a bit. I still have 11 VW mods ranging from 11 watts to 185 watts. I also keep a couple mechanicals around too. I am hoping that post Christmas sales gives me a chance stock up.

Have had quite a few different eLeaf products and they have worked very well for me. This one has caught my eye, being like the NEBOX, I really like the all in one unit, but with a removable tank. It will accept any 14mm tank and the magnetic connector is innovative. Pretty neat. I have shied away from it just because I am not sure how much airflow the tank has. The NEBOX is on the low end of airflow for me. I want much more airflow. Like @FXRich I prefer the the removable battery, but have had very good luck with eLeaf's internal battery. Let us know how you like it!

Pay It Forward I have given away well over half of everything I have bought to people just getting started, or people that can't afford to keep their equipment going. The hobby has probably saved my life, and if any of the smokers around me even hint at quitting, I put a rig together for them (from my spares). So far I have only got about a 30% success rate, but I keep trying!

Cool! Enjoy it. I have 2 VTC mini's, a Crown, 2 Persa 75W, and a RX200. I just can't make myself pull the trigger. I am trying to build up my stockpile of small mods, as I have PIF most of them. I can't stand being with less than 5...lol

If you have replaced the coils, and tried it on different mods, really all that is left is the base itself. I am not familiar with the Herakles' base, but it could have a floating pin. If you remove the coil, then tap the pin in the bottom up toward the coil, and then screw it back together, it might help. I have had the pin get stuck down, and not contacting the coil. You might be able to gently tap the pin in while it is assembled by just tapping (very gently), the 510 connector on a table or something.

@Kevo88 is correct. The 15 - 60 watts is just the possible operating range. The wattage you can run it is based on how well your juice wicks, how much airflow you have, and most importantly the juice itself. Most of my juices have a top end range of around 30 - 40 watts in the SubTank mini. If you vape it too long and it is burning the juice, or your coil, you will not only ruin the juice in your tank, but also your coil. Once that burnt flavor gets into them it is hard to get rid of without dumping your tank, cleaning it, and installing a new coil.

@VaporTron I am with you on the 25R's. I am personally going to invest a bit more in LG2's and 30Q's, but I vape at lower wattages, and use single 18650 mods. I want to squeeze that little bit of mah difference out of them. I still have close to a dozen 25R's in rotation, so they are my most used battery. What I do like about the 11.1 volt mods is you don't need boost. For your build, you are using 4.39V at the atty. It is much more efficient to reduce voltage than it is to amplify it. With my mod and a single 18650 it would have to run at 17 Amps just to get the 4.39V at the atty. You on the other hand are only putting out 5.23A.

After an upgrade to the board a while back the image that @cany uses in his avatar/profile picture would pop up randomly in his posts. It happened for weeks. Then one day it stopped. Check out his signature line...lol -

Watch out @cany. Kevo88 brought the Muffin Man to the party! -
I am really interested in this. I am really hoping, but not optimistic, that they will use this chip in a V2 NEBOX. It isn't the best mod I have ever had, but i am using it as my daily driver due to convenience. The NiCr capabilities is really looking amazing. Most people do not realize how unbelievable it is that we are able to measure ohms to .001 and even lower. Just a few years ago it took a a 4 wire ohm meter just to measure anything lower than .01. Accuracy, precision, and resolution makes the measurements very difficult. With a super low TCR, NiCr is 178×10-6 it is not much better than Kanthal which is 2×10-6 by comparison Ni200 is 6000×10-6 So the resistance in Ni200 changes so much more from 20C to 300C than most other wires. At 68F with a .15 coil, nickel would change to .402 ohms at 572F, where as NiCr would be say .5 at 68F and .5429 ohms at 300F. That is not much change! Just the slightest bit of resistance can make 100 degree difference in Ni200, with most other metals, it is will be much worse. I think what amazes me the most is fact we are getting resolutions (not necessarily accuracy and precision) from a $50 mod that rivals a $5000 Megger! There are $1500 Bench Multimeters that do not accurately measure down to .001.

The whole thing with the DNA200's that turns me off is the size. I have been looking at the VaporShark, but don't want to pay for it. I have really had good luck with the VaporShark mods, but the $199 price tag has kept me from buying it. It looks smallish. When the Reuleaux came out it really caught my eye due to the shape. I have had a few dual 18650 mods, and they all sat on the shelf. I like small mods, preferably with removable batteries. I keep a couple dozen in rotation, so it is much more convenient for me to swap the batteries. I was going to pick up an RX and if I like it go for the DNA. I was hoping Christmas, or after Christmas would bring on some good sales. I have also been thinking about the Persa 75 watt. I wish Evolv would come up with a DNA 60, 75, or 100 that didn't require the 11.1 volt input, but used EScribe. 200 watts is personally useless to me. I normally stay in the 30-50 watt range with my TC mods/tanks.

You pretty much nailed it. The DNA200, is the DNA200. The only differences I can find is the type of box that it is in, and the type of lipo/battery that it uses. I personally like the looks of the wismec, just because of the use of 3 18650's and the shape looks like it would be comfortable. Since you already have the RX200 you might want something that looks/feels totally different.
